Amazing place for kids with scooters, bicycles and rollerblades. There are 6 different tracks for different skill levels. Coffee shop and toilets on site. The large benches and wooden picnic tables are great for having a rest, watching the little ones circle around or having a sandwich. The climbing structures are fun for the younger children.

The woodland are is nice but they could do a lot more with the main park. Good area for children to play and looks like a good skate park but not sure as I do not skate. If they got imaginative with planting out certain areas this could be really nice and a haven to visit. Think more could be done, shame but at least there are activities for the youth.

Best place to have a walk and relax near to WD18 region. Have cafe with good coffee and small bites and pastries. Lots of fun activities available to kids and adults. Cycling and skate board tracks available. Kids fun area is good and well maintained. Restrooms and parking available

Great place to come with the kids, especially if they have their scooters. It has a good selection of apparatus, a great cafe and clean toilets as well. Plus it right by the river and benefits from the surrounding greenery to walk through.

Wow what a make over. The park now has it's own parking, skate and bike park, new playground and cafe! Free parking for an hour. Super improved paths, a delightful bridge all you need now is some lovely weather and come on over😎 4 nearby geocaches as well🧭

Really like sitting on the steep Bank in the sun and there's a good set of stairs to work into a run. There's an awesome looking skate park ifbyiure into that kind of thing. There's a cafe and public toilets when the cafe is open.

Excellent venue.... but bit chaotic with the drinks during the break. Ours weren't there and instead of just letting us have drinks we had to go back to the bar at the end to claim a refund. The event was very enjoyable though.

Oxhey Park is great there are various skate parks and tracks for kids to use their scooters and skateboards on. The climbing frames are big enough for adults so I was able to play with my child rather than spectate. There is a water refill station so you can take your own water bottle and refill while there. There is also an accessible climbing frame which is great for buggies and wheelchair users. There is a coffee shop right next to the play area and restrooms which were clean. If you cycle to the park there is plenty of bike lock up spaces.

Lovely little park! Caters to all ages, large open areas, paths for jogging, and even a kids park and state area. There is a coffee shop in the middle that also serves as a nice resting point. Overall a very good little park. I just with the stream running through it was cleaner!

Amazing park in an unusual spot, kind of hidden away but in the middle of a busy area of Watford/Bushey Arches. We visited on a rainy Sunday. The lovely cafe (Tasty Bean) is doggy friendly and offers a variety of snacks and meals open 7days until 6pm!. The park is excellent for skating, scooters and boards. And there is the adventure play ground too. I'm looking forward to visiting again soon to test out my skates!

Really beautiful park with a variety of different spaces (woods, field, river, play park). There's a cafe that had a couple of vegan options on the menu (though I didn't try any, so can't attest to quality). There are also toilet facilities. Unfortunately, on the day I went, the toilets were so bad that you could smell them a couple of metres away from them. I declined to use them. This was on a very busy Sunday so that may need to be taken into consideration. All in all, this was a lovely visit to a beautiful park and (if you don't need the loo) I would absoulutely recommend a little walk around the area!

The carpark has been expanded (May 2021). First hour free. Awesome spaces for scooters, skaters, BMXers and skateboarders as well as a kids playpark, three concrete table tennis tables and a cafe and toilets.

I like this park as its large, has 2 play areas. and lots of bike and scooter trails from beginner to experienced. It also has a lovely little coffee shop, and canal with ducks and water birds. The park is always busy on the weekends, so if you want to avoid the crowds best to go early or in the week. The downside to the park is the drainage is terrible - so pack your wellys and a change of clothes! They appear to be doing improvements to the drainage so hopefully in the years to come this will get better.... There is also limited parking spaces, most of which are disabled. There is a car park in b and q, although this is limited to 2 hours with camera parking so if you overstay then you will automatically get a parking fine in the post! There is also road parking on the otherside which is probably free on weekends ( but I haven't checked or used it yet. All in all a great asset to the local area.

Really amazing. Wow they really spared no expense and it shows. Car park is tiny so go early but you can, as I did , do a left out of the car park and 500 yds up the road turn left and there are some pay machine spaces on the roadside next to the park. There are all ages of kids and bikes, scooters, skateboards. We had bikes. There are mud tracks with great humps to ride over and a huge concrete skate/bmx bowl that has , thankfully, a circuit of smaller bowls around it. The etiquette seems to be smaller riders(and scared adults) anti clockwise around the edge and hard-core skaters and bmxers fly around the bowl. Its absolutely brilliant. I went with an 8yr old and there were teenage lads overtaking him and tiny tots in the way of him but everyone was really considerate and even though the locals fly around it, they have an eye out for little ones. I am so impressed by this public space. I can't recommend it enough. :^) cafe is large with plenty of seating. Anyone who can ride a bike will love this.

Nice facility and decent coffee here, so busy though. Eldest wanted to skateboard everything but so many unsupervised scooter kids left to roam and reek havoc, it was quite dangerous. Would be worth paying entrance to skate areas if it meant marshalling to make the skate areas safer and quieter.

My kids have spent almost all summer at the skate park. They love it there. Lots of friendly kids (some not so friendly) Unfortunately a few parents that turn a blind eye and let their kids to do what they want, but hey. We just avoid them! Oxhey park is beautiful too. Tasty bean cafe is great also. Friendly staff and a top notch chai latte. Daughter says the ham and cheese croissants and pretty decent too!

Fantastic park for all ages and abilities. Our 3.5 year old can easily spend the whole day here - there is a large rope climbing frame/gym, tracks for scooting/bikes that are suitable for toddlers as well as usual play equipment. The only thing that could be improved is more parking as only a handful of spaces. It gets very busy after school and at weekends but still very enjoyable experience.

Beautiful park within it is an activity park and the café is now open...there is a car park and an area for skateboarding within the activity park....there is a smaller play area in the front of the park and a signposted guide map of what's available in the park at the entrance there's even a small wood!!

A lovely park with horse chestnut trees open grass and sloping down to a river bank - but it's near a main road with only a low rail which makes it risky for some dogs. The recent addition of a pay and display machine does now mean you can easily get a parking place.

I have walked in and through Oxhey Park regularly for many years. It's a lovely place all year round. Compact but with many lovely features. The giant acorn and the bridge were added some years ago. The woods have an adventurous feel then it opens out to the broad garden area as you arrive at Bushey Arches. Also the steps in the middle of the park are great as a form of exercise as well as just a simple way to get to the top.

The actual skatepark at Oxhey Park has great facilities for skaters of all levels, but It's a shame they made the car park so expensive and small, as all the parents/visitors to the cafe take up the car park so I don't always get a space to park which is rubbish!

Lovely park forged from a very baron area near the river Colne. Nice pathway takes you to Wiggenhall Road then back along the skate park to the coffee shop near the small bridge back over the river. Nice pathed, and flat area ideal for everyone and disability scooters.

It's got a cafe and a skate park as well as the traditional park with swings etc, it also has an outdoor gym. There are benches to sit on if you don't like sitting on the grass a bit of something for everyone.

It's a very nice area for walking next to the canal. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars was the few inconsiderate cyclists. You can walk for miles which is a good thing since there's no cars. The locks are quite interesting even though they are not well maintained.

There is a new play area here which has been superbly put together. There are climbing frames, skate park and more, together with a café. For this reason this is s very popular place. The only reason for my four stars is that it was too busy for my small children; there was a broad range of kids playing. Also, in the current Covid times and the number of people it cannot be Covid safe. Look, real credit to the council for a brilliant facility. It is truly very good.

This is a great park for all the family - beautiful natural green space with hidden paths, a small wooded area ('the dell') and a river running through it. Well looked after by Sandy and the Friends of Oxhey Park. It's only small but perfect for dog walking. Just hope it stays that way once the skate park monstrosity gets underway...

It is a great outdoor place, well organised and well maintained. This park has all the important things for a relaxing and joyfully outdoor experience. There is small river with dugs and a small bridge. There are green fields and benches to relax and enjoy the atmosphere and the fresh air. The play ground for children is sufficient and has diverse units for variety of ages. There is exercising area with good facilities for outdoor exercises. It is an enjoyable place to relax and enjoy the green colours while listening to the birds singing when the weather is pleasant to allow it.
