I started training with Kes at the beginning of 2022 hoping that the right coach could help me achieve handstand before my 43rd birthday a year later. I'm so glad I did, because handstand was just the beginning. First and foremost, training with Kes is so much fun, she's helped me find my way back to the kind of movement I loved when I was a kid chucking myself around the backyard. We've worked on freestyle skipping, handstand/calisthenics and strength training and all the confidence, courage and playfulness that goes with it. My strength and flexibility have gone through the roof and I feel amazing. Calisthenics with Kes is one of the best time and money investments I've ever made into myself, I can't recommend her highly enough.

When I first started training in April I had a few physical issues from work related posture and old injuries where I had lost strength. In the time Kes has been coaching me I’ve seen a huge improvement and not had any more problems. Kes really understands what you want to achieve and makes realistic goals that are fun and manageable. Her knowledge in body weight training, calisthenics and skipping is invaluable. If you want professional, fun and down to earth training then I really recommend getting some training sessions in. I can’t believe how much progress I’ve made with my handstands and skipping in 6 months and Its definitely down to how the sessions are lead.

Kes is amazing! I have been working with Kes once a week for about 2 months on strength, flexibility, freestyle skipping and handstands. I have noticed some improvement every week and have finally got the hang of double-unders and am making real progress with handstands after not getting anywhere with them on my own. As an amateur aerialist I was initially unsure whether the sessions would be worth the cost compared to cheaper group aerial classes, but it has been 100% worth it and I'm so glad I gave it a go - it has helped me so much working towards my specific goals. Kes is brilliant at her job, she gives really useful tips that make a massive difference, is so supportive and non-judgemental. It's also a nice environment to train outside rather than in a gym and I enjoy every session - even in the rain!

I cannot recommend Kes enough! She is a fantastic PT, very patient, energetic and committed. I could see a huge difference in my training after doing only a few sessions, particularly in core and strength exercises, handstands and cali foundations. She makes every session to be different, fun, and enjoyable - a truly amazing coach!

I love working with Kes. She is motivating, understanding and delivers great results. Bodyweight training is a varied and challenging way to build strength and skills that I have found to be more enjoyable than standard gym sessions lifting weights. Kes is very knowledgable and has really helped to build my confidence in developing skills by making sure the training is safe and that I understand how to practice safely alone. She is thoughtful and conscious of any issues, adapting exercises where needed to suit skill/strength level or pains and discomfort.
I came to Kes 3 years after getting back into weight training following several years of injuries and life getting in the way. I had found that weight training had lost its thrill for me and was causing me some pain around my old injuries. In the switch to calisthenics training the pain has gone and, far from losing any of my strength, I have gained more. I have also developed exciting and fun skills which challenge me in new ways (and look awesome).
Cannot recommend Kes or calisthenic training enough!

Training with Kes has been fantastic. I have already achieved more than I thought I could and Kes continues to help me push myself and reach for my goals. Sometimes progress is slow but there is always noticeable progress and Kes is always quick to point out that progress and encourage me to take things further. I have become a lot stronger since working with Kes and she really takes time to explain and demonstrate and will always answer my questions about technique or what my body is doing. Would highly recommend training with Kes, since beginning training I have become far more confident and comfortable with my body and my abilities.

Absolutely loving my training sessions with Kes! Having been unable to exercise for a while due to an injury, I wanted a personal trainer who would be able to adapt to my specific needs whilst also making the sessions creative and fun. Kes has done both and I really enjoy the holistic blend of her flexibility, strength and balance training. It's getting me fit whilst keeping me interested! After 2 months I already feel well on my way to my first pull up and pistol squat - goals I never thought I'd be able to reach. I also really value the attention Kes gives to technique and how she takes the time to explain why we are focusing on certain things. Can't recommend highly enough.

Best training I've ever had! Kes is helping me progress quickly in building strength and technique that I've always found to be a bit of a mystery, and I'm really pleased with the results. Bodyweight training has been a particular help during lockdown as I can do it in my bedroom with minimal equipment, and Kes helps keep me pushing forward with suitable homework. Super positive and fun to train with, which makes training so much more enjoyable, and she's great at keeping my form and technique healthy which means I can push myself without fear of injury. Highly recommend!

I can't recommend Kes highly enough!! Kes has always tailored our sessions towards my goals of becoming a stronger runner - I feel more powerful and stable as a result of her hard work. With the perfect amount of support, Kes has also got me trying out handstands, and being able to do full body push ups! The sessions are fun and flexible and Kes always checks in with how you're feeling on the day.
As someone who wasn't completely sold on personal training before trying it out with Kes (but then was hooked by the first session), I would definitely say go for it!!

Started working with Kes in September because I wanted to explore weight training and getting to grips with form and technique so I could (one day) feel confident in the weight section of the gym. We have been working on my weighted dead lift/squat techniques as well as some flexibility work and stretches. I’ve been enjoying the sessions so much and feel a lot stronger/more confident with my technique and general ability. Kes is very supportive and patient - she definitely believes in me a lot more than I do! She’s also very good at explaining movements in a clear and simple way so has a very accessible way of teaching. I have really been enjoying the sessions and would definitely recommend Kes.

Kes is just excellent! She has had her work cut out with me as I have several injuries that need accommodating as I head towards my goals of improved strength and flexibility but she has been amazing at supporting them. Handstands, pull ups and press ups all feel within reach now. I love my sessions and look forwards to them all week and the Homework plans keep me moving in the right direction in between.

I will honestly rave about Kes to anyone who will listen! She is a knowledgeable, inclusive, patient and all round brilliant PT. We've worked together in both face to face and online sessions with a focus on improved mobility, flexibility, balance and bodyweight strength. Achievements have included building back up to a full body press up after a number of months' hiatus and building good form in dynamic "flow" movements. In recent months we've also looked at nutrition via a 12 week programme which I would recommend to anyone who's looking to revisit their relationship with food in a positive, non-judgemental and totally balanced way (no diet culture BS here). I think above all Kes has never stopped believing in me and supporting me even when I feel totally rubbish. If you're looking for support on your fitness journey (whatever that looks like), please do give her a shout - you won't regret it!

I do bodyweight and nutrition coaching with Kes and they’ve really changed how I feel about my body and fitness. We have weekly sessions where we go through a range of exercises tailored to my interests and what I want to work towards. I started off not being able to do a single press up or squat and now can do this and much more! I can highly recommend Kes. I wasn't sure what to think of personal training but it's definitely worth it. She tailors the programme to you - I'm personally loving learning to do handstands and to freestyle skip! I can also do a few push ups now which I never thought I'd be able to do. She's great at tracking progress and keeping you motivated. I'm enjoying feeling stronger, fitter and more flexible than I have for years!

I've been doing remote video sessions with Kes for most of the pandemic, with a focus on strength training and body weight exercises. She's really helped to build up my confidence in what my body can do, as a fat woman who didn't exercise much - she's really understanding and gentle and encouraging. Even when I can't do something, she just breaks it down another step until we find something I can do, and then she builds up from there.
If you're at all unsure about training, or feel like maybe it's not for you or you can't do it, as someone who was all of those things, I can't recommend Kes highly enough!

I am an ex ballet dancer and now teacher. For the last 8 years I have suffered from foot,knee,hip and back pain. I started training with Kes 3 months ago and already my pain has eased. I have gained more strength and flexibility and my stamina whilst teaching has increased.
