I’ve been a member at Reactive for a few years now and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to train in a really supportive environment. I’ve tried other gyms and exercising on my own, but have never enjoyed training as much as I do at Reactive. The classes are small and people are friendly, welcoming and supportive. The sessions are challenging, but each week you feel fitter and stronger.
Robert and John are always on hand to provide expertise, support and encouragement to enable everyone to reach their personal goals.

Very happy with this Gym. It's not like others I've used before. It's very personal and the atmosphere is very relaxed but focused. There are activities planned for inside and outside the gym, and a good social element to it. My favourite part is the fact that the workouts are pre-planned for you meaning there is little thought I need to put into it, I just do the workout safe in the knowledge that it's the correct thing to do. The coaching and training has been really beneficial to me. We do some technical lifts and getting help with my technique is great and has thankfully helped me avoid any injuries. I can see some real progress in the +6months I've been going and I'm looking forward to continuing my journey. Highly Recommended.

Joining was easily one of the best decisions ever. I never liked gym and went from time to time only because i felt that I had to because it’s good for me. Now, I actually LOVE it and it is thanks to Reactive Training. Cannot speak highly enough of both of the trainers who are just great and also all the members are a fun and warm bunch - it’s more of a community rather than strangers just gathering in a gym. I cannot recommend Reactive highly enough. I’ve been going for around four months now and have not only found myself getting stronger, but more confident too.
The staff are friendly, approachable and knowledgeable, and no question or query is too silly. They truly care about safety and making you feel comfortable and confident in yourself.
There’s such a community atmosphere, and a team-like essence to the place. With group events being organised out with the gym, like hiking, paddle boarding, and cycling.
If you’re apprehensive about joining a gym and want to build not only muscle but confidence, join Reactive :)

Thank you so much to Reactive Training. We brought a group of 23 girls (aged 10-12) through from Arbroath to watch netball at the Emirates Arena. Before going to watch the netball, we had organised for a group PT session for the girls at Reactive Training. What a super setup and an excellent and friendly trainer. The girls particularly loved the attempting the rings and the boxing. We will definitely be back if we are at the Emirates Arena in the future. Realy friendly bunch of people. I was nervous about joining a gym but was reasured on first visit by the support, comradery and general good vibe of the place. This was my first gym experience and thought i would be a duck out of water trying to get used to the techniques and equipment, but Robert was extremely helpful, aware of my limits, encouraging and spoke without judgement.
If you are nervous or shy about joining a gym because you think you might feel out of place, i cannot reccomend Reactive Gym and Robert enough. The sessions are a lot of fun, the staff and members are golden and ive found myself feeling much more motivated and better about myself.

In every class Robert always pays attention to everyone, people always help and push each other. Classes are coordinated and well-structured, while keeping in mind everyone's personal skills and limit. The atmosphere is great. This is by far the best gym in Glasgow!

Joined Reactive Training October/November last year after gaining a few stone over lockdown.
I was anxious at first at joining a gym as I was self conscious and scared I would look silly on the weights. However Robert (and the amazing group of people eho attend) quickly put my fears to rest.
Robert is professional and extremely knowledgable about fitness and nutrition. He took his time to get to know me and help develop my fitness and nutrition goals. There's no question too silly.
He ensures I know exactly what I'm doing with the weights and always pushes me to the best of my ability.
Robert has changed my focus from "losing weight" to "getting stronger" which in turn has helped me lose body fat. Together we develop 8 week goals to keep me on track.
The gym is well kitted out and each 8 week block covers big compound movements to help you get fitter and stronger. Robert is able to provide more challenge to those who need it and provide alternatives to those who struggle with particular moves.
Robert and the people who go really make this gym so much better than any other regular gym. The attention to detail and friendliness of everyone is second to none.

It’s so different from all the other gyms out there. Every class is different so you don’t know what your going into. Love going to this place. I've tried a couple of different gyms and fitness classes in the past but this is the first time I've gone to a gym of this type with weights etc. having previously tried spin class type things. The trainers have provided so much knowledge and help and everyone is so welcoming. The Myzone monitor is really helpful in keeping you working hard too. I've almost finished my first 6 week challenge and have lost 9.5 lbs so far and will definitely be doing more of the challenges - the body scans are also really useful and keep you going in the right direction. Everything is effective and sustainable and I've been surprised how quickly I've seen changes and feel better. Can't recommend Reactive enough!!

I did the four week trial and loved my time with the reactive team. All of the trainers are fantastic and happy to chat with you and offer any help you require. I lost 3lbs in the four weeks and 2% body fat which some people may think is not a lot, however my whole body overall was toned up and i was able to fit into my size 12 again. All the members are were warm and welcoming and made myself and my daughter feel like we were part of the reactive family. I would highly recommend Reactive training for anyone who wants to get fit and healthy and have the support of a fab group of ladies.

I did the 4 week free trial with Reactive Training and loved it. I've never seen such a change in my body in such a short space of time, and what's more I actually enjoyed it and only did 3 x 45 minute classes a week to see these results. The classes are so varied, every class I went to was different, and they were good fun, and I was pushed to work harder than I would if I attempted to train on my own. You are given guidance on nutrition and the group are encouraging and supportive and you share your meals which helps you stay on track. I have been attending Reactive Training for the past 4 weeks and my instructor Maria is amazing. She has been so patient with me and very encouraging. I joined Reactive Training because I thought if I didn't start now (in my fifties), I probably would just become a couch potato! I was nervous going along the first day, thinking I would be out of place, but we were all in the same boat. You work at your own level, and are encouraged to push yourself, we have a laugh and support each other. We are also given advice regarding eating properly. I have just signed up for another 6 months and I am loving it. I feel healthier and feel my outlook has changed, it was definitely a life changing decision. I first contacted Reactive Training after seeing an ad on facebook. I explained that I was sick of the fad diets and wanted to get back to my old self. I was so comfortable and everyone was so supportive, I loved my experience and time there, the staff are top quality and know how to make working out fun. I spotted Reactive Training on Facebook when I was feeling very down and upset with how I looked and felt. It took a while for me to sign up as I was very nervous to start and I knew I had lots to do when it came to my fitness, nutrition and my self confidence!! I was very scared on the first morning but the minute I arrived everything changed. I met Robert and Tommy and the other ladies who were just as worried as me! Since then I have improved my eating, lost inches, lost lots of body fat and I have also made friends and feel much better about myself. In this last month I have achieved more than all the other years of slimming clubs put together. Robert, Tommy and Maria are all so nice and although they push you they also support you and every session is fun as well as hard work!! I recently finished my two week FREE trial at reactive training. My experience was very positive making me look at food in a different way and enjoying a workout with people whom are there for the same reasons as myself. Robert, Maria and the other members gave great encouragement and support.
Unfortunately I could not sign up for reactive training as I have other commitments at this time for the monthly payments.
My disappointment to this experience is that I thought it was a FREE trial and thought I was following terms and conditions to receive my £70 deposit back. I am not getting deposit back due to me not checking in on facebook even though I posted meals on facebook each day, went to 8 classes and wrote 2 reviews. Just be aware when you sign up for FREE trial you ( check in) also to receive your deposit back .Very negative experience now.

Decided in November 2014 to try this and signed up for the 4 weeks trial which began on the 5th January - a New Year, a New Me! Slightly apprehensive on my first night, but Robert and Maria were so supportive - and everyone was there to improve their own wellbeing. From never having even seen a Kettlebell I was confidently swinging them at the end of the second week! The classes are never the same; circuits, boxing, kettlebells: even Yoga! The nutrition aspect of the trial worried me slightly, however it was a great boost to see everyone's photos and ideas on the Nutrition page. So - what did it do for me? I've now lost 8 pounds, and have a good reduction in not only my body fat but also my overall BMI. I've signed up for three months and am now confident in achieving my target - to be a fitter, leaner, not so creaky me throughout 2015 with vastly improved nutrition habits. Warning - attendance WILL result in a new wardrobe ;)

Hesitantly joined in July 2013. The reason being that I thought I was too outta shape and felt intimated about joining any bootcamp, couldn't have been more wrong (not about my fitness level though 😆). The trainers and other campers made me feel so comfortable from my first session and altho it was tough i kept coming back for more (no pain no gain) & 7 months on im addicted. Nearly at the end of my four week trial and have enjoyed the whole experience. I came across it on Facebook and wondered if it was a scam till I checked out the reviews - now I'm adding my own! Have learned more about nutrition and have NEVER done so much exercise in my life.
I am by nature pretty lazy and was trying to work out which classes I could miss and still qualify for the free trial, at the start. I attended 15 out of 16 classes and missed one only because I was held up at work.
The classes have great variety and Maria and Robert make sure your is right technique and won't cause you injury. They encourage rather than push you.
I lost weight, my body fat and BMI have dropped, my clothes feel looser and I can feel some fledgling muscle starting to grow and tone - my 'bingo wings' are shrinking too!
The classes are fun and supportive - I would recommend it to anyone who is ready to make a change in their overall fitness and health.

As soon as I stepped through the door at the gym I was welcomed by Robert. The women that were there that night all came over to say hello. Almost at the end of my 2 week trial and already I have lost 6 pounds and lowered both my body fat level and BMI. I wasn't sure what to expect when I started but I have really enjoyed the experience and have surprised myself by what I have achieved. The training is a mix of exercise and nutrition. The exercise varies from session to session and I have tried everything from boxing to working with kettle bells. The variety means it never gets boring - there is always something to keep you on your toes. When it comes to the nutrition you are encouraged to post your meals on a private Facebook page. This allows the trainers to keep track of your nutrition and helps you to get meal ideas from other members. You are also given a recipe book to help get you started. The trainers are Robert and Maria. I cannot stress how helpful they are, both in the sessions and through Facebook. They are always available to answer any queries and give advice. During the classes they are on hand to monitor your progress, help improve your techniques and to give you encouragement. They are very motivational but more importantly, down to earth. They will push you to give your best and adapt exercises if required. The other members are also very welcoming and supportive. They are very patient with the "newbies" and happy to share their advice and stories. Would highly recommend coming along and trying the group. You will certainly feel the benefit.

I saw a post on my facebook page looking for women over a certain age, who wanted to loose two dress sizes, so I applied. I completed my 4 week trial period at the end of September, and the results where awesome. The support and encouragement I received from Robert, Maria and Tommy during this period was second to none, the sessions are varied and fun, and discovered that I actually like boxing, with training in the park a whole new expereience for me. I have received invaluable information from ensuring my technic is right during training to nutrition. Trying something new is always a daunting expereience for everyone, but the other members made me feel very welcome from day one. I lost 7 1/2 lbs, and 3 inches of my waist in 4 weeks. This whole expereience has boosted my confidence and I know that Robert is there should I need any advice in the future. I have just finished my 28 day trial and would recommend Reactive Training to others. Prior to the trial, my "go to" snacks were toast, crisps, biscuits and chocolate and I was bored by my own cooking, regularly making the same dishes and not really enjoying them. In the past month I have thought about food in a completely different way and changed my eating habits for the better. I have only felt hungry a couple of times, have had more energy and have really enjoyed cooking meals from scratch again. The advice and recipe ideas/inspiration provided, together with seeing the type of meals that others are preparing, has been really helpful.
I have been very impressed with the level of support and encouragement provided by Robert and Maria - the response time to any queries is excellent and the blogs provide sound advice which I can identify and empathise with, i.e. no short term fix or instant solution, no daft fads, just sensible eating and the right kind of exercise.

On the 7th January 2013 I started to follow the reactive nutrition plan! May 2013 I joined several women I had never met before and spent the weekend with them on a residential bootcamp weekend! Awsome! By the 3rd June 2013 had decided to go all out and join the actual bootcamp! By Christmas I had dropped two dress sizes and I still cant believe it, lowered my BMI and got my high blood pressure down to normal. Heres to 2014 its the only place to be as far as I am concerened!

Just finished the 28 day challenge.. I am feeling great with just under 10lb weight loss, but best of all my BMI and Body Fat has decreased :)..
The classes are really good and fun... A big plus point is the great support from Robert and Maria, not only at class but also on the Facebook pages.

absoloutely loved bootcamp in the park in the better weather, you couldn't meet a nicer group of people, every session is different so no boredom with the same old workouts. Seeing the difference every week in your fellow bootcampers is great motivation.
