m.Great place for a walk, great views. Dogs will love it. Challenging but worthwhile walk to the top for the amazing views
I. B.Such a lovely area for a short or long walk. A short circular walk is a mile, takes 30 minutes roughly. Stunning views over the river, bridge & woods. Can be difficult to walk over the stoney oath in places when damp but we'll worth it. By the car park you can see the remains of the old clay buildings, also you can see the two rivers meet. Highly recommended.
N. b.A beautiful corner of Devon with a tumbling river and moss covered boulders at the foot of an imposing granite crag. One of the nicest spots in England. Ice cream van in season, free parking, popular with climbers.
j. m.It's free not far from Plymouth with beautiful walks with a choice of 2 river valleys to walk along with Rock climbing and hill walks amazing views

G. B.It's free. Well located for walking up the Dewerstone it the much longer circular walk on either side of the river to Cadaver Bridge. Stony, slightly muddy if wet, surface. Capacity about 20 cars.

s. m.This is such a great spot park car up and go for nice slow walk along river or hike up the mountain either way beautiful place a bus stop outside think its a 1 or 1a stagecoach goes past from Plymouth I park here hike then camp magical only downside in the summer fills up with yobs going to the river to play loud music and drink Stella with there tops off

M. B.When I joined 42 CdoRM at Bickleigh in 1972 this carpark and the area around the Dewerstone Rock were very familiar to all of us. Our CO (Lt.Col J.J.Moore) had decreed that the unit was not fit enough and so we got paid every Friday (in cash) at the Rock!
Needless to say a run round the area starting at the Rock preceeded the climb back up from the carpark and then payment!
