I never knew what I was capable of until I started PT with James. His dedication to tailor each and every session to suit the individual is second to none. He is always there to offer help and advice on fitness and nutrition. The weekly work out plans are great for me as they give me the push & motivation i need. Now I’ve found James, I’ll never look to go to anyone else.

I have just completed Buggy fitness with James and it was so good. It’s great for all levels of fitness as you can do exercises at your own pace, there are very varied exercises too and James focussed on areas some mums particularly wanted/needed to strengthen. I can’t wait for it to start again in September!!

I have always participated in sport of some sort from an early age, Covid put a stop to that and in the past two years I have slowly gained weight and lost my fitness. Having reached the age of 62 I needed to do something about it, so I contacted James. He has pushed me to places I didn't know I could get to. Had me lifting weights in various ways for the first time in my life. Set me a strict calorie intake each week (for starters). Challenged me to stop eating biscuits for lent, (still haven't eaten one). I have lost just over a stone in 12 weeks and feel so much better all round. It's not for the faint hearted, but if you commit and follow his advice, James will support you all the way and get the very best out of you.

You won’t get a better PT service. 13 fitness know how to motivate their clients, take an interest in what they need/want out of PT and tailor a programme specifically to you. Always keeping it interesting while getting results. Highly recommend.

James is by far the best personal trainer I have ever had. He's really professional, committed and a great motivator. He's also really friendly, welcoming and you can have a laugh with him. He will set up sessions catered to your goals and provide support inside and outside of these sessions. I have lost 12kg in the last 3 months through the assessments and guidance he offers. I am the healthiest, slimmest and strongest I have ever been in my life - if you're willing to put in the work you will get amazing results. I would recommend 13 Fitness to absolutely anybody!

OMG, James and his buggy fit sessions have been an absolute saving grace for the remaining months of my Mat leave. James really knows his stuff and is very keen to assist everyone on an individual basis. I think he had his work cut out when, at one point, there were 3/4 buggies needing a gentle rocking so all us mums could continue with our workout.
Everyone was super friendly and I’ve made some good friends from these classes. I’m definitely going to miss our sessions now I’m back at work but will definitely be looking at going to the odd one when I can.

James is very professional PT. As I started with James I found out I was pregnant and he adapted all exercises for my needs through. None of the exercises were too vigorous and I could stop if needed. He followed all the NHS core guidelines which I had no idea about.
I would absolutely recommend James to anyone wanting to get into their fitness and doing exercises correctly.

I was nervous to start with as I have never had personal training before but James explained everything and put us at ease immediately. He keeps us on track during the week, is very supportive but also motivational. After a lazy start to lock-down my wife and I have been using 13 Fitness as restrictions have eased, I wasn't happy going back to my normal gym yet whilst restrictions are still in place and felt James reassured my wife and I that he could keep us safe whilst working out in the outdoor environment. My husband and I had 2 months of PT with James (ending when I reached 28 weeks of pregnancy and things started getting that little bit more difficult for me and fatigue set in).
Workouts were tailored to both of our needs by James - my husband 'new' to exercise and myself relatively fit pre lockdown but inhibited a bit by pregnancy. We always enjoyed the sessions and came away motivated to have a healthier week.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend James as a PT for both men and women and look forward to hopefully joining some of his classes in the future!

I started Buggy Fit with James last year and having never been a fitness fanatic James gradually built up my confidence and motivation. Amazing personal trainer!! Would recommend 13 Fitness to anyone. Having recently had a baby I was conscious about trying to tone up and lose my baby weight healthily. I have been to many personal trainers and found they are all the same - Just looking for your money and just treating you like a number. Then I met James - WHAT. A. GUY. He is an incredible personal trainer, and his nutrition expertise is second to none. I have friends that have gone to his boot class and they love it. I'm more of a 1 on 1 kind of guy, and James adapts his workouts to my requirements, keeping me motivated and on my toes. James provides awesome Buggy Fit sessions which I know she enjoys & is ideal to get outside, get fit & have a chat to like minded mums in the area. I know she was aprehensive to start at first, but there was no need to worry as James put her at ease as every excersize is tailored to your own level.
