Reviews of Theatre Royal Car Park

Plenty of child spaces easy to park. Didn't take to long to leave the car park. Would recommend this car park if going to the theatre or visiting a restaurant.

Good car park, plenty of space, sensible prices (I'm used to those around London which are mental!) AND the stairwells smelt (and were!) clean, unlike in many other car park stairwells!

We alway this use car park when we go into the city centre. Great location.
J. D.
Great place to park your car. We felt safe and is lighted well.

Be better if you could get reception!

Spaces are plentiful. The machine to pay is not overly clear - there is too much on screen. There was also kids playing on skateboards that kept knocking cars. Not ideal, and the staff didn't seem bothered.

No great place to leave your car over night in my opinion. Poor lighting and security cameras. Light lite up very briefly when you pass under them. I did leave my car there during the day with no problems.

Sorry to those stuck behind me at the exit barrier following the performance of 9 till 5 , last night 30.11.21 . The ticket was paid but wouldn't be accepted by the machine and it took awhile to raise the barrier, after I pressed the help button.

Convenient location to city centre. Spaces are a bit too small though. When you enter you'll get a ticket, vwhich you pay at a kiosk when you're ready to leave. Prices are per hour, but it was £7.20 for 6 hours and £12 for 'all day'.

This is the only car park I ever use .it's clean tidy and moderate price to park ,always get a space ,staff are very helpful if you need assistance great.

Excellent car park for the theatre. Tricky to find but once you know, you know!
S. D.
Great for ease of access after a show. Shame there aren't more pay machines. We did find one in level 2 with a slightly shorter queue.
A. B.
Excellent, centrally located, clean and safe facility. Disabled parking is plentiful and adequately lit on the ground floor. Lifts are usually working (9/10 last visits), so access is great across all floors.
M. C.
Multi-story next to Plymouth Theatre. 24 hour parking available. £12 per day. Not sure what the hourly rate is. Cash or card payments available.
P. S.
Good as a car park but I did have some trouble with the ticket machines
M. B.
Can't fault it. Fits my SWB Transit Custom in fine. Pay on exit so no rushing back to add time to the ticket.
N. H.
Plenty of parking spaces. Not to crowded. Easy access.

Nice car park lots of space

Impressed with the 2nd floor being dedicated to parent and child parking, where the spaces seemed a lot more generous and with it being on the street level there wasn't any need to navigate any steps or wait for a lift to get out.
Charges were reasonable enough for inner-city parking with prepayment options available.
Though the stale whiff of urine at the exit did bring back vague memories of the stench of the staircase in western approach's car park from my childhood, the rest of the car park seemed clean and tidy enough.

Stroll-on Baby are a good company to deal with and have an amazing payment plan. They do have a handful of terms that they make you fully aware before you pay your initial deposit. It clearly stated all items on a payment must be paid in full before any item is collected from store.

Incredible staff dealing with profoundly I'll behaved customers.

As the name suggests this multistorey carpark is situated next to the Theatre Royal and is a short walk from Plymouth's main shops. I find the car parks one way system confusing and when you find a space they seem quite narrow, it is however quite clean and tidy, luckily I can manage the stairs as the day I was there the lifts were out of order.
B. C.
Good carpark with a lift so very handy if you have a buggy. Only downfall are not alot of parent bays or should I say parent bays being used by people with no kids.
J. H.
Pay machines need to be updated to support contactless payments
R. B.
Easy to get in and out and pay.
B. P.
Well priced and perfectly placed in the city centre.
M. M.
Very busy due to show in TRP, but found somewhere to park .
L. C.
I would have gave it five stars but feel if you have been to a show in the area and leave at the same time as everyone else it can take some time to pay and leave
A. W.
Excellent car parking there, clean and well lite.
But I did see one homeless person sleeping there.
J. R.
It's a car park, pretty handy for the centre and the coast. Plenty of space and easy to get in and out of.
E. W.
What can you say about a car park only that it is quite safe to park there, if you find a space, that is.
F. K.
There's not many places to pay for your parking, a little over priced too
A. E. (.
Easy access. Close to city centre. Pay on leaving so you don't have to guess how much to pay for your ticket.
P. J.
Lots of spaces that are of a good size. Roadways can be a little tight but not too bad.
k. b.
Its a car park pay on exit so no need to worry about the time

A. D.
Great location and plenty of spaces.
A. L.
Car park that uses those tickets you get as you enter and you pay before you leave, convenient but expensive. Payment machine didn't like me paying with cash...
P. C.
