Nice family park area in Yaxkey, Be Peterborough. This park holds Yaxkey Festival every year, worth a look.

The kids love the tyre swing. To be fair if this was the only thing there, they'd still be happy. As it is there's more. Sports field? Check. Outdoor gym equipment? Check. Skate ramp? Check. Basketball/5 a side? Check. The only thing that could improve it, I think, would be the inclusion of a water park. But that would make it so popular you wouldn't be able to get near the place!

Nice and big. Plenty of room for everyone from joggers and walkers to dog owners. Busy Sunday morning if football on but normally very quiet. Also got a great outside gym. Well worth a look.

I spent many happy hours here as a child, so took a reminiscent walk on Boxing Day. Most of the equipment from way back has gone, and now it might as well have mattresses and safety nets everywhere, although the equipment is now more designed for very small children. Can see now why most kids are sat in front of mobile phones these days ... No real fun to be had these days. Health & Safety gone mad ... As usual 🙄

Yaxley Festival was on last weekend and it was very well organised and ground was good.

A mixture of facilities; an astro-turf smart pitch, an enclosed basketball/five-a-side area on tarmac, skatepark, grassed football pitches, a cricket wicket, an outside gym, small kids swings and a pavilion. All very dated apart from the smart pitch and gym but all safe and usable. No toilets on site. Parking available on site.

Large public green space with a number of facilities including football pitches and cricket green. There is also fitness equipment and a skate park. The site also hosts the Yaxley festival when it is on and also when the fair comes to the village this is the location they set up. Marked as a 4 star as at night is very poorly lit and not the kind of place you would want to go for a late night walk! A wonderful resource in the middle of the village - now with exercise equipment, skateboard park, community orchard, 4G pitch and basketball court - AND a Community Fridge every Wednesday and Friday (10.30-11.30am)...!!!

Really nice playing field, good drainage, couple of football pitches, couple of people smoking joints behind the pavilion, good play area for kids and large enough to wear out the dog.
