Mark is extremely knowledgeable not only in JKD and the Filipino martial arts but in a host of others as well. He's able to explain things in a way that makes them both understandable and memorable, and tailors sessions to my specific goals so I'm not just working through a syllabus but developing the skills and attributes that give me the outcomes I want - and having fun while I'm doing it! Working with Mark I've seen my skills improve drastically, and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for martial arts training.

Over the past 6 months Mark has managed to turn a raw beginner (having never lifted a weight in my life) into someone who loves it! Mark has great knowledge, is super encouraging and really empathetic. If ever I'm not feeling a lift he's always urging me on but also knows when to call a set so i get the most out of my sessions. Weight training feels quite intimidating to get into as a woman but Mark has given me so much confidence, explaining technique and the rationale behind different lifts. Definitely works if you commit to your work out programme, Mark helped me lose a stone and a half for a friends wedding my goal was 2 stone but we were a bit tight on schedule but still trying to push off those last few pounds, definitely recommended to anyone looking to do the same.
