Nice for walking with amazing views. Great for kids if they learning to ride a bike or scooter as it's flat. There are ping pong tables just by the playground. There is also out door gym. Plenty of parking around. Swimming pool is really good, water is very salty. There is long wait and you might not get in. There was colour band system to let people in. There are toilets and showers available. There is disabled access ♿

It was lovely to walk up here & take in the wonderful view. Such a shame that graffiti and vandalism of the information boards took the edge off reading the full history of the battery.

Free car parking right near by. A beautiful viewing point where you can pretty much sit the whole day just to watch the view and drink coffee. A lot of interesting history here as well.

Get away from the crowd and no parking charges. Spectacular views Royal William Yard Mount Edgecombe Mayflower Marina The end of the Tamar flows into Plymouth Sound Pop into the free swimming pools. Adults and Children. Or Commando beach with your dog for a swim. At the end of the day go for a beer and food at Jolly Jacks restaurant at Mayflower Marina. Observe how the sunsets giving a golden glow on the Tamar.

The pool is well kept and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Changing room is clean. Lots of free parking & not far from a bus route.

Absoulty wonderful hidden gem! Very clean area with great facilities. The pools are immaculate and lots of lifeguard cover making it feel very relaxed and safe. The session times are sensible and allow a good amount of people in without allowing it to feel crowded. We went on a hot sunny day and it was like being abroad. We had a lovely family day out and spent less than £10! Highly recommended.

This is a lovely place to walk and sit away from the traffic. The view is over King William Yard, the Breakwater and Mount Edgecumbe. King Billy still stands proudly on the waters edge. The swimming pool is now enclosed but still open air and is free to go in. I lived here in the 80's and like to visit this area when I'm here. A bonus is free parking.

Great views overlooking estuary into Cornwall. Free parking, coffee hut there too. Outdoor swimming pools great. I didn't go in but they looked lovely and clean in a beautiful setting.

Kids enjoyed playing in the park while me and hubby were fishing in the pier.. Pier has lighting and seating if your going at night and down by the cafe.. Perfect quiet fishing spot and ideal if taking kids fishing and easily get bored as the park is right next to the pier

Its a free pool open to the public. Its pretty clean, salty sea water. Its perfect for kids without the hassle of sand. You get some interesting people too 🤣🤣. Great fun and well managed by the people that work there. Probably the only good public service delivered by the council in the UK. Be sure to get there at least half an hour before seasion starts to avoid disappointment as they have a maximum capacity of around 120 and it fills up quuuiiiick

Went to get my Covid jab at the cricket club close by and had a little walk to the park. Fabulous views over the marina and the Sound towards the breakwater. There is a well-made path suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs but no facilities

Love this place ,great for walking the dog, cafe on site although its outside seating stunning views across the Tamar river looking into Cornwall. There is outdoor swimming pools for all ages,they are being filled this morning ready for summer.Plenty of parking and its FREE. Toilet there too and level access for disabled people.

It's free so can't complain to much. You have to leave after 90 mins and if you want to go back in que for 30 mins with no guarantee of getting in. Terrible toilets and shower area for women. In my opinion pay yo go to Tinside If you can. If your female and in a wheelchair FORGET using the toilets, absolutely not wheelchair accessible as I learnt.
