As someone who is very self conscious about going to the gym, knowing the correct exercises or even considering having a PT, Brian is someone who makes you feel at completely at ease and acknowledges the fears and worries you have around personal training.
After having a nutrition session, I had a better understanding of what to eat alongside training and he is always willing to have a look at portion control to help you with your weight loss journey.
When training, he takes the time to know your strengths and limitations to build a good plan for your workout. Plus, he is someone that will always try to push you to do the best of your ability and he will also make sure you feel safe and secure with whatever equipment you are using.

I have signed up to gyms in the past but found that the personal trainers do not listen and gyms became an environment I wasn’t comfortable in. On first meeting Brian, straight away I got the sense he was listening, he acknowledged what I told him and was able to reassure me. He understands my limitations, however, he has helped me overcome what I considered to be my limitations and lift weights I never believed I could. I feel stronger and more confident, he challenges me, I like this, it really helps me mentally. Those fears of exercising with arthritis and fibromyalgia have gone, they don’t stop me. I approached Brian six weeks ago because I wanted to increase my muscle mass and didn’t have access at my current gym to weight training.
I received a quick and positive reply from Brian. He specifically listened to my goals and needs as well as understanding what I would be able to commit to and how I would like to train.
Our training sessions were varied, informative and challenging. Brian always pushed me to my absolute limit which is exactly what I needed because it gave me a bench mark to ensure I was hitting when I trained alone.
Brian was friendly and made me feel comfortable training in a new environment and with different equipment that I had not seen before. He is very approachable, if I forget something from my work out plan I know he is available for me to reach out to if need be in fact he often texts me in-between sessions to see how my training is going.
I have seen increase in my muscle size but I also feel leaner, faster and stronger. I would recommend Brian to anyone but particularly people who feel they have reached a plateau in their training and want to push themselves further. I

I have been training with Brian since June and can honestly say it’s the best decision I made. I had previously trained with 1 PT before Brian but didn’t feel/see any changes which left me questioning training with another PT again..but I’m so glad I got in contact with Brian.
He is an accomplished trainer, a true professional and an excellent PT.
Brian is super knowledgeable in his field and passionate about what he does. He genuinely cares and listens to you and wants to see you get great results. He has been so supportive through out my fitness journey, I can’t praise him enough.
Brian worked with me on mobility, nutrition, body and weight training and the results are amazing!! When he sent me my before and after I was floored... I’d forgotten how I looked...it was a huge change.
In as little as 10 weeks I lost over a stone and inches all over!! This is the best I’ve ever looked.
Brian keeps a daily record of everything from what exercises you’re doing to checking weight and measurements weekly, this shows how your progressing throughout which is what kept me motivated as I wanted to keep losing those inches. The sessions are challenging but effective, they’re also fun and very rewarding, you will feel the effects the next day but you know what you’re doing is working. Brian keeps you motivated and focused during session with his engaging personality and really pushes you so you get the best results. He is all about correct form and does not miss a thing as I found out few times.
What I really like is that he educates you whilst you train and takes the time to explain in detail each exercise and what muscle it’s working. He tailors a program to your goals and limitations and will adjust workouts when/if necessary.
Thank you so much Brian and it’s a pleasure to train with you, the only PT I will train with because I know I’ll get genuine results!

I started training with Brian (PT) approximately 4 years ago. More recently I have been training with Brian 4 months ago.
I have tried and tested PT's before and he is the best. Not only does he cover my physical training with a range of core and cardio workouts, but he will change and adapt to get the best of out me and push me, particularly where I know if I was training on my own i would stop. He focusing on changing your mindset and equips you with the skills and the drive to do that. It is particularly important because I apply those same skills in other aspects, so it is also about the positive mindset and determination.
My decision to work with Brian was one of the best decisions I made because he focuses on my aspects including nutrition. Even when we are not training he keeps in contact to ensure my nutrition is what it should be and additional exercise.
He isn't the type of PT who does the bare minimum. He will push you and takes pride in what he delivers.

~ Brian has been my PT for a couple of months now. I’m in my 60s and have heart disease, 2 prior minor NSTEMIs and multiple PTCAs with multiple stenting. I know my condition. I informed Brian and made him aware that if at any time I felt uncomfortable I will inform him and we would stop. During our periods of training, Brian has been nothing short of professional and conservative in his approach. Our training sessions are recorded so progress is measured. Technique in the movement of weights and tension in the correct muscles are primary to fitness and strength and Brian has the necessary knowledge to ensure positive outcomes. As a younger man, during weight training, I recognise now I was rather haphazard and time wasting. That is not the case now under Brian’s tutelage. My gains would be far more pronounced were I able to adhere to Brian’s advice on nutrition - the fact that this middle aged man indulges just a little too much on carbs is my own lack of discipline - but still results are gained.
In short - I have no hesitation recommending Brian of BV Fitness if your goal is to become fitter/stronger/lose weight or any combination of the aforementioned. If you have health issues, know thoroughly your limits, work with Brian, and he will bring you results. Be patient, work hard, work within your limits and attain your goals.

Brian is a very focused and goal oritentated personal trainer and knows how to motivate each individual to gain exceptional results.
I first started personal training with Brian in November 2014 with a body fat percentage of 22% and within 6 months I was able to get down to a body fat percentage of 15% - exceptional results

It can be hard to find a good Personal Trainer in the sea of trainers that are out there - Unfortunately, many trainers just don't give a damn about the person and what they need to help them reach their full potential and goals - Brian on the other hand is an amazing trainer that cares about people and helping them get to their goals.
