Perfect location for the city for the days sightseeing. £13.50 for 5 hours plus. You are right beside the castle and Jorvik centre. Nothing is too far away. There's also a toilet block 40p.

Good car park by the river. Good sized spaces. One of the pay machines only takes coins. The other right as you drive in does take cards. It’s expensive for non residents. We used the RingGo app in the end and it was £20 for 2 cars for 4 hrs on Sunday. Toilets and scooter hire available, both for a fee.

Brilliant place for parking if your visiting York Opera House. or nearby attractions. It's literally a 5-10 minute walk away. The river looks beautiful on a evening as your walking past to head into town. You can pay via card at the ticket machines, if you don't have cash on you. Which is handy.

Location is great, a few pot holes and toppled barriers, and a bit pricey. The App for paying for the parking was fine, no problems. Would probably use again, but with the price they're charging, you would expect the place to be in better condition.

OK it's a car park. My use is in connection with my business and while other commentators have mentioned about this being expensive, it is not the most expensive in York. All car parks in York are expensive but this is marginally cheaper than Tower car park which is close by. There is a move to use your phone for parking fees and I did look for a credit card machine but did not find one. So, if you cannot use your phone to pay, make sure you have a lot of £1 and 20p coins. Yes, the toilets are 40p a go buy all public toilets in York are that too. This car park is fairly easy to get to and quite easy to get out of York. Beware, it floods badly in very wet weather. This also gets busy with tourists and coaches from schools in the summer months. It is a little further away from the main attractions but York is flat and easy walking, it's not as if there is nothing to see while walking around York. The council prefer the park and ride scheme or bike use, so you have to pay to park closer to the centre.

Beautiful area, on the banks of the river Ouse, pleasant walkway, access to open top river boat great value. The toilet in St George fields were very dirty, smelly and expensive at 40p. While queueing 4 people walked away because of cost. Need to work on cleaness, dreadful should be checked on a regular basis.

Good points are it usually has spaces and easy to get to from the south. Bad points, toilets wrecked and not open despite being pay only so they should be better maintained. RingGo for payment which works for me.
