Isidora has given me advice on two separate occasions one related to a ankle injury and another relating to lower back and hip pain on both times Isidora has given me great advice that has helped ease the pain fast and the pain become almost non existent. My most recent back pain had been bugging me on and off for a month or so meaning I couldn’t do the sport I love but with Isidora’s advice I was back skating as much as I wanted within a week! Would definitely recommend as she really knows her stuff! She is also very friendly and easy to talk with which is great! Thank-you Isidora :)

I went to see isidora with back pain from my job as a builder. I can’t rate the sessions enough. Great variety of exercises, knowledge and training method. I’ve seen many specialists over the years and often come away still carrying the injury. I wish I had met isidora a long time ago.

Isidora is such a fantastic in-house coach at Bristol Co-Operative Gym where I have trained with her for the past year, so I decided to do some PT.
I’ve never done PT before, and I’m not a big fan of training in a regular gym environment. I had some specific goals I wanted to achieve, such as being able to do an overhead squat and front squat which I have never been able to do very well.
Isidora’s sessions are at Synergie, which is a really relaxed training environment where other PT’s are working with clients. There only ever seems to be a handful of other people training, so it never feels very cramped or intimidating. Isidora explores your goals, and is very creative in thinking about ways to get there, something she really takes joy in. She is also very conscious of making sure your body is prepared for movements, and that you’re comfortable. I always come away from the sessions buzzing, and feeling like I’ve learned new things about my bodies, and pushed it in new ways.
Isidora is extremely good at picking out ‘stuck points’ I have, and finding an infinite amount of exercises and tweaks to try and unpick the stuckness. We would work on these, and then keep moving closer and closer towards doing squats. Sometimes we’d find an area that I was still struggling with, and then we’d go back to the mats and find another mobility exercise or drill to tweak it again. I’m now able to do a pretty solid front and overhead squat after a handful of sessions with Isidora! I’m excited about continuing PT with Isidora regularly to keep checking in with my body, and to keep moving my fitness goals forward.

I've been working with Isidora for nearly a year now. I started off in pain and struggle with my balance. I now understand where my balance comes from and am surprising myself and my friends with what I'm capable of. I've learnt a huge amount about how I learn, embodiment and also build strength and coordination. Isidora is one of the best PT coaches i have trained with and i have trained with a lot in the past since i have been into sports from very young. What distinguishes her is the ability to 'feel' your goals and motivation needs and build from there on.
It's been great attending Isidoras' online classes where i have the opportunity to train from home twice a week so that i can always have the flexibility and motivation to go on about doing my favorite sports. What is also incredible is her anatomy and inner body workings knowledge regarding some injuries i had in the past that we managed to figure out and work through so that they seized to be a problem. I managed to be up and running in a couple of months following her advises and classes after a long period of not doing much. My energy now is on a different level and i have become more social and present. People ask me what is my secret and i just say that i have discovered a new chapter in my life.
It feels great to trust someone that can understand you and that will always push you to your limits in being a better you. I would recommend her to train you as she naturally rises to the challenge on customizing your training according to your needs and bringing a lot of diverse exercises to the table so that you always feel excited to attend her classes. I feel privileged having her in my life and lucky that i found her.

No matter how hard I worked on my own I was feeling that flexibility was my problem. Without even saying it Isidora identified that I needed to address this in a new way and the PT sessions with Isidora have directly improved my balance and fluidity of movement. I met Isi at a point when I had never been to a gym before and didn't believe I could ever do sports. I have been working out with her for almost 2 years now and couldn't be happier. She made me feel at ease and really took time to hear me out and understand my needs and puts a lot of time into designing bespoke programmes which help me meet my goals, a rare quality in personal trainers. She also is very encouraging and makes me feel good about my progress however small and wants me to keep going. I started PT classes with Isidora last year and it was the greatest gift I could have made to my lower back. I've been dealing with disk issues for 3 years now. From day 1 Isi was determined help me strengthen and gain my flexibility but also my confidence back. She did a thorough research, kept looking for new exercises to try to make our course more interesting. She has always been patient with me but also encouranged me to listen to my body and push the limit a little further each time.
I honestly would have never imagined I would be able to run or lift weights again. I should also say that I was doing the PT class with my bf so she had to work even harder to slightly alternate our programs in order to make them fit to our personal needs.
So if you're looking for a personalised training program from a person who is highly skilled, motivated and inspiring, look no further. She is ACE! :)

I have been training with Isi for about 18 months.
I started with group sessions she used to run at Bristol Co-operative Gym. When those lunchtime sessions closed, I began doing 1:1 training with her. During lockdown, we worked on Zoom and I experienced the same level of attention from Isi as I had in person.
I started exercising because I wanted to improve my overall fitness. As I am in my early 60s, I wanted to try and keep myself as healthy as possible.
I didn't come with specific goals, and Isi was fine with that! However, it soon became clear which areas needed the most attention, for example my core stability and balance. These have greatly improved over the past year.
Isi is very responsive to what is going on in a lesson - she comes with a plan but doesn't stick to it rigidly. If I have difficulty in doing a particular exercise, she will identify which component needs to be practised first, as a way of building up to doing the whole movement. Isi is also endlessly creative at finding different ways to tackle my fitness needs.
With Isi's help I have made great progress: my memories of demoralising 'gym lessons' at school have faded away. Isi is always so encouraging, even when giving advice on how to improve. She is very person-centred and attuned to my specific needs and learning style. We also have a good laugh!
