Handy carpark as you can pay when you leave, offsetting the stress of looking for change. Believe you can pay via mobile too. Parked here when I stayed at The Grand hotel.

OK, it was a tad expensive as I parked here for just over 48 hours, but I’d happily pay again as it was convenient, centrally located to Walmgate, and within a 1 minute’s walk from an Air BnB I’d booked for the weekend. Due to the cost and the fact it’s relatively hidden, I’m sure it’d always be possible to find a space at this car park. Would definitely use again.

Handy parking for a quick trip to the town centre. We had payment issues on the machine but called the management company and they sorted it with an efficient and friendly service. Only small so spaces are limited but it's our car park of choice when visiting the city.

So I left my car in peel st parking on Saturday just gone . I have a condition called fibromyalgia, one of the symptoms is memory loss . As a result of this I couldn’t find my car . After 3-5 hours of searching the area I decided to travel back to Bradford by train. After much investigative work I found the car park online, this is four days later !. I made a phone call to the company to confirm it was there and a lovely young lady “Natalie”told me it was. When collecting the car I made a further call to Natalie to organise payment,I was told the whole time my car was there was free and gratis , totally unexpected so my sincere thanks 🙏 go out to “Natalie” and her team .

Very close to main attractions, price very attractive compare to other car park, charging point working without any problems but only with charging speed 12miles/hr it means 3kWh but other than that VERY GOOD.

Can't fault this car park great place to park and safe. £7 For 2hrs. Location 3 mins walk to start of town nr to Primark. Can pay by coins or mobile call up with card for extra 20p.

Great location for the city center, only a 5min walk for even the slowest of walkers. Parking is much, much cheaper than all of the other council and privately operated car parks around the city center. My only complaint is that all of the spaces are berry tight.

Reasonable price, could do with some resurfacing! Payment is cash only - as in coins! But you can download an app and pay through that, which is actually really easy and warns you when you only have ten minutes left on parking with the option to extend, great if you aren't sure how long you're going to be!

My god, never before have I experienced such thrills when parking my car, the narrowness of the frame guarding the entrance, the overall unevenness of the tarmac, the sort-of-extortionate-but-not-really-for-York-ness of the price. If you want to leave your car somewhere for a period of time, this is definitely a place at which you could do that.

The price is more than reasonable, I think I remember that it was £ 8 for the whole day and if you wanted you could pay up to 48 hours for around £ 15. Although it is unguarded, I consider it a safe place. From here to the center, walking takes no more than 15 or 20 minutes. (Original) Excelente opción para aparcar si se quiere visitar York, aunque el espacio es quizás bastante pequeño pero con seguridad que encuentras sitio. El precio es mas que razonable, creo recordar que eran 8 libras por todo el dia y si querías podas pagar hasta 48 horas por unas 15 libras. Aunque esta sin vigilancia, lo considero un lugar seguro. De aqui al centro caminando no te lleva mas de 15 ó 20 minutos.
