Nice clean park with some big mounds that my kids loved cycling down. They're building a new play area which looks like it will be great but for time time being it's a large field with a small skate park and a pond with ducks you can walk around. Parking is easy free and plentiful when you park in the leisure centre car park.

Nice popular kids playground, has a sandpit and slide, lots of things for kids to swing on and climb, good zip line for older children, and most popular in the summer a paddling pool for the young ones. 10/10.

Visited the inflatable theme park intially but when we exhausted that we went into the park where was plenty for the children to play on . They really enjoyed themselves. There is also a pond with ducks on and beyond that another little play area near a small very clean paddling pool.

Unique park, different than most in Reading. Big area for children to play, there's a playground on the side for small children. Overcrowded on Sunday.

The new playground at Woodford is open, and a vast improvement! Plenty for kids from toddler to 10, and of course lots of field and park surrounding for the older ones for bikes, skateboards, football etc. park at the top by the gym.

This Park is well maintain by the hardworking Park wardens who do an amazing job. I see them litter picking daily along with emptying the bins. The work throughout the winter clearing around the pond is fabulous. Do make a visit to this park. I walk my dog daily here and again dog walkers and the dogs are all friendly. I love this little park, so please go visit

Would be nice to have proper basketball court such as those in Reading's Prospect park. After many years, new playground has been built, but no proper basketball court yet. How possible to encourage people in this country to play basketball?

This a great facility, with something for everyone. We mainly use the skatepark here as daughter is learning. Just enough variety to give her new stuff to try, nothing too big though. No hp, just a small qp and some fun boxes. Would recommend for beginners.

A leisure centre withe a small play area and a lovely big plot with hilly landscape for children to run around and have fun. The birthday parties we have attended there(4) were all nicely organised. No complains. This last trip was to a fair over Autumn half-term holidays. Children as usual enjoyed my loosened purse strings.

It's a nice place for a short stroll. There are some playgrounds for the children. It gets really busy when the weather is nice as it's close to the shops and has convenient parking. It would benefit from a larger playground like the one in Prospect Park.

Very nice park! I really enjoy going to this particular park when I go out because it is really nice, expecially in the sun, it has a skate park aswell. Plenty of paved paths to go on or walk in the grass. also has a big grass hill and a lovely pond you can walk around.

The park has a good range of activities to keep kids entertained for up to an hour or more. Facilities include: lots of open space for picnics, enclosed football area, paddling pool which is very popular in the summer, a pond with enough ducks to feed and 2 play areas with swings/slides etc

Good little park with two children's play areas, a summer paddle pool, open spaces, a small skate park, some outdoor gym equipment, a large pond and a small leisure centre. Refreshments and toilets are available in the leisure centre near the pool and larger play park. The smaller play park is very run down so I'd recommend going to the bigger one! There's a park run on Saturday mornings and frequent funfairs and other entertainment.

A great park with loads of room for families and groups to use this for sports activities, picnics, kicking a football around etc. Nice area for walking a dog too. There's a little wading pool and park (swings, seesaw etc) for younger kids. The park is well maintained and it's a great place to go, especially during summer!

Beautiful park, near Woodley town centre. They do have paddling pool open during the summers. The pond around the park makes it beautiful to visit and feed the ducks. It’s a great place to walk/run as well. There is a gym/leisure centre attached to it, which has a lot of activities during half term and summer breaks.

This park, although relatively small, has something for everyone; skate park, walking path taking you round the entire park, two kid's play areas (one with a flying fox!), a little pond which is often full of ducks, geese and even swans, a sports centre with event facilities and enough green to keep the many dogs frequently walked there entertained.

Lots of trees cut down. Every Bush and shrub has been cut right to the ground. Its like there obsessed with chopping vegetation. How this can recover for nesting season is beyond me .

It's a beautiful park with a lake, two sets of play areas and one with paddling pool, oakwood centre is inside it and leisure centre with different sport facilities is also on site, it's a great park for a family day out,bathrooms are available in both the centres.

Woodford park has something for everyone.. Dog walking, children's play area, sports amenities or just somewhere to sit quietly and reflect. Every second Saturday of June the annual Woodley Carnival is held there.. Also a memorial for those who have fallen fight for our country.
