Reviews of Charvil Country Park
M. H.
A beautiful country park by river Loddon full of plenty of lakes and ponds. The scenery is wild and beautiful with plenty of walks and paths.
The park offers a complete experience of walks in the nature for walkers and dog walkers. Unfortunately, like many other parks in the area there is no dedicated car park. At busy times it’s quite difficult to park on the side of narrow roads and there are no bins for the doggie poo either!

Nice to walk round the lakes in partly wooded areas with openings on to the lake and also open land. There are many quiet paths to follow and the whole area is unspoilt.

Lovely walk. Most of it had a path so not too muddy when we went. The lake is beautiful and with ducks, swans and geese. The parking was free. Made a lovely morning out.

Great place to walk a fog in hot weather. Lots of trees for shade and lakescanfxa clean river for cooling down.. :)

Very beautiful pictures there!

If you want time to yourself, a great place to go for a walk. Particularly popular with dog walkers, but never would I call it a busy place. Very easy to get lost in the maze of narrow paths around the lakes and at the height of summer many are overgrown. Yes it is good that it remains natural but a little more maintenance would make this a great place.

Better than nothing but far from great. Been to few and this one is fairly odd with far too many places someone could hide ... Would not venture in the dark.

Fab place for a walk with the family or dog, there is also a fantastic country pub en route (Heron in the Ford), that does great food and lovely drinks, the pub is VERY dog friendly, great service, lovely atmosphere and decor.

Lovely spot for a walk with of without dogs. If you don't like dogs then difficult to pick a time when there are none. Great wildlife and refreshing environment.

Never been here in my life so no idea why it's asking for a review
