I have trained with Andy for several years now both in the gym and online. He has given me amazing confidence in the gym through both improving my technique and helping me understand what I’m doing and why. Andy has a great approach that is easy to follow and is great at tailoring to each client and makes sure you enjoy your training.

I was quite anxious about working out because I tend to injure myself while doing exercises on my own. It didn’t help that I found the gym in general quite intimidating.
Just a few weeks in with Andy, I lost weight and became stronger. I was a lot more comfortable being in the gym outside of my sessions with Andy because he’s so insistent on proper technique.
Andy’s incredibly supportive even when you talk to him outside of sessions. The great thing about Andy’s programme is that he takes an all-rounded approach where he even helped me with things like establishing better sleep hygiene.
I would definitely recommend Andy to anyone who is considering taking on a PT. He’s passionate about his work and genuinely wants to see you succeed.

I highly recommend training with Andrew. Andrew has helped me realised that weight loss is not only about workout and nutrition.. Stress levels and sleep also plays a huge role here. I have received so much resources with a training plan and stuff and its so much easier for me to come back to it if necessary. I used to be so confused about which muscles to work on / how many calories etc, but now I am more confident as its not as hard as I thought.
If you are looking for a PT who except from coaching you to achieve your goals, can also teach you this stuff, so you could workout on your own, you'll be in good hands.

Before working with Andy I used to think I ate pretty healthy and my work outs in the gym were sufficient in helping me achieve my goals. After talking through my goals with Andy I couldn’t have been further from that, my diet and portion sizes with food were all over the place and my workouts weren’t targeting the muscle areas I wanted to build.
Andy sorted me with a programme to do over 3 days fitting in around my work and football and helped educate me around my nutrition to support my goals.
Overall I would highly recommend Andy to anyone looking for a supportive Personal Trainer who motivates you to achieve your goals, he is very knowledgeable and will educate you in nutrition and training effectively whether it’s gym or home work outs. I especially like the fact Andy that throughout lockdown when unable to go to the gym and found my mood being affected by this that he kept me motivated through his videos on how to keep up my training at home and stuff I could use round the house as equipment to aid this.

Andy is an excellent PT, who I would recommend to anyone looking to improve any aspect of their health, strength, fitness and general well-being.
I have worked with a number of different PTs over the years. Andy stands out as one of the best. I use the gym as one of a few different resources to stay strong and fit (in relative terms, of course!). On our first meeting, Andy conducted a thorough review of my then current conditioning and assessment of my then current goals, to set up a gym program to suit. Throughout our training sessions, the program has been refreshed and kept updated to meet my changing goals, for example, when I was training for the National Fitness Games in Loughborough in 2019 - when, incidentally, I achieved a PB in my deadlift, so some proof, if any is needed!
Andy has kept good records of my progress throughout, which have served as a great reference point to track improvement in general strength and conditioning. I prefer an analytical style to my tuition, and find that Andy delivers in that respect, with his evident technical knowledge and skills. Andy clearly demonstrates his enthusiasm for what he does, and desire to continue to develop his own knowledge, which he has willingly passed on to me.
Andy is also willing to offer his thoughts and guidance on diet and lifestyle - if asked for, of course, he has never imposed his views! I have always found these discussions between sets at the gym a valuable addition to continue to improve my own health.
Most importantly, Andy has contributed significantly to my now renewed enthusiasm for my own health and fitness, which I had lost for a while, but have rediscovered!
Thanks, Andy.

When I first started training with Andy a few years ago I had no confidence in the gym and I didn’t know how to get started with weight training as it seemed very intimidating for me. I used to come to the gym and run on the treadmill for a bit but training with Andy opened me up to a whole new world of strength training which I actually enjoyed and felt excited to carry on. Andy helped build my confidence and showed me that I could lift weights to achieve a more toned and more importantly a STRONGER self. My coaching sessions with Andy were always fun and each week I was constantly learning new exercises. Andy was always patient with me and helped improve my form so I was working the right muscles and also enabled me to push myself further than if I were training on my own. Andy was always on call to help with any nutritional struggles and helped work in nights and meals out in my plan which meant I did not have to stop doing and eating what I loved. I would recommend Andy to everyone, as he plans a specific approach to help deal with obstacles you may face and help smash your goals one after another. Even over lockdown Andy’s coaching helped me stay motivated and I even lost weight. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to be coached by Andy and I couldn’t have achieved half of what I did without him.

Andy helped me lose roughly a stone, keep my strength, and enjoy the process. All without gyms even being open!
I've been training for about 10 years so always put off getting a PT but the coaching experience was great. Helped me align my goals and stick to the plan whilst also learning a load of new things.
Really would recommend for all stages of training

I have worked with Andrew for almost 2 years and would highly recommend him as a PT. He is super knowledgeable on both the training and nutrition side. He has really encouraged me to look at these hand in hand and in a sustainable way where treats are allowed!! Before working with Andrew I stayed away from the weights areas but Andrew worked with me to build my strength and confidence, and I really saw my body transform. Thanks so much for all your support Andrew!

Before training with Andrew, I didn't have a plan and an end goal. I enjoyed going to the gym but was not getting most from it. Andrew changed all of this, before starting we discussed what I was looking to achieve and he was able to put together a plan to suit me. It didn't take long before I noticed results, I would not hesitate to reccomend Andrew Stewart Fitness to anyone.
