Found paying by the app impossible it kept timing out before I could pay.
Tried downloading it twice and trying several times on each version of the app (only allowed 3 tries!)

J. P.Not much to say about a Car Park is there? There doesn't seem to be any security but this car park is handy for a number of attractions in York. So if you're going to be stupid and not use the Park and Ride then this is a well placed Car Park.
Why didn't I use the Park and Ride I hear you ask. Well in this case two reasons I was going to my daughter's wedding at the Registry Office just round the corner. This car park is ideally placed for there. In addition in use a wheelchair and the are plenty of disabled places in this car park.
All in all, despite the apparent lack of security, this is a good car park for this area of York.

K.Very easy to use the electric car charger but you do need to have your own lead with you. Not a hugh car park and tucked away but nicely central.
T. J. (.Not many spaces. Hotel was just around the corner. Drove round it 5 times an managed to get a spot. Average to expensive prices as we stayed over night.

W. B.Is perfectly placed to access york from the north. Little on the expensive side but is very convenient. Can pay on an app too which is good for extending your stay without having to run back to the car!
D. K.The car park spaces are on the tight side and they soon get full. But Bootham Row is very convenient for the city centre - only a couple of minutes from Exhibition Square and the Minster.
K. T.This my go to car park. It generally has a open space or two. Sometimes you get lucky and get a coveted outside spot that is on the street, so you don't have to battle the traffic inside the car park but there's only a few of those. You can pay coin, cash, card or by phone. The walk into the city Centre is about 5-10 minutes depending on where you want to go.
P. J.It's a car park in York, therefore it's expensive, been remodelled recently seems to have less ordinary parking now.

J. H.Ample parking in the centre of York, giving easy access to all tourist places. Helpful car park inspector showed me how to use pay machine, which at £2.50per hour worked out very expensive (hence only giving 4 stars).

The public convenience needs more looking after, we went in after the cleaner, you couldn't tell she had been there.
