D. R.I visited on a Friday. Despite a half full car park, the park itself was surprisingly quiet. Well maintained and signposted footpaths.
Chose to walk a long route mire or less around the periphery which took just over an hour. Lovely woodland and beautiful lake.
Clean toilets too.

m. 2.As car parks go - and I count myself as a rather experienced user here, I recommend a close inspection of the padlock to be spotted on the entrance gate as one drives in. Presumably used to 'lock up', (a term those in the security industry like to use..) it's a definite photo opportunity not to be missed
