Plenty of spaces here when we parked and had toilets on site too. The car park is very close to the city centre which is great. Only downside is that the parking is quite expensive and you also have to pay to use the toilets.

Great location by York city walls and York St John university but I queued 20 mins in traffic just to get there. Take your credit card if you are staying more than an hour, it is very expensive. It cost me £9.30 for half a day. Read the prices carefully they are not what they seem. Park & ride is not a convenient or timely option for everyone. I guess there is no parking in York that is not very expensive

Classed as a Long Stay Car Park you would expect it to be slightly cheaper. £7.20 for 3 hours, I don't think that's cheap. Don't think I'll be using it again on a visit to York. It is next to the Coach park and does have toilets.

It's a car park. It's quite expensive (£10.50 for 4 hours, despite the tariff board stating £10) but it's only a 10 minute walk from the minster, and probably cheaper than car parks nearer the city centre.

The car park it's self was fine, plenty of spaces and a short walk to the centre. I paid £13.50 for the day (Sunday), which is standard for city parking prices really. What I didn't like was the public toilets. 40p to use and no toilet roll or anything to dry your hands on. Just how I wanted to start my visit (sarcastic tone)

As car parks go, this one is right up there. There is a pay machine that takes coins, but who's got time for that? Not me, that's who, so I used the app. Unbelievable experience. Wow. In awe of this place.

Great car park which is in an excellent location just about 5 minutes walk from York City centre. Big with lots of spaces & also carpool cars. Pay at machine, as with all car parks in York it is expensive, but the overnight parking is cheaper. Toilets are not the best.

It's very handy for parking near to the centre of York but it's very expensive : plenty of parking spots and CCTV + tourist map and toilet facilities. We we're going to dine at a restaurant on Gillygate so arrived at 6pm when you only have to pay £2.00 for an ticket that's valid until 6 am the next day. It's far cheaper to use the park and ride scheme during the day and the buses are plentiful as are the park and ride locations on the perimeter of the city . I would only use this during the day if I could claim parking fees back it's about £12+ for over 4 hours £8.00 for up to 4 hrs but as car parks go it's secure and safe .

Parking is abysmal in York. Virtually impossible to find a place. The carpark itself was OK, but as we walked out the entrance several people were talking loudly about how bad the public toilets were by the entrance.

The car park is easily reached from the ring road and is perfect for the St. John's University De Grey building (literally across the road). It accepts payment via Ring-go. A full day is just over £13. There are toilets on site but need coins.

This large carpark sits a short walk away from York centre.Ok to walk in to york but seemed a long way back .May try the park and ride nxt time.Its also quite expensive unless you have a blue badge.

Visited here to go and watch Leeds play a friendly at York City Fc, clean and plenty of disabled bays to park in. Thank you to the council for providing reasonable rates for parking, Lincoln city Council RIP off its citizens and visitors. We have travelled all over and do not get charged as much as our own council robs us. So once again ty York. Beautiful city to visit. Please give this a like if you feel it useful. Handy for the north side of the city centre, Minster, Theatre Royal and York St John University but a bit expensive, especially if you are not entitled to a local resident's discount.

Our day-trip coach dropped us off here. 15 minute walk to York Minster area. Pay-to-Go toilets available. Choice of coffee shops / cafes nearby.

Coach and carpark with toilet block may be somewhere to eat now but a few yards from one of the main road routes into York gillygate get to top of gillygate you come to exhibition square. Here you'll find the city's main art gallery and bootham bar one of the gateways/ entrances to get on to the city walls not suitable for wheelchair users prams or pushchairs. Some fantastic views of the minster and lovely gardens. In exhibition square you'll find the tourist information centre next to the York theater royal.

(Translated) A good place to get to downtown York relatively quickly. Here, only buses are allowed to park! No cars, no RVs! So take care. Good and clean toilet facility right on the square. (Original) Ein guter Platz um relativ schnell in die Innenstadt von York zu kommen. Hier dürfen aber nur Busse parken! Keine PKW, keine Wohnmobile! Also schön aufpassen. Gute und saubere WC-Anlage direkt am Platz.
