Meg is professional, inspirational, hugely knowledgeable and passionate about health, wellbeing, nutrition and fitness. My mindset and relationship to food and exercise has changed considerably and I now feel I have made lifestyle changes and it's not a fad I cannot keep up. I was gifted 2 sessions from a colleague who has had Meg as a PT for years. For some background, I had never gone into gym or lifted weights before seeing Meg. At the end of the 2nd session, amongst other things I had managed to do reps on a weighted deadlift! This is something I never would have expected to be able to do and Meg not only taught me how to do it but instilled the confidence in me to do it.
Meg is absolutely fantastic and even in just two sessions has made such an impact both technically (e.g. learning the proper technique for moves) and mentally. It has given me more confidence in myself and has meant that I signed up for a gym. Previously I would have been too nervous to go in to a gym, let alone consider a class or weights.
In addition to all of that, I had so much fun with Meg! As soon as I stepped foot in the gym she put me at ease. Her style makes you feel excited to try new things, she has fantastic analogies to make techniques easy to remember and made me laugh throughout the session.

My story:
At the time of receiving a gift of six months’ worth of PT from Megan, I was already training five days per week, thoroughly enjoying it, and any wishes to be particularly bigger, faster, stronger or lighter had long gone. I was 64 years of age, had been training pretty seriously for 50 years and genuinely doubted that I would justify or do justice to any investment on a PT.
I am delighted to say that I was wrong.
Megan’s focus from the beginning has been on what my goals are, which are more about how I felt, moved and interacted with my life than the traditional goals of weight loss, personal bests, shifted inches and high energy. Yes, it would be great if they came along as a by-product of the project, but the priority for me was about how I felt and moved.
I had tried to discuss that concept with multiple trainers in the past, and they would invariably tell me that my focus should be the other way round and that feeling good would come as a result. They simply didn’t (or couldn’t) understand that for me, I could never be as fast, powerful or as fit as I had been 30 years ago without a total change in lifestyle that I’m simply not interested in making.
To me, trying to get near to my levels of performance of 30 years ago could at very best only leave me feeling as if I was failing to reach a previously attained level. On the other hand, if I felt more confident within myself, I would be achieving something that I had never previously felt realistic. Working with Megan, I am making that happen.
Within two sessions, we had agreed an approach that I was happy with. Megan had listened to and understood what my true goals and motivations were and designed a programme to help me to get there. In the exercise sessions, she got me to focus on form and introduced minor tweaks that had almost immediate positive impacts; in the nutrition sessions, the focus was discussion and her well-informed explanations of how things worked in the body.
There were also multiple mindset sessions where we were able to discuss different approaches and ponder explanations. She’s one of those people who enjoys exploring and learning so she can enhance her knowledge to pass on to others. That makes it easy to work with her.
The approach worked well with me and after a couple of weeks’ testing and getting used to things, I started to notice definite improvements. That was unexpected so quickly.
Six months on and I have been delighted with the results. I can feel (and, I am delighted to say, can see) improvements in every aspect we discussed at the start, and I can also see a path forward on how I can continue to enhance the way I feel.
I could probably write a book on this subject. I won’t. Instead, I’ll make my commitment to have Megan as a PT for the foreseeable future.
It’s the best investment I’ve made in decades.

I trust her judgment on how hard she pushes me at each session i.e I'm never too sore to function in the days after like I would be if I was doing this without her guidance. I've been training with Meg since February 2021 and have seen a huge difference in my appearance and a massive improvement in my fitness and strength. Best of all I actually enjoy my exercise now. Being an older woman (65), I was losing muscle fast and assumed this was a normal part of life. But I've discovered it needn't be, that it's not only possible to stop the loss, but to actually build muscle as you age. The combination of personal training and nutritional guidance makes this achievable.
Having never run before in my life, I now love it and can comfortably run 5k three times a week with the occasional 10k thrown in. I never ever thought I'd say I love running!

Meg is truly a professional personal trainer who brings so much fun to all of her sessions. Meg will give her time to every single one of her clients to make sure she adapts every training style to them personally, as there are so many different fitness levels out there. I have been going to Megan’s classes since the beginning and cannot imagine my life without them. My fitness has improved immensely, my personal achievement is now being able to do full press ups. Something I could only dream of before, that’s all thanks to Megan teaching me the proper form and was routing for me and continued to push me each time I failed. Megan loves seeing her clients achieve new goals and will support you in every way she possibly can. We have all become great friends through the classes and Meg makes any beginners feel super welcome, we are all there to support one another. Not only have I lost all my weight before I was pregnant, the confidence I've gained since joining Megan's classes is huge.
Since I've been training with Flourish Fit I've completed a 10k Race for Life and I completed my first ever Half marathon. Something I always wanted to do and was too scared to do.

I highly recommend Flourish Fit PT. I have had PT sessions with Megs for a few months now and I am feeling so much happier.

I can’t recommend Flourish Fit PT enough. Every week we do a variety of exercises that are both fun and helps keep us fit. Meg is a fantastic coach! Not only do I feel completely at ease with her, she is both supportive and a strong motivator, who encourages us to push ourselves. The classes she offers are great from HIIT, to boxercise, and can accommodate any level of ability from beginner to intermediate. I’ve been attending Flourish Fit classes now for over a year. I had a baby and of course my cravings went too far. I put on a lot of weight which made me so unconfident and so unfit. So I decided to do something about it. I was so nervous on my first class. I thought people would look at me because i was fat. But that’s all far from the truth.
Meg has made me feel at ease from the start. She has given me everything Ive wanted. My body confidence is better than its ever been, I’m fitter than I’ve ever been. Her classes are perfect for any beginners. She makes you feel at ease but pushes you enough to work at your level. My favourite class is circuits. Everyone is so friendly and it’s also great fun.
I’ve now lost over 2 and half stone because of Megan. And I want to thank her for everything she has done for me. I recommend flourish fit to anyone who wants their confidence and fitness back!!

I've been using Flourish Fit since July 2020 as I felt it was about time I took control of my physical wellbeing having never felt at peak fitness and hurtling my way towards 40 years old with two young children and a limited amount of time during my working week. The main things Meg has taught me is that weight has very little (if any at all) indication to fitness and health and after a couple of disheartening months loosing little on the scales I began to notice big differences in my progress photos which meant changes were happening. I've also discovered that my calorie intake and 'types of foods' were pretty dreadful and we have spent a lot of time making little changes to my eating habits which has had a huge impact on my energy levels, muscle repair and general wellbeing. I would 100% recommend Flourish Fit as a PT. The online side of things makes it flexible, convenient and easy to keep track of everything and I love that each step is working towards a long term, life changing goal which not only has an impact on your physical fitness but also your emotional wellbeing too.
