Reviews of Parkhall Country Park

NEAR ABOUT HIKING EXPERIENCE:
Nice place to spending a sunny day. At some points, i felt like i am in Himachal, India. because those small mountains points looks like that.
If you want to some thrilling experience then you can go deep into the forest to explore. Nothing much to see but it could be nice thrilling experience.
Thanks

Nice place for a good walk, open all year round, although a bit wet and boggy in places during wet weather. There is a choice of walks to do over a landscape that dates back millions of years. There are several car parks and several access points.

Great place to spend time walking around. Some lovely views.

We have spent such a lovely time out with the kids here today. Due to the heavy snow from last night we were able to have snow fighting and ride the sleigh. Really worth the 2.5h drive we did to get here.
D. B.
Beautiful natural park. Excellent space for dog walking.
S. C.
Great walk, we love biking, walking the dogs, fresh air and places to rest, all super!

Lovely country part, fields, quarry and woodland with a few natural ponds too. A cafe close by

With a good sized car park and a short drive from Stoke, this is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! There’s so much greenery! We were a little shocked by how many people there were around to start with, but as soon as we went deeper into the park there were less and less people. It was such a large area of grass, forest and mud at parts. There are a few ponds here and there (which I’m sure dogs would love) and many areas for kids to play in the trees!
We loved it, it was a perfect Sunday walk in the countryside!

Nice place to walk. Would be nicer if it was tidied up a bit but it’s a great long walk for taking your dog.

Lovely day walking the dog but the Visitor center is still closed.

Superb walkabout for an hour's breakaway from it all. Oh, and if it's a nice day don't forget the picnic if you're with family and kids as there are quite a few picnic designated areas within the park. Enjoy your visit!

There's loads of space. You can walk for miles. I don't go often but there always seems something new to discover whenever I go. It's good for birdwatching. There are toilets there. The new visitor centre is being built.

Nice place if you like more rugged landscapes to walk around
J. A.
Beautiful country park with many interesting aspexts. Wooded area with open grassland and gorgeous views. .
C. W.
I'm here everyday either with Betty my Golden doodle or on my mountain bike. It's a beautiful place that is different with each season. It can get very muddy and slippy in winter.
Beware of lazy anti social dog owners who allow their dogs to foul on the paths and not pick it up!
M. W.
The views across the city from north east of Mow Cop to south west of the Wrekin are worth the visit alone but this place has so many layers to explore, just a shame the dog owners can't clean up and fly tippers can't go to the recycling centre.
D. A.
Really fantastic sight for varied and interesting walks, visit every couple of months and so much to explore.
S. M.
A place to walk in peace. There are no toilets for most of walk The only ones are not open very often so people need to go before walk There is not a playground for youngsters .It's quite cobbly to walk on the paths.Though wheelchair users would have had access to the loos at present no one can get to the building as they are using the car park whilst building so not suitable really for the chair users. The area is vast for walks and on a nice day can be enjoyable .

Great place for walks and views across SoT and beyond. Shame there's so much rubbish around the Maiden Castle side as it is lovely too.
