R. H.Having chosen Matt as the PT I’d like to go with due to lacking in confidence and knowledge in the gym, I can say with certainty that he has helped me to no end with both of these fears. Getting into the gym seems to be a mainly mental challenge - Matt will help you overcome this barrier with expert knowledge, patience and a genuine desire for you to succeed. If you’re a total novice like myself, have a bit of know-how or are more established it doesn’t matter - he’ll be the PT to help you. A genuinely good guy to boot too, I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

R. G.As a total novice to the gym, I was nervous and slightly anxious about starting my training journey. After extensive research of gyms and personal trainers in the West End of Glasgow, I decided that Matthew at PureGym Charing Cross would be the best person for the job. His profile showed his qualifications, experience, what he offered, and his own view of training and health; which was very useful in ensuring I found a PT that was right for me.
I emailed Matthew to enquire and he responded promptly and arranged a free consultation with him to discuss what I wanted to gain and what he could offer. He was very professional and personable, and gave me great confidence in starting the gym, even with me having no prior experience! I am a student and found his prices very reasonable, whilst maintaining a good quality service. He is encouraging, knowledgeable, and always is happy to help with any inquiries I may have, even out with sessions. I am now 3 months into going to the gym and loving it, all thank you to the great training and encouragement that Matthew provided me with!
Whether you are a novice like me, or a few years into training and are wanting a new routine or additional coaching, I cannot recommend Matthew highly enough!
