Sara has been our personal trainer for 2 years. It is the best thing we ever did! My husband and I have very different requirements from our sessions and Sara manages them brilliantly to ensure we get the very best out of each hour. She has the ability to motivate in a very natural, kind and effective way. I have very specific technical needs from the sessions: they must incorporate physiotherapy and be complementary to my dance training. Sara has both helped me manage my spinal condition and helped achieve massive improvements in my dance technique, core strength and physical stamina. I would not hesitate to recommend Sara to anyone. If you are thinking of a PT session with her – go for it!

I was nervous about starting Metafit after not doing exercise for a while! As soon as I met Sara I felt at ease and I have loved every class I have attended since! The classes are challenging but manageable and work on different areas of the body. I have suffered with back pain for many years, Sara has supported me to gain strength through adapting the exercises to suit me personally - after several weeks I have gained enough strength to do them all fully. Sara's classes are motivating and hard work and I would recommend them to anyone!

I have been having regular Personal Training with Sara for the past year. Initially, I was very nervous about attending, so was very relieved to find that Sara is very friendly and far removed from the intimidating image I'd had of Personal Trainers! With Sara's guidance, I have lost weight, become noticeably stronger and continue to see improvements with every session.
Sara is very good at adapting exercises to suit your ability, should that be impaired by injury or health conditions. I'd particularly recommend her to anyone who, like myself, has long struggled with so-called beginners' routines and is left feeling that they just can't 'do' exercise. Sara will show you the way!

I am a 52 year old man, I have had regular personal training sessions with Sara; twice a week for over a year now. In that time I have reduced my weight by 1 stone and its stayed off, and my body fat reading has dropped by a considerable amount. My belt size has reduced by 4" and I am very happy with my improved muscle definition thanks to Sara's guidance. She listens to you, and takes your personal goals on board, and adapts sessions to suit needs. If you are looking for personal trainer I absolutely recommend Sara James!

I have been going to Sara's classes for over three years now, mixing the circuit training class and the Metafit class. Sara is an excellent trainer, and her friendly classes are tailored to individual levels, offering alternative exercises if you have an injury etc. She quietly encourages you to push yourself and encourages you to reach any personal goals. I can recommend either class, both are great work outs, Metafit is a crazy, shorter but incredible work out! I recently took part in Sara's 8 week diet and fitness plan, which, along with her classes, included weekly weigh-ins, diet advice with recipes and the dreaded food diary to fill in (which really makes you think about what you are eating!) I saw some great results, I'm very grateful for the help and encouragement along the way! If you are wanting a good local class, whatever your current level of fitness, I can recommend Sara James Fitness. Ruth

I loved doing Tone with Tots with Sarah. She has been very supportive and lets you work at a pace that is challenging and appropriate to your needs. I already feel fitter and stronger from doing her class and would highly recommend this or any other of Sarah's classes.
