There was a massive confusion amongst all customers about the £6.80 park & ride family ticket machine. Many read about it online, but no one new where it was!
I’ll post two photos of parking machines.
The most obvious, 5 machines ( easy to find) will not give you the discounted 2in1 ticket.
The other photo shows the location of the discounted ticket machine.
This is located by the bus stop ( marked with red arrow) and - as well as the parking ticket-, it gives you a return bus ticket for 2 adults ( and 3 children) for £6.80
Enjoy your day at Oxford!

Very good Park and Ride, toilets available, you can get a cup of coffee, easy to follow ticket machines (you need to remember your Reg no.!) and the buses into Oxford are very regular, clean and comfy. You keep your ticket, don't need to display it in the car - perfect for a 3 night stay with max 72 hours stay allowed 😀
PS you want bus 400 to get to the centre of the city, far right side of the building as you look at my 1st picture (coming from the main road) 😆

Can pay at kiosk stands, but also uses the RingGo app, which personally I find more convenient.
Seems very good value for money, lots of parking when we arrived (09:00) and not long to wait for the bus.
Easy to get to if you're coming in from the east, just watch out though to be in the correct lane: the entrance is pretty much straight after the road changes from 70mph to 50.

Just visiting the area and decided to go and see Oxford..
To save driving through Oxford and trying to find parking opted to use the park and ride...
Wow how convenient...
Plenty of parking spaces and a small nominal fee of £2...to Park all day
Please remember to display your parking ticket before getting on the bus..pay at the payment meters at the bus station
We saw a parking attendant checking car's before we left....
Payed just £5.. for me and my wife return..
So with parking £7... return...
Seems pretty reasonable to me...
FYI... disabled parking is free...
Pay on the bus...got to say that the bus driver on the bus going and returning was so polite and helpful...
The driver going firstly made sure we had correctly paid for parking..
Then told us when we arrived at the stop we need to get off... explained where to catch the bus back..

First time in a park and ride. It would've been nice to have someone there to ask for help instead of having to ask strangers if they knew... Most, like myself didn't. Parking for the time I was there was £2 (make sure you know your reg number) The bus into Oxford was £3 return.
1. Park
2. Pay for ticket (with reg number), keep your ticket with you
3. Get on the bus. I paid using a credit card

Pay parking first (the machines weren't working properly yesterday and it took 3 attempts to buy one). Pay for bus on the bus.
Good value.
Parking would be better if fully tarmaced but otherwise fine and plenty of availability.

This boasts a cafe cabin with lovely staff and WCs in the departure lounge. Parking for up to 11 hrs is cheap at £2 but doesn't include bus fare I'm advised. We were catching the Oxford ' tube' bus to London.

Very good facility if you're travelling during the week at daytimes, but irritating that you have to pay separately for parking and then again for the bus. And most of all I was a bit shocked to find the "regular shuttle bus" doesn't run on Sunday evenings, so if you've bought a return ticket you'll have to wait for an Oxford tube (and pay again) or get a cab to get back to the Park &Ride from the city centre.

Easy to park here with frequent buses to Oxford city centre. Parking and bus were both very reasonably priced. Pay for parking at a machine. Contactless payment when you get on the bus.

Works well, lucky to have been warned by a guide, Oxford city centre is NOT car friendly. As a historic city it was never designed to accommodate motorcars and their is nearly no parking available. The park and ride system works great, there are 5 park and rides set up onroute into the city with excellent parking, just stop park up and hop on the park and ride bus. Busses run every few mins and are clean and efficient. Oxford is best experienced on foot and there is so much history associated with the beautiful buildings and architecture, it's worth the legwork. Definitely recommend the park and ride.
