I am a new personal trainer myself, and I was looking to find some motivation for my own workouts, accountability, and to gain more experience! I chose Matt as I had been following his socials for a while and was really impressed with his work. I’m nearly 3 weeks in and I’ve seen so much progress already, my body has changed a lot in such a short time!
His approach to coaching is friendly and he is clearly very knowledgeable. His communication regarding nutrition and workouts is brilliant, he is very efficient with getting clients set up and is always there for any help you need! His weekly check ins are also in detail and again, full of knowledge! Matts branding looks professional and his website is very easy to use also.
I would definitely recommend him for anyone wanting to transform their physique!

I have been training with Matt for the last few weeks, I know that I would not have achieved the level of fitness and wellness I am already achieving at my age (mature) and a complete novice to personal training if I had not had the personal attention in my training sessions from Matt.

I first started working with Matt before the first lockdown and managed a few gym sessions before everything closed up; although I couldn't see him physically he was really attentive, and made sure to check in on how I was doing throughout. I was having some issues with an injury which he helped me with too, which I was really grateful for. I have recently started working with him again on his 12 week transformation course which I am really enjoying and feel really excited about. I have been an online client of Matts now for around 6 weeks or so and he has been fantastic. I hit a wall with my progress on my own and Matts help and knowledge has allowed me to start making small progress consistently week in week out. He answers any question I have in great detail and has very good response times too. Matt Owen is the one trainer who will not allow you to let go of your dream. You can try, through self sabotage or injury (not exercise related to be clear) or just through sheer laziness. But somehow he pulls you back from the edge and your worst demons. Slowly I am being re-educated. Matt adapts food/workout programmes constantly to fit in with your life style and any major change that may affect your daily life. And even tho I am doing online only PT, I am never alone. Matt has got my back and I thank him for that.

Matt knows every single lie you tell yourself about why you're not losing fat and losing weight. Then he gets you to do the things you need to, in order to achieve your goals, with steady but impressive progress. I started mid January and at end April I am 25Ibs down and well on the way to my target weight loss
of 35Ibs by end June. Biggest truth? Jogging 9 miles a day won't help you! Thoroughly recommended.
