Reviews of Port Isaac Main Car Park
D. B.
This is the quintessential fishing village, we wanted to visit foe time and it didn't disappoint! Beautiful scenery, shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs! We had a great day! Couldn't recommend more!
I. Y.
It's a lovely little village but rather steep walk & quite away from the carpark, they were filming doc Martin when we got there so the sister in-law was chuffed & I had the beach basically to myself as everyone else was on the path leading to the house they film at,had a rather nice Cornish pasty from the little shop too
A. J.
Main car park for visitors to Port Issac (Port Wenn for Doc Martin fans). Pay & display (cash & card) with overflow spaces. Toilet block (20p to spend a penny, although locks weren't in use when we went), Maggie's cafe bar (coffee, cake, ice cream) and a well provisioned children's playground to the rear. For those who need assistance walking into Port Issac, there is a Shuttle Service available...
J. M.
Revisited my childhood holiday destination and it didn’t disappoint, not too touristy, good choice of food and drink places and some lovely walks
M. D.
Port Isaac Cornwall what can I say it's absolutely beautiful .
We visited because we are Doc Martin Fans and it was filmed here.
The views are breathtaking I would highly recommend anyone to visit.
B.
Large pay and to display car park with toilets and a cafe. It can get very full during peak season, there are car parks lower down and with easier access to Port Isaac. When I say 'easier' it's all relative, the top car park is a long downhill trek to the village, the lower ones are closer but it's still quite a downhill trek, and of course if you go down....you've gotta come back up.
S. H.
Good car park with bathrooms and a small shop. But if a walk to the harbour which is mostly up hill on the way back.
D. A.
£4 for 3 hours is the cheapest tarriff you can select. Then it goes up in 3 hourly time frames. So not the cheapest option. 20p if you wish to use the carpark toilets. Approximately 15 minutes walk down to the Harbour area.
A. P.
Great car park to leave the car and reach the village by foot. It's just under 10 minutes walk. Affordable price considering is a touristic location. Also got a great view and a good spot to take pictures.
C. H.
Easy to park. Clean toilets. Refreshments available. Great kids playground also side the car park. Fabulous views if the coast line.Easy walk down into Port Issac.
S. R.
Nice roomy carpark, several toilets available and a small coffee hut that also sells snacks. Toilets are 20p to use but you can use contactless if you don't have any change. Bit of a walk into the town itself (downhill). There are a couple of other carparks nearer the port if you aren't keen to walk very far and from one there is a more level path round the back so you don't have to walk down the steep paths but it does mean you miss all the nice shops/pubs.
A. W.
Visited today 9th October 2022 wanted to pay for a £4 ticket by coins, it didn't recognise one of the coins so had to put £5 in to park for a £4 ticket, also one machine was out of order where people had put money in so obviously not ideal, the machine out of order was not covered up so be aware.
As previously mentioned not for people with walking or breathing difficulties .
However we enjoyed our visit to Port Isaac, its a very pretty place.
R. N.
Decent car park with little cafe and loos. Bit of a walk down into the village but worth it! Beautiful, quaint and good place to visit if you’re a Doc Martin fan.
M. M.
Perfect for exploring the harbour or wandering into Port Gaverne. Toilets and small cafe on site as well. The hill down to the harbour is quite steep but there is also a shuttle service available by the looks of it.
J. S.
Its stunning beautiful walk back the scenery is amazing. We are so lucky in this country to have such stunning costal line. A must visit if in cornwall
D. K.
Lovely place eat & drink
S. C.
Very busy car park is at the top of a hill but if you keep driving there is a car park at the bottom of the hill much better and ofcourse Doc Martin is filmed there
E. A.
Clean, easy to park, pay and display with 20p toilets. Amazing views with a lovely kids play area, short walk to centre but up hill on return which is harsh in the heat.
Y. H.
What a lovely little place. Would highly recommend a visit
C. N.
Easy carpark to find and use only downside is if your in a camper or motorhome you'll find that some lazy person in a car thinks they should have the motorhome parking which makes it hard for motorhomes to park, I advise if you're physically fit you'll want to catch the shuttle back to the carpark otherwise you'll struggle the walk back up the hill from port issac.
A. A.
Good place to park and then walk into the village. Up hill back out though. Can pay on your phone with the App.
G. B.
A long hilly walk into town. Beautiful views. Excellent snack and drinks stall close to entrance. Toilets clean.
L. C.
Great base for parking to visit Port Isaac. Toilets (bring a 20p coin), cafe and play park. Also adjacent to dog walking field too.
D. G.
For visitors to Port Isaac this may be the closest anyone can get in a car. The car park is at the top of a moderately steep hill - fine for going to Port Isaac but a bit more of an issue returning to the car. The charge for parking seemed reasonable.
P. W.
Parked easily at 9.30 am on a Half term Friday. But filling up fast. Payment by JustPark, good enough BT mobile(ee) signal coverage, but suggest you load the App before you arrive. Board prices are +20p for using just park, rather than cash
L. H.
Good facilities in the main car park with a good park too, great for the kids. Perhaps about a 15 minute walk into the town from the car park.
m. w.
Wanted to see where Doc Martin was filmed.Port Isaac is a beautiful place. Be warned anybody not too nimble on their feet it is very hilly. Going down the hill is fine. Getting back up is a different story as my mum found out.....car to the rescue.
J. h.
Minimum Payment £3 for 3hrs. Coins only or pay by phone. All night parking available too - amazing view!!
If this car park is full there is a private farmers field 100m back at same £5 all day price
R. C.
Relatively large pay and display carpark. Prices are per hour, which were reasonable and on par with others in the vacinity. Public Toilets are available at a cost of 20p per use. Short walk from here to the harbour of Port Issac
J. J.
The carpark is quite a walk from the harbour, but worth a visit if you are fit enough to walk it.
K. W.
Very busy car park, reasonably priced parking. About 15 min walk down hill into the harbour.
P. R.
Wonderful views, good location and only 10 minute walk into town, be aware tough walk back up the hill
E. R.
Good option for parking to enjoy a walk and beautiful views.
M. E.
Not a bad car park. Overpriced a long way to walk downhill, hard work walking back up to it.
M. D.
Plenty of spaces, situated at top of hill. Toilets available in car park but have some change in your pocket as will need to pay to pee
P. G.
Car park Was empty to note like most places Toilet access is contactless payment . Also snack park and play area
V. B.
Great place to visit (if you can manage the to and from the carparks) tight little alleyways and a few little shops and places to eat
C. D.
Stunning views and beautiful place. Added bonus of briefly seeing/quick talk with Martin Clunes as filming for last Doc Martin.
F. J.
Well organised parking for a good longish walk to the home of Doc Martin. Hills are steep but worth it for a picture outside the surgery.
E. O.
Car park OK. Best to pay for car parking via the machine if you can as mobile signal was a bit rubbish. Need the JustPark app. There are loos, which you do have to pay a nominal amount for (contactless payment is possible), which gets you 15mins.
K. M.
Very clean and well maintained car park.
Bit of a walk from the main part, but it's all down hill.
M. J.
Port Isaac,is a very nice place, but rip off car parking is the issue, quiet a walk down to the village, Mike Wigan,
G. C.
Beware as this car park is about two miles out of town. Long walk down but even longer walking back uphill. Go further in as other carparks nearer.
M. H.
Right at the top of the village but plenty of space. Good views across the ocean and as long as you take your time the walk up and down to the harbour is fairly easy
B. B.
Fabulously clean and tidy car park at the top of the village, great views from here.
B. R.
If you are visiting Port Isaac this is the main car park. It is quite a distance to walk to the village and down a steep hill with means it is a steep hill coming back. The toilets on the car park will cost you 20p. There is a small coffee shop there and a play area for the young ones.
J. B.
Nice big car park but very steep getting down to the harbour
J. C.
Lovely fishing village, home of the real fishermen's friend, friendly and welcoming.
o.
Good carpark and only a short walk unto the village
P. N.
An easy walk into the village. Downside is you need 20p to visit the loo!
D. G.
The only problem I had was I arrived on a motorbike and to pay for parking you needed an app. Internet signal not great so took at while to sort
P. B.
Location is a decent walk, guess it might benefit from signage on best route to village. If you don't like walking or steep hills there is a local taxi shuttle. On the plus side, decent sized bays for cars.
c. s.
Really good car park not too expensive but a lot of faffing about with the machine.
S. P.
Good size car park and easy access to Port Isaac village. Takes around 10 minutes walk to village and a little longer back as a bit of a climb up hill. The ticket machine was a little tricky as hard to see. Look closely for messages just above buttons to tell you your options.
A. B.
Bit of trek to town but we'll worth a visit lovely locals
N. A.
Good all weather carpark with playground and coffee shop. It is a fair walk down into Port Isaac so bare that in mind as its a steep walk back up.
B. W.
Good well laid out car park. Walk back from village head work although taxi shuttle service available.
M. L.
Two levels always busy there's also toilet facilities somewhere too buy a coffee and a small play area but not a great deal of seating or picnic tables.
s. k.
Location of the car park is great, not far from the port. Unfortunately couldn't pay work cash and had to pay by card online with a new app and extra unexpected charge for the privilege! There were quite a few customers that weren't very happy with this set up. On a plus side, car park had plenty of spaces and stunning views!
N. B.
Situated above the town there are a couple of car parks with plenty of spaces for about £5/day. It is around 750 metres from the village which is at the bottom of a steep hill. There are some toilets and refreshments available at the carpark. Although it can get very busy you should be able to find a place as the car parks are quite large. Note it is not possible to park in the village itself. There is another carpark lower down but it is much smaller and quickly fills up.
R. F.
The views are worth the price to park here.
J. L.
Full on the day I visited, but found a space in nearby garage car park, cheaper too.
P. B.
Little choice of length of stay. I guess the authority expects every one will be there for a minimum of 4hours
I. C.
Love this place. Lovely walk and a bonus for any Doc Martin Fan
M. D.
Easy to access, a bit of a mission to walk in and out of port issac
C. W.
Nice cafe no locks on toilets good car parking
A. B.
Decent out of town car park so vital in these honey pot tourist villages. I think it only takes cash, which is a bit quaint these days. Nice new loos but would be better if they could be free for patrons of the car park.
B. D.
Great car park with plenty of parking.A good walk to the harbour
D. C.
Great car park with toilets and a lovely little cafe
k. r.
Perfectly placed and having a park to entertain the kids while we all used the loos there were great. Self locking doors on toilets were a bit scary and my son had someone walk in on him in as the door failed to lock. But otherwise a great point to convene.
G. C.
Best to park at the top car park and take a walk down to the fishing village. Gorgeous place, love the tiny walkways, paths but way too busy for us. Within an hour of being there, we wanted to go. Very friendly people, but very pricey products. Amazing crew at the RNLI. A must for pescatarians, fresh fish at the fishmongers. Loved the walk towards Port Gaverne.
N. T.
Good well maintained car park, approximately 725 metres from the harbour. £3 for 3 hours, takes coins and cards. Clean toilets available, £0.20p. Small coffee shop here also
T. B.
Nice spot with good views. Pay toilets which could of been alot cleaner considering the fee to get in. Long steep wakl back too from the harbour. Nice play area for the children with benches to rest at for the adults.
O. a. a. s.
Car park has toilets located at the entrance 20p is needed to use them.
It's a short walk to the main area of port isaac it is hilly so if you are disabled or very unfit you may struggle. There is a carpark closer but it also looked very busy with a few cars waiting for spaces.
K. V.
We agree with other reviews....a nice, well maintained car park. Ideal for visiting this lovely little village but the walk back up the hill is quite challenging. Good idea to get there early, even in quet times it gets busy from late morning. Toilets clean...remember the 20p charge!
C. B.
Clean, convenient, good facilities and children's play park next to it. It was more fun back in the day when you used to be able to watch people forget their cars on the slipway when the tide came in but this car park is more practical for the masses
k. k.
Nice well kept car park just get there early as fills up quickly.
Another tip no card facilities on the payment machine so make sure you have change or better still download the Justpark App on your phone. If I hadn't had a signal we'd have had to leave.
j. r.
Very good value for money, it was £5 for the full day taken from an attendant. Not sure if they take cards though. Plenty of room, but it's quite a truck to port Isaac, they do a shuttle though.
D. L.
Very easy to use car park. Payment is simple and can be done by mobile or with cash or card. The spaces are very wide to easily fit modern cars.
Good toilets on site to be able to relieve yourself before setting back off on your journey.
E. H.
Nicely laid out, reasonably priced, there are also toilets here. It's approx 8 min wall into Port Isaac. It is on the brow of a slightly steep hill so not ideal if your not very mobile.
m. w.
Good parking short walk into village
D. T.
It's a really good park and a nice walk down into the town. Usually plenty of spaces and you take a risk on going further down toward the town. There is no parking now in the harbour even if you want to risk it driving into the harbour, my advice don't try it Even in a Smart car. Toilets all now 20p and they have some new nice ones in the car park so take advantage and a if you need it a small cafe.
I. Q.
Big enough car park. A 15 minute walk uphill from the village, not too expensive, although you have to pay to go to their toilets. They do also have a little coffee place, that smelled really nice, so they must make good coffee.
R. T.
Bit of a walk down but ok. Make sure you take money for toilets
k. k.
Good price for a car park machines are a bit fiddly to use , saw an old couple really struggling with it, the walk down the hill isn't far and not as bad as some reviews make out I would recommend using this car park if your visiting for the day
R. C.
Great place to chill out and have a meal in on of the harbour eating places
J. S.
Limited number of spaces, but get clearly marked out and a straight forward price. Be prepared to pay 20p for the loos, they always seemed in demand, but no option to get in the when no change available. Same in the town.
Anyway a great place to visit and see the sights.
R. H.
Get here early if you want a space! It is a huge carpark but there are alot of visitors. We got there at 10 am and there were plenty of spaces. When leaving at midday it was full. Reasonable parking charges. Its approximately a 10 mins walk to the harbour at a reasonable pace.
c. h.
On the hill leading into Port Issac, well laid out but it does get busy so took friends advice and arrived before mid morning.
Payment is by cash 🙂 , or by using a app on your phone 😬, although for some this took them over 5 minutes to access and pay.
M. B.
Very big but try and use the one lower in town after 11.00am it's cheaper.
M. D.
Great carpark on the outskirts of Port Issac with toilets 20p and a foot path to the harbour and Doc Martin filming area. £3 charge wasn't to extortionate.
T. F.
Okay if you like walking step hills
S. R.
A really good, purpose built carpark on the edge of the town. Lots of space, so well worth parking here and walking down into the town. Toilets and a coffee takeaway on-site. Card, cash and app payment all catered for. Best arrive before 11am, as it really starts to fill up by lunchtime!!
K. I. S.
Long hard uphill climb from port Isaac, all the toilets and shop shut at the car park out of season, but parking fees didn't reflect the loss of facilities. Port Isaac totally void of any shops, cafe, restaurants and pubs. Just not worth the parking charge. Don't go.
M. P.
Such a beautiful place. Parked at the top of the hill so had a bit of a walk. Parking not too expensive. The views were stunning. The beach was beautiful and the smell of food from the shops was amazing. We had fish and chips from the takeaway chippy not over priced and tasted great beautiful fresh fish.
T. S.
What a great car park. Yes it's not the cheapest, but considering the location and amazing view, it will be money we'll spent.
Please be aware that the walk down to Port Isaac is rather steep which means you have a hard walk back.
M. B.
Port Isaac was as expected, lovely place to visit. Had to imagine Doc Martin being filmed there as quite a busy place. Coastal walk to port Quinn was strenuous but worth the views, and an inland loop back to port Isaac.
S. H.
Pity re toilets not being free 20p a go not very good if got bladder troubles
D. S.
It's a car 🚗 park, what can I say... its a long way from the bottom of the harbour
L. H.
Great place to park for your trek into the town, passing a few local shops on the way. Plenty of parking available and the fee is very reasonable for all day parking. There is a new building with toilets and washing facilities available - has a small charge - a small contribution for the local economy. There are public toilets in town too and these also charge a fee.
T. T.
Not bad priced, easy to park, saves hassle of queuing for a space in the limited area at bottom of hill. Also there's a taxi service that do pick up and drop offs for small price if walking is an issue.
J. O.
Large car park but long walk into the village, even worse on way back up steep hill. Not a cheap car park. £3 minimum. I saw no sign of a shuttle bus. Toilets on site (20p entry). There is a bus stop opposite but infrequent service. There is another car park nearer the village which becomes very full (100 spaces) but is far better for disabled but still a 200metre walk into the village centre. 70p first hour.
R. S.
Excellent parking facilities. There is a shop on site for your needs. It is about 15 min walk into Port Isaac that may put of some people but there is also a footpath that leads behind the main road into the car park which might be better. Luckily no Private Carpark Operators to con you out of money which is important. Clean site, and some amazing views.
U. G.
Good place to park and not expensive. But you have to walk for at least 15' to get to the harbour. A thing to improve: if you do not have a 20 p coin you cannot get into the 🚾
N. R.
Ok car park easy walk into village but he'll on return killer hill!! The pay machine would only take cash, card payments would not work very poor also min spend was three hours rip off charging.
F. T.
The home of "Doc Martin" absolutely stunning scenery. Beautiful clear blue water. Tiny streets you have to investigate. I suggest you park here and walk down the hill you can follow the path above the sea which will take you straight into the town. Some very unique shops to browse. Plenty of ice cream parlours and quirky cafe's to whet your appetite. So much history here. Smugglers and pirate's.
S. R.
As car parks go this is definitely up there with some of the best. Facilities are excellent with just the right number of ticket machines. It's a bit of a walk to the village which is all down hill... But obviously you got to come back at some point... Which is all up hill! I think going up hill first would have been a better option, no one likes a lengthy up hill walk after a splendid day sampling the many beers on offer in the local pubs. Only let down by the fact they charge to use the toilets... Again not something you want to find out after a lengthy walk up hill after several beers only to find you don't have any 20p's
M. D.
A good location. Only 10 minute walk into centre and means you avoid narrow roads. It is a a bit of an incline returning to your car.
R.
Easy to park but more expensive than the council car park down in the village
M. Y.
Good secure car park only £10 to park for 24 hrs. Only downpoint was the steepness of the roads into port isaac but don't let that put you off as the walk is well worth it
P. S.
Parked here with camper for a visit into Port Isaac, not a cheap car park!!
S.
Fairly reasonably priced with a minimum £3 for three hours. You are unlikely to spend less than that in Port Isaac. It has a playground next to the Car Park and paying toilets. It is quite a distance down the hill to the village so not for the frail.
S. A.
Reasonable costs but a fair walk from the port Isaacs main shop area
S.
Great place to visit. Home of Doc Martin and the Fisherman's Friends
B.
Car park was full we drove around for ages then found a private one next to it .loads spaces
C. k.
Lovely car park and great views
P. B.
Nice place. great views. Lovely shops. And places to eat and drink. Be-aware of the small car parking spaces. They are limited.on busy days.( Watch were you park or you will get a ticket)£60.( Keep off the grass).
B. H.
Even disabled people have to pay for parking
N. W.
Well it's a car park with car park spaces it the amazing thing is 1? The view is stunning. 2. The play park next door is really good.
d. c.
Main carpark for Port Isaac. Good hike to the town from here. Down hill. So be warned its all uphill for the return. Can get very busy so parking can become a problem if you get there later in the day.
L. S.
Plenty of parking, however, it's about 1km away from the main tourist area. This is a problem for anyone with mobility problems, getting to the tourist area means walking down a very steep hill, the climb back up (which our fog struggled with) is challenging for the fittest of people.
N. T.
Nice walk down to the harbour. Reasonably priced, or in other words not more expensive than usual. Parking decently spaced. Need 20p to use the toilet.
K. M.
Great location, 5 mins walk to port, all down hill but up hill going back 🤣 good price
I. C. K. R.
The Car Park is at top of town so a five min uphill walk to get back.
Good facilities and reasonably priced.
K. W.
Although the carpark is very large and can accommodate a lot of cars it could do with the parking spaces being marked out. But on the side the toilets are very clean
O. A.
Good sized parkcar with reasonable prices. Disappointed that you have to pay to use the toilets.
L. H.
Try to avoid driving through the centre of port Isaac to get there because it has a lot of pedestrians and thin streets (a mistake we made). If the weather is super hot it’s a good idea to take suncream or cover your shoulders as you have to walk for a while to get into the village (this is how I burned my shoulders).
D. P.
Decent parking, with overflow, public toilets and a kids playground. It's quite a walk to Port Isaac and a hilly one so not for everyone! Port Isaac is a beautiful place though
S. W.
We left a little disappointed with Port Issac although still worth a visit
R. S.
Well placed ..not to far from the centre and the Co-op is handy on the way back!
J. A.
Good car park but a tough up hill walk back from the village and a long way out. Too far if you are elderly or have other limiting conditions.
F. S.
Good parking, £3 for 3 hours. Toilets available here too
C. S.
Great parking wide spaces and a great view. 730 meter walk down to the harbour but not to far. Strict monitoring by warden...£100 Fine if you're late or haven't displayed.
S. C.
Pricey compared to other car parks and your need to be fit for the steep hills and streets
K. H.
Nice car park. Parking starts at 3 hours which if you just want an hour you've paid for 3
p. s.
Main car park was full but a very good alternative to the main car park is the independent car park not to far away
You will like Port isoc if you are a fan of the TV programme doc Martin which is set in the town and ceroundung area
A. P.
Great carpark. Lots of spaces and a large, gravel overflow carpark that you can park big motorhomes in. At £5 for the day it's probably not the cheapest, but fairly close to the gorgeous little town of Port Isaac, a must for Doc Martin fans.
P. H.
Nice port not much for kids
J. E.
Couldn't find space, as people hadparked poorly. It took ages to get everyone queuing without spaces to reverse or turn around. Very little manoeuvre room. The other carpark was easier to park with attendants making sure cars parked well
P. C.
Never actually got parked due to how busy it was midweek in the last week of the school summer holidays and it not being the biggest. It looked to have some good amenities though and had there been any spaces I’m sure it would have been an adequate car park.
J. B.
If you're looking to park a car this place is just what you're looking for. A ten minute walk to the harbour without having to navigate the narrow streets. There is a play ground next to it to stop the kids moaning about the walk back up the hill before you put them back in the car.
W. B.
Car park is very good BUT the pay station only takes £ coins so had to leave, no app or phone number you could use will try to go back
T. S.
What can you say about a car park? It had spaces. They were average price for Cornwall but the car park, whilst no great distance from Port Isaac is some height from it... quite a struggle if you're a fatty.
G. A.
loads of parking
shuttle between car & port isacc if needed 🤔
A. R.
Only three hour minimum parking available for three pounds. Very little space considering the high volume of cars. Arrive early if you want to find space. Don't bother with the smaller ones further on in the town. Never any spaces. About half mile walk into the town and be prepared for a steep walk down and up again to port isaac's centre.
J. J.
Plenty of parking spaces and a public toilet. Charges are not extortionate. Grassed areas for picnics. Not too far from the harbour either. Play area for the kids too.
T. J.
The biggest carpark in Port Isaac. Usually very busy. However do NOT Park on the grass, not even one wheel. It is patrolled and they are ruthless with bad parking and OOT tickets. It is approximately a 15 minute walk to the harbour, but there is a shuttle taxi that runs both ways.
A. H.
Car park in ideal place for walk down to village. Plenty of spaces and very well kept maintained car park. Signage and payment details very clear
J. H.
A well organised car park with spectacular views of the sea. Prices are reasonable and you can park overnight but you can't sleep in your vehical/camper van. It's also only a short walk down to the picturesque village of Port Isaac. This carpark also has a cafe.
a. l.
Best car park ever. Very close to nice children play area, idea for little break.
S. U.
No problems at all.. lovely walk into the village..
J. C.
It's ok, moderate 625 metre walk in and back uphill back to beautiful port Isaac. Arrived at 5pm and still had to pay £5 for evening. A bit expensive I feel. At least there was space to park.
S. D.
Good car park but arrive early as fills up quickly in the summer. Toilets and park nearby. Little coffee shop near walk way down into port issac.
B. T.
Beautiful place
Magnificent views. Full of character
K. W.
very busy car park was full but if carry on down the rd there are places to park lovely village but very steep to walk around. plenty of refreshment area"s and the bay was beautiful
F. G.
Bad Bay marking is a tad bad and pretty pricy. A little walk into town but good amount of spaces
n.
It's pleasant, lovely views of coast at present ( before the bushes that have been planted obscures it ). You need good mobility to get to Port Isaac itself. It's a good 20min brisk walk downhill.
i. c.
Very spacious car park
D. W.
Well worth using this car park to avoid the crush in town , and plenty of space around cars makes it easy
S. A.
If you have mobility issues then it's a long walk to the harbour. There is a taxi that will take you down and back up .2 adults and my 7 year old cost 6 pounds .Money well spent on the way back up!
L. S.
Great Venue for the Port Isaac Sea Shanty Festival weekend, but facilities were not up to the capacity of the crowd.
L. B.
Fair bit away from where we wanted to be but the car park itself was fine. It would have been better if there had been a toilet accessible as we had two small children
D. P.
Fairly priced and has a play park at the top.
G. M.
Fabulous place
D. B.
Large car park, but about half a mile walk to the centre. All down hill, so you know what that means on the way back.
D. S.
short walk down to the port and harbour good value for money and a great way of keeping cars out of the main area
c. c.
Nice small car park with a steep walk down into the town. Not too many spaces when we went so go early!
P.
Easy to find, excellent toilet facilities, lovely views, good prices, get there early or it will be full.
R. L.
£3 for 3 hours. Lots of spaces. Get there early like before 10am, especially if you have a big car 😅
B. B.
A good car park but a very steep walk back up from the village I recommend you take the village shuttle car once you are in the village if you have trouble getting back up the hill to the main car park , because it's quite a walk .
A. G.
Big car park with loads of spaces! Able to pay by an app & quick walk down to the port (about 10 mins)
D. O.
Good car park located a reasonable walk away from the port. Toilets available.
L. F.
Good, and not too far from Port Isaac, a nice 10-minute walk downhill to the village. Also not too expensive, only make sure to bring the change, since the machines don't return money.
R. G.
Done a nice job, with this carypark, small walk to town, booming because of Doc Martin....... But using the revenue, too improve the lives of the people who live their...... Had a lovely day, village gets a bit full in the summer...... But lovely place all the same....
A. A.
Good car park and not too far to walk to the town
d. f.
Large carpark but gets full quickly, small overflow section for motorhomes but fills up quite early
j. C.
Good walk down to the harbour but we'll worth a visit quiet steep coming back
P. C.
Wide parking bays and you can drive around and around looking for spaces on 2 levels. Toilets on site 20p a go.
J. H.
A good place to park just out of the village, end an easy walk down
G. B.
Plenty of space bit a tad expensive. All maintained well. About half mile walk downhill into main part of port Isaac. Walk bavk can be tough for the unfit as parts are very steep although it's all on tarmac
P. F.
Located at top of town. Fair parking charges. 10 mins down very steep lanes to centre of village. Only place tò park for visitors. New extension parking in progress as of April 2017

M. N.
Good carpark, can pay with the justpark app also, toilets are 20p if you get caught short.
A. C.
New car park. A fair treck to doc martins house from the location to those not used to walking. For some breath taking cliff scenes carry on past and follow the coast path for a while
D. U.
Good carpark in general, but only one working pay machine... That caused us nearly 20minutes of waiting to be able to pay for parking.
p. e.
Bit of a treck back up to the car park but for £5 for all day parking you can't go wrong,
S. S.
A long half mile downhill trek from car park to town centre, and a much longer half mile uphill after waltzing around the town for a few hours.. Car park was very busy not many spaces left..
S. H. (. C.
Has a little coffee kiosk and a small park, yeah, ok car park.

Lovely views. Very posh car park! Toilets 20p

Big carpark shot walk away from port Isaac tolits on site bit u will need 20p to use .
I. R.
Needed to download parking app first. Paying for toilets is an absolute no no given many people do not carry cash nowadays
S. S.
Car park ok but a 700 metre walk to centre all up hill coming back
V. B.
It had plenty of space, a 20 min walk down to the harbour. If you have walking difficulties there is a shuttle bus down into the village.
J. M.
Plenty of room well set up. Could do with advise of other car parks at Port Isaac, plus the building work on site being completed.
A. B.
Handy carpark with a good footpath to the town. Gorgeous little town, be prepared for some seriously steep hills tho!
m. s.
Lovely place, though it was a bit crowded and difficult to keep 1metre apart, but we went for a hike along the coastal path and the views were stunning.
A. T.
Lots off space if your not keen on walking up hills then you best get liking it very quickly 😂
C. A.
Plenty of parking, nice little coffee stall,a very good kids playing area and great views of the rugged north cornish coast.

J. H. P.
A long walk from this car park but enjoyed the place.
K. E.
It's a car park.. takes ten mins or so to walk into town. Don't advise driving through the town. Not for the faint hearted. I blame the navigator!!
T. B.
Visited in late July; too busy. Little cafe and pay-to-pee toilets but a nightmare to find a space and ended up using the more expensive overflow.
K. W.
Limited spaces. Can get very busy.
Toilets clean, but have to pay so remember to take some change.
R. C.
Great car park toilets there to a little playground for the kids about a 10 minute walk to port Isaac
T. F.
Port Isaac is a wonderful place to visit but it is a fair walk from the main car park, quite steep on the way back from the harbour.
O. S.
This car park is a bit off the centre (~10 minute walk) but a good option when the smaller car parks near the sea are overcrowded.
C. S.
At the top of the village just short walk to the beach and harbour
C. M.
Good parking, has improved alot since I was last there. Good to see toilets and somewhere to get a drink now there
P. E.

Great car park with toilet facilities before the decent into the beautiful village, the tv home of Doc Martin.

Fantastic new car park and the addition of facilities greatly improves it. 20p is not a great deal of money to use them and pays for their upkeep

Down hill to the village easy. Walking back another story. Taxi shuttle service would be ideal for the old and aged.
T. B. (.
Location is half a mile from village, contactless cards can be used to pay for parking.

Toilets on site and not too expensive for parking. There is also a kids park there.
G. H.

T. S.
Good carpark once you can get the mobile payment system to work. Good walk to the harbour.
R. P.
Very busy, it's a long way from the town, the parking app they are using is not good, especially with the patchy mobile signal you can get in the area, otherwise, it's ok
B. J.
Easy access, toilets were clean. Information board on site. Short walk to village.
I. W.
A fair walk to the fictional doc Martin village. Be early as spaces go quick.

Quite a walk down to Port Isaacs from the car park but the views over the sea and with fishing village nestling in the small bay below make the effort well worth while.
