I used to go to the gym years ago, but I had lost my confidence and put on weight during lockdown. I had never had a personal trainer & was a bit apprehensive but Kirsty made it fun and I rediscovered a love for working out! She visited me at home and we worked out in my garden throughout the summer. She always put in lots of effort to tailor workouts to me, I don’t like to do high impact or jumping around exercises as my knees can be sore, so my workouts were designed around them. Kirsty has such a bright, fun approach but is also sympathetic to how I was feeling each week and changed my workouts to suit me. She helped me make small changes to my food choices and my habits and by the end of the summer Kirsty had helped me regain my confidence & get in shape, I’d lost a stone and felt good enough to rejoin a proper gym again. I can’t recommend Kirsty enough, she really cares about your progress and goes the extra mile to help you get where you want to be. Thank you Kirsty!

I started training with Kirsty after seeing the amazing progress my wife made with her.
She has got the best out of both of us while making the sessions enjoyable and fun too. She has built up our strength and confidence, more than we ever thought possible.
Thank you Kirsty!

I reached out to Kirsty earlier this year following a post I had seen on Facebook and after admitting to myself that I wasn't happy with my post-baby body - I wanted to be a stronger, fitter and all-round healthier Mum. I'm so glad I messaged Kirsty when I did, she has absolutely transformed the lives of my family and I.
My husband and I train with Kirsty weekly, during our personalised sessions we also look at meal prep and nutrition which has been incredibly helpful and has challenged our relationship with food.
Kirsty is always encouraging and helps to keep us focused and motivated. The sessions are completely personalised to meet our needs, reach our goals and focuses on our general health and wellbeing.
Highly recommend Kirsty to anyone and everyone!

I signed up at Tough Love Training because I was in great pain with arthritis in both knees and was on a waiting list for surgery. I've been seeing Kirsty every week for more than a year now, and have hugely increased strength and mobility, can walk without pain and have indefinitely deferred the surgery. I'm happy to think that this new regime has really changed my life and health, and kept me out of a wheelchair. I'd massively recommend Kirsty and Tough Love Training :)

I really can’t recommend Kirsty at Tough Love Training enough. I’ve been with her for over a year with 3 sessions a week and I am a changed person.
As an overweight 50 year old I didn’t feel I wanted to join a gym so this was a great option for me. I’m not the most motivated person in the world so need encouragement and someone else motivating me and I get that, and then some from Kirsty. She reminds me from time to time what I was like when I started - finding over head presses with 3KG a struggle and squatting using rings to help me up. I now use 20kg on a good day and can spring up from a squat like a 5 year old. Not only does she train me physically but her nutrition knowledge is vast and so extremely helpful along side the training.
I never feel it’s about the money with Kirsty. It feels like she gets as excited about my progress as I do, just because she wants me to succeed for myself so I feel healthier and stronger.
Now I’ve hit the menopause I keep reading about how important strength training and diet is to help with symptoms and to generally assist your body through a blinking tough time, so I’m a bit smug I’d already started.
So if you are looking for an enthusiastic, motivational PT to help you become a stronger and healthier you, I can’t see why you would choose anyone else.
