First time I've used the Clifton South Park and Ride tram service to go to matinee at Nottingham Playhouse. Parked in Zone 4 and finally bought a ticket - but there are no instructions for new users, of which I am one. Fortunately, a member of the public helped me, for which I was grateful. The ride to the Old Market Square was very good, and good ride back. Will definitely use the service again to visit Nottingham from Leicester.

Very spacious car park but headroom is low, so no go for Vans. It's free with charging points for EVs. A hire car for the car club is sometime ready and waiting. Bicycle hub for city cycle holders, £5 per year, it was free once. The car park is on a slope with some flat parts and good for skating. Car show offs do gather on some days, all good behaviour. The ticket machines are low and hard to operate, you often miss the tram faffing with it. Now you can use a card to tap on the green contact point and do this on your return journey with a daily cap. Park and ride is the best way to visit Nottingham if you have too. The tram ride goes through Clifton Estate one of the baby boomers housing estate of the 50s and 60s. This is now a mostly private ownership and part rented housing. The tram ride is basic with the annoying, the next stop and validate your car announcements continuously reminding you what to do. You can also catch airport busses and also short walk to other services Gotham, City, East Leake and Loughborough. Number 1, or 48 to city. Two entrances and two exits but no cut through for Cars. A453 and Clifton Lane , and from Gotham. New road layout is being built along with thousands of new homes all around.

so this is definitely the best way to see nottingham. parking in center is expensive so if less then 4 of you do the park snd ride worth the money. loads of parking and easy to find your way round sign posted well.

This is a good service but does anyone actually buy a ticket? We got the 1020 service after the cricket at Trent bridge and caught the tram from meadow embankment. The train was full of homeless people, I feel very sorry for them but I don’t think it’s fair in passengers to be surrounded by those that are in need of accommodation and support. If you have kids, I suggest a avoid using the tram after a cricket match.

Located south of Notts, its ideal for daily travellers commuting to center and across Notts. Parking is free. There is regular service. Station is clean

Important information for van or camper van drivers, there's a height restriction on the carpark of 2.2 metres. My Transit with a Rhino rack, just slipped under!

There are hundreds of red spaces. There’s always spaces available. This must be the most under used free car park. Many people opt to park on street a couple of stops closer to their destination. This has led to many areas becoming permit parking only. It seems sensible to park here instead of having the stress of finding a space on street or joining the long queues along the A453

Sadly most of the ticket machines were out of order. We missed our first tram whilst having to wait to buy tickets on the one and only ticket machine that we found that did work

Plenty of (free) parking space and a decent tram service into town. I only use the tram occasionally but each time I've noticed that the electronic information boards on each platform, the big main screen by the ticket machines, and whatever data feed they have going to Google maps, all feature different and conflicting arrival times (and platforms). Sometimes I struggle to come to terms with how bad so much of the UK's public transport systems can be. Then I remember Chris Grayling, and I'm suddenly beyond impressed that there's a tram at all.

Easy parking and a quick service into town only drawback is the hassle of getting large purchases back to your car so in all probability I'd drive to a retail park instead but if you just want to pop into town it is a regular enough service. I had difficulty seeing what was on the screens because of bright sunshine 🙁

Very convenient to get anywhere in Nottingham city centre coming from the south. The car park is quite big and is open at night. The tram is quite quick and convenient for a night out in the city centre.

How easy to get into Nottingham! Why have I never used this before...? Good value event ticket hidden away in the menu. There was a broken down tram on our visit and they kept us quite well informed of how long it would delay us.

Nottinghams ultimate attraction ! Ride all day hopping on n off for £4.20 or a fiver a couple! Soooooo many parts of the city n major towns n markets to visit! From Clifton market to notts orbaritam! All the way to Hucknall for a Witherspoons lunch! Lol If you wanna be really boaring, u can ride from 6am thru till 1am !!!!! Just for one price! Amazing!
