M. R.Lovely panoramic views, places to sit and admire the view and have a cuppa. Not too strenuous, potential to be slippy therefore I'd recommend good footwear
a. m.Amazing little spot. Great car park and brilliant place to go for a walk and chill and enjoy one of the best views in and around liverpool. Very easy walk around the woods and upto the memorial. Plenty of sitting spaces and walking trails. The view from the memorial is worth going by itself. On a clear day you can see for miles and miles. You can just sit in peace and reflect about life and universe and stuff. Site is reasonably maintained and will definitely visit again.
m. g.The War Memorial itself stands proudly on the hilltop at around 500 feet above sea level, it's not only a good place to pay your respects to our war dead and the many that fell giving their lives for us, but a great place to visit with great views of the mighty Mersey Estuary, along with the Wirral and Merseyside areas panning out in front of you.
Pick a nice day and it's a good little spot for a picnic, walk, or just even a nose around if your in the nearby area.
P. D.The view is breathtaking. you can pay tribute to the heroes of World War 1 or enjoy the beautiful scenery with the children, alone or with a partner :)
S. D.Had a lovely day out with the walking club, however if you have walking difficulties this isn't the walk for you. I found the climb up to the hill with steep steps to navigate challenging, but what a view from the top.

P. R.Was a nice uphill hike, several paths to get there. Can be windy but you get a good view of the village and can see the wind turbines and sea, not too busy. Certain paths, especially the one directly to the village cna be quite muddy so would need hiking boots or shoes you are willing to wash or throw if it's been raining recently

P. M.Beautiful views from this point, especially when the weather is fine. The memorial itself is impressive and there are benches to sit on after a nice walk around the area.
H. H.The walk up from Frodsham has been redone recently so is less muddy than before, Still not totally suited for a pram unless you don't mind carrying it up a few steps.
The route down towards Fox hill is much muddier and boots/wellies might be useful if its been raining recently

I. P.I always enjoy looking at war memorials . I find it fascinating to find these silhouettes of soldiers from the first world war that have been done to commemorate the end of the war in 1918.
