I have tried many times to get fit on my own which never worked well but since starting with Matt only 5 months ago I am the healthiest and fittest I have ever been and it is 100% down to taking Matt’s advice. Thank you Matt and I look forward to continuing!

I started with Matt late last year and have noticed a difference already in my body shape. Sessions are challenging but enjoyable and feel very catered to my personal needs. I have issues with balance and co-ordination but through my work with Matt my stability seems to be improving greatly.
Matt has adapted sessions well to be on video too and I now feel much more confident working out at home.
His friendly and personal approach make me feel more at ease in sessions too and I enjoy chatting with him between reps. I would recommend him to anyone whatever your goals and needs!

I’ve been training with Matt since early in 2021 and it’s been a genuine pleasure. Having trained with a few personal trainers in the past, some good, some bad, I was a little unsure about finding another. However, since the very first consultation, Matt has been brilliant. He took time to understand my goals, and has given me clear guidance and motivation throughout. The training sessions are well structured, and even during lockdown I feel I’ve been making real progress and achieving new goals each week. And above all Matt is a great guy - training sessions are fun, and always good to catch up...even if he is pushing you to train harder or lift heavier! When I contacted Matt and Ruben, I was looking to improve my energy levels and to tone up areas that had been stubbornly refusing to change. I already exercised regularly and had, what I thought, was a fairly healthy diet.
I have been training with Ruben for the last 8 weeks and it has been fantastic. He listened carefully to my goals and has really helped me to achieve them. He used his expert knowledge to make each session varied and fun, and to target the right areas. I genuinely noticed the difference in my body within 4 weeks and am over the moon with the results.

Love our weekly PT sessions with Matt. A friend and I have been attending joint PT sessions for just over 4 months now and can’t believe how much stronger we are getting already.
Matt is positive and upbeat and makes every session fun. I’m also very appreciative of Matt’s attention to detail, making sure my technique when lifting weights is 100% correct. I’m currently receiving physio for my back and Matt will tailor the exercises to ensure I can get the most out of each session, whilst protecting my back.

I started training again 6 months ago after a five year gap. Matt has been inspirational in getting me back into good habits, both in the gym and the dietary intake, the results have been hugely beneficial. The boxing routines I particularly enjoy, Matt's past experience in this sector is very reassuring when hitting the pads. Whilst I didn't carry a lot of excess body weight, the strength training has resulted in better muscle definition, plus a couple of notches off the belt! As a trainer Matt is punctual, very supportive and encouraging, plus a pleasure to work out with!

I started training with Matt whilst in lockdown - despite only ever doing online sessions I’ve made more muscle progress in 10 weeks than ever before. The workouts have given me more energy during the week and Matt is great at checking in and varying the exercises so that it’s never repetitive.
The additional nutrition sessions we had gave me much better knowledge for a novice like me and Matt has been great at amending the workouts to fit my goals.

My name is Alex, I’m a type one diabetic and aspiring bodybuilder. I came to Matt a bit of a sceptic if I’m perfectly honest; after years of failed diabetic care from the NHS I was beginning to think no one could help. Before I came to Matt I was having 4-5 hypoglycemic attacks a week. This soon changed after meeting Matt. He educated me on good nutrition to help with my diabetes as well as training tips both of which impacted my bodybuilding training and health in a massively positive way. However, the biggest change has been the lack of hypoglycemic attacks I’m having; I went almost 8 weeks without having an attack. I’m absolutely delighted with the results and just wished I had met Matt sooner.

Working with Matthew has helped me bring my blood sugar levels back under control. This resulted in my dr. confirming I was no longer at risk of diabetes. Matthew works with my friend who has cerebral palsy, and I attend the sessions to assist with getting him in and out of the wheelchair. During the sessions matthew is attentive and adpats his work to my friends specific physical needs. As a result I have seen him gain more strength and control with his muscle movements. I am training for the Berlin marathon and, as well as running, I ride for Deliveroo five nights a week and go to the gym. My body has never felt so much exercise and I habitually under-eat. Consequently I was like a zombie all week, barely able to function in the mornings. Matt explained how my body was reacting to its new regime, got me calorie counting and told me which foods to focus on. Armed with this knowledge and a way to measure my calorie intake I have given my body the fuel it needs and after a period of adjustment (which Matt predicted) I no longer bathe in sluggish moods: I am alert again and have more energy. Matt is currently helping me build a training plan for next year's marathon and without his input I think I would have given up for fear of never having any energy again. Thanks Matt!!

I have been working with Matthew gor a year now and the health benefits have been endless. I have been a Type 2 Diabetic for over 8 years, dependent on medication to control my blood sugars.
