I undertook the 8 week transformation challenge with Pete. It was the first time I had engaged with a personal trainer of any sort. It was tough to stay on track, with factors such as a toddler and a 3-month old, a job running a boarding house at a senior school, and a trip to France over Christmas to see family all pulling me in the wrong direction with regards to building regular exercise and healthy eating into my routine.
I found Pete to be patient, helpful and encouraging, and I was really pleased with the results after 8 weeks. His nutrition advice was absolutely invaluable. I found the workouts that he set the right mix of tough, but also enjoyable and manageable, and the app he uses with you is really intuitive and helpful for keeping on track and seeing your progress.

Just finished an 8 week transformation with POC Fitness, and the result have been great. Having a busy lifestyle between shift work/long hours and family life, Pete's approach has been so beneficial considering both nutrition and exercise that is productive and gets results. Pete keeps you accountable and is available for when you need him. really can not recommend Pete and POC fitness coaching enough.
I had been injured and recovering from two lots of ankle surgery when I reached out to Pete for help. My work life involves lots of client entertainment, and coupled with the inactivity I had let myself go. Pete devised a programme that revolved around managing my injury and rehab whilst losing weight and gaining fitness, it also still included client lunches on occasion!

Pete is really a good instructor, motivated me all the time during my transformation program. He used to follow up almost every day abt my progress and also monitor my nutrition. Pete also gave one to one session whenever I requested which helped me get all the techniques correct l.

I have started an online training with Pete two months ago. My personal goal was to become healthier and stronger. All sessions are very motivating - for each exercise there is a suggestion of easier and harder way of doing it, which makes it easier if you haven't trained regularly for a while like me. Pete is a unique personal trainer because he genuinely cares about your well being. Most PT's I have worked with don't stay in contact with you, and move on when the money dries up, which is always unfortunate. Pete however has stayed in contact even when I'm not working with him.
Unfortunately as you get older, you need to look at how you can adapt your training, especially in terms of recovery.
Pete has always been able to balance, strength, high intensity and cardio training into my sessions. When you are injured he is always on hand to give you tips on stretching and mobility. If you are looking for a PT who cares about your long-term well being, then Pete is your man. I wish him all the best success in the future.

He's great at putting together custom training plans and seems to have an inexhaustible set of exercises, stretches and techniques to choose from. POC Fitness transformed my life. I can’t recommend his skills and training program more. I was struggling with motivation and approached Pete to discuss my options. We decided to setup a 12 week plan with both gym and diet goals. The whole process was made so much easier knowing I had a professional expert looking over and monitoring my journey. I trained with Pete for two or three sessions a week, to deal with a specific and complex problem - a very painful lower back that had developed over a few years and had proved resistant to lots of other types of treatment. Pete understood the issue immediately, and devised a specific exercise and stretching plan in order to fix it. I must say I was skeptical at first, having done some similar exercises before, but Pete put a lot of energy and attention into training me to do the exercises correctly, which made a dramatic difference; It really is the benefit of having a skilled trainer. I've been training with Pete for over a year now. I was pretty active in terms of sports but had very little experience ( or discipline!) for toning, weights and other core and strength exercises. Pete's sessions are fun, with a good variety of exercises to match level of experience. He helps you to push yourself ( without feeling like you're in a military boot camp!) and I can really tell after a year of regular sessions that I'm much stronger and my posture has improved due to work outs with Pete. When I started out the training programme with Pete, my overall goals were to increase my strength and generally tone up. Pete designed a programme for me which was diverse, fun and just the right amount of challenging! It was great to track my progress and see how I was gaining strength weekly. I quickly noticed that I had toned up and having made some adjustments to my diet to actually eat more, Pete helped me drop 5% body-fat too. The programme made me fall in love with weights, feel so much more comfortable in the gym and see where my diet was getting in the way of my goals. If anyone is looking to get fit for the summer I can't recommend Peter highly enough. He helped me last year get as fit as I have ever been thanks to showing me the correct techniques for doing the barbell squat and deadlift with a bad back and giving me a workout plan to fit around work and lifestyle. I am now doing the online coaching and am very happy with how Peter is available for questions and is always pushing me which is helping me keep the weight off with new plans and exercises that make training fun. I highly recommend Pete as a personal trainer. I had issues with my hips and now need a hip replacement. I was coached by Pete since 2016 interrupted only by lockdown. He pushed me whilst respecting limits. He is attentive to injury. Built a personal programme which he varied and built on as we progressed. Listened to my goals and trained appropriately. I tend to book blocks of training according to my goals. He doesn't yell / check phone whilst training or get distracted by mates whilst I'm working. The bottom line is WE GOT RESULTS!

I did the 60day weight lost plan with Pete.
I was pretty apprehensive about doing it as i wasnt sure if id be able to stick to it. I have 4 kids and a pretty hectic lifestyle, plus we had just moved home, but i thought if i didnt do something now i would just continue down the “easy snacking”, and finishing of my girls tea routine that id fallen into.
My main goals were to get back into some sort of exercise routine, and to get healthier and feel good about myself again.
Pete understood this, and sorted out a training plan that was suitable for me, and took extra care into what i could do as our youngest was 3 months when i signed up.
I was given good advice on what would benefit me best nutritionally, and what lifestyle changes i should consider. Again Pete took into account i was breast feeding so advised me with that aswel.
My biggest challenges were stopping being a human waste disposal, and planning my meals and basically just stocking my cupboards with the right snacky kinds of foods.
Iv seen a huge change in me physically, and i feel so much better for it. The way i eat now has been really enjoyable, as iv discovered some yummy new things aswel, but lifestyle wise its been great for the whole family.
I lost 7kgs over the 60 days, and that was even with me totally falling of the training plan the final couple of weeks due to hectic family/ work life.

I have so much to say about how amazing Peter has been helping me get back on track with my health, exercise and well being. I joined Peter's online programme just before christmas and have really appreciated all his time and support with getting me motivated again and looking after myself.
To start I was unsure what I could actually fit into my daily routine at the moment and, even with a few mini life bumps along the way, I feel I'm on the path to getting myself back to a level of basic fitness. This is all being done at home around the busy routine of my 3 young children.
