Good place for a walk in the woods. good cup of tea! The caravan van sells hot drinks, toasties and treats. (Thurs-Sun & bank hols) Great for dog walks. We saw deer roaming. Peaceful and fresh air. Parking gets pretty full at popular times. Note no toilets. Wild wazzing!

Love it here - have been meeting friends for a fortnightly walk for 15 years now. It's even better when there's a coffee van there as there picnic tables too. It's a place that always calms me down & resets me to peaceful.

Beautiful place, stunning, however there's some deforestation happening at the moment, so just be aware when letting your dogs off the lead. Also there's no dog poo bins, so you're asked to take it home with you O_0

Very convenient for walking the Robin Hood Trail. You can do the circular trail from here, 11.5 miles and very pleasant indeed.

Lovely quiet spot to take the dogs. The majority of the paths are very easy to navigate and there are smaller routes into the woods if you're feeling a little more adventurous. My main gripe concerns some visitors attitude to dog mess as a lot of people seem to just leave it. This is by no means what everyone does but there are areas where you have to navigate to the carefully and its not pleasant. There is a decent amount of parking but it can get very busy, especially in good weather and at the weekends. There are currently no bins provided so please collect your rubbish and take it away with you. It makes the area so much more pleasant.

A very large car park. Gives an ideal site to go for beautiful walks, 4 miles in Thieves Wood and extended to 8 if you use Harlow wood. Certain times of the day a coffee/burger van is on site.

Beautiful natural woodland with some lovely bird species and fantastic wildflowers. Lots of discarded dog bags make it ugly in places but a good place for a walk in the woods.

Great outdoors space with a big (free to use) carpark. It needs a burger van in the carpark, as the previous one has gone. Also needs a litter bin, with weekly emptying. There was a bin until last month, but now poo bags and litter are just dropped.

The woods itself is lovely and it's carpark is really spacious, however they have taken away the only bin which mean people inevitably leave the poo bags in a pile near the signs or dotted around the area. Really really needs the bin back!

GREAT LOCATION IN THE EARLY EVENING UNTIL THE EARLY HOURS OF THE MORNING ( 1AM ) FOR MEETING UP WITH LIKEMINDED GUYS THAT ARE POSSIBLY LOOKING FOR SOME FUN WITH OTHER GUYS THAT ARE IN THE SAME PLACE. CRUISING IN THE WOODS IS A GREAT WAY TO EXPERIENCE THE COUNTRYSIDE AT NIGHT!
