Kids absolutely love this park. Great for the little ones ro cycle and grab a coffee

The park is really big and has a good safe kids park opposite the cafe. A great space for everyone, walkers, joggers, football games, snacks, burgers, chips etc for lunch or just a cuppa. The cafe is well stocked and the staff are the most friendly i have come across for ages, a decent cup of tea served with a smile, so important! The friends of Victoria Park are hard working volunteers who keep the park litter free, tend the flowers and shrubs and liaise with the local authorities to keep the park safe and deter vandals and other undesirable elements, nice one Vicky Park. Level park, popular with dog walkers. Wide tarmac path runs for around a km around the edge. Two football pitches, children's play park, basketball court, wheelchair friendly picnic bench and disabled friendly swings. Some lovely big mature trees and lots of wildlife.

A nice park with a tarmac path around the perimeter. Great for walking the dog or exercise. There is also a children's playground and plenty of benches . The park has a cafe with outdoor seating.

Absolutely love this park so beautiful happy memories too. Not only have i took my daughter here and also grandchildren but my husband and i go for walks here too. My favourite spot is under the cherry tree by the swings.

Love this park. Flat, accessible, football pitches, playground, relaxing space, café... What more do you need?! I particularly like the new addition of a 1 mile running/cycling/walking track that has 100m intervals market out - it's great for interval training. The children's cycle area is good fun and safely out of the way. Plenty of little ecological spaces being added all the time too 😃

Vicky Park is lovely..... It has a fenced in play area that is suitable for a large age range of children. It's big enough to ride scooters and bikes round the paths, and a big expanse of grass for ball games etc. There is a lovely cafe by the play park that is great for a quick bite or a cuppa while the kids play.

This park is very good for dog walkers and active people who want to keep fit. Family friendly too. There is a stair on the left facing north. It works well for moderate inclined walking if that's helpful for anyone keen on keeping fit.

It's a nice place but alot.of drugs done in the area and it is t uncommon to find needles did a litter pic there once ended up finding alot of needles and bottles

Nice little park. Haven't tried the coffee shop yet. Main attraction for us is the flat bike track around the large field. Parking not great but we found a space. We will return.

Great little place to go and play sports with the kids and let them run around and tire themselves (and myself) out. Took the frisbee and also bought a Nerf ball to throw around with them up there, this is my local park but I've not really taken advantage of it but I definitely will be alot more now than all the good weather and summer coming up.

Lovely big park. Good for running and walking as its got an oval field like a track n field oval. In the middle is a play area for kids and a small cafe as well.

Lots of space to run around. Specially designed bike riding and road awareness for kids to learn road safety. A lovely playpark with swings, slide and climbing equipment. Cafe on the side with toilet access. Area for dog walking (pick up after it!) So kids can't stand in it no excuse as bins are provided. Often see a local team play football there aswel.

I walk here everyday with my dogs. I love the big space and the cafe is there too. Great for thirsty adults and dogs alike. The play park is always well maintained. The doggy bins are emptied regularly and it's a lovely place for just chilling out.

A nice park to come and relax at, there is plenty of seating however the only undercover seating is in the cafe. The park can get very busy on nice days during the school holidays so that is something to be aware of. The cafe is very useful if you want a snack during your time at the park.

Great place for walking your dogs and meeting other dogs and their owners. When I was new to the area it helped me to make friends. The park is a bit scruffy in areas (especially the old bowling green which tends to be frequented by drug users), however there is a great children's play park. Also there is now a lovely cafe so it is a well used, friendly place to go.

Great area of green space with a large play park area in the centre of it. There is also a Pavilion Café just by the play park which serves a range of hot and cold drinks and treats. This park is perfect for walking, running, dog walking, families, literally anyone!

Victoria Park is full of uses. There is a play area for children. Basketball. Football pitches and a lovely walk for yourself or with your dog. Very near to the coast and to the city centre. Also not far away from the railway station. It is a great place to unwind

A really lovely place to visit which is beautifully planted n kept nice all year round. Obviously there are some probs with dog poo from irresponsible owners even though there are dog bins provided but some people just dont care but that isnt the majority. It has a really lovely play park and a very large open football field where activities are laid on during the school holidays. There is an extremely wide, flat, large path around the perimeter of the park which is ideal for all abilities to make use of as it has plenty of benches dotted around for a good sit n rest to watch the activities of the day. The cafe is lovely n dog friendly with a disabled/pushchair access around the back. The homemade cakes are to die for, so it is definitely one of my favourite meeting places for a walk n to pop into afterwards.

Vicky park.. the dogs man, the doggos are the reason this park is the sh*t! I walk through the park several times a week and I cry when I leave because I can't be friends with all the dogs. The sausage dogs, the dog that barked at the broken chair because it wasn't supposed to be there, the fekking shiba inu I met last summer!!!! I love them all and they are the reason Vicky park is awesome. One time I was walking to the park, coming up on the zebra crossing a guy blew a snot rocket from a window, nearly landing on me. I mean that wasn't so cool, but that was the day I met the shiba inu, so that made up for it.
