Shannon has been personally training (and life mentoring) me since mid-July 2022, and she will be forever hopefully!
Shannon is uniquely amazing; she is incredibly positive and always has a huge smile on her face; she takes personal training to a whole new level by supporting her clients in the most caring and positive way (while also making you work to your max in her sessions)!
As a busy business owner and Mum to two young children, Shannon has taught me so much about making time for self-care, thanks to Shannon I feel motivated to keep fit, healthy and happy.
Shannon has so much knowledge of fitness combined with women's health, therefore all of her sessions are bespoke, and tailor-made for your needs whatever point you at are in your fitness / healthy living journey.

I’ve been working with Shannon for a year now and I can’t recommend her enough. The sessions are challenging but enjoyable and she really focuses on technique so you know you’re doing the exercises correctly.
As well as exercise she also has a wealth of knowledge about nutrition, peri menopause and wellness. I look forward to our sessions every week!

I started working with Shannon during the pandemic and the sessions were delivered on Zoom. Since September, I’ve been attending PTs with her at the studio. The workouts are always great, with a real variety of exercises and areas of focus. They can easily be done at home. Shannon is really lovely. She’s very friendly and approachable. She really knows her stuff - this was apparent in some of my early sessions with her. Despite working on Zoom, she was able to see (and correct) where I have specific areas of muscular weakness and when I was making errors with a movement. I was very impressed! The new studio is great. The space has a good feel and I would recommend Balance Fitness to other women who are interested in working with a personal trainer.

I have never worked with a PT before and I absolutely love working with Shannon. I started online in lockdown and now have sessions in her studio which is perfect for me. I love the sessions which are tailored to my needs and I have never felt better. Weights were a bit of a fear of mine but now I know how to use them properly I will never go back to the treadmill. Ive never wanted to be skinny just fit and at 47 this is just the right fit for me. I feel strong and if I'm honest more confident. Shannon's online classes are also great. I wish I'd started this earlier.

Shannon’s zoom workouts through lockdown we’re such a saviour and gave me the confidence to buy equipment and workout at home. Balance Fitness was recommended to me when I was looking for a trainer as a nervous newbie to weights, strength building and all round nutrition and wellbeing. From the first contact, Shannon was incredibly friendly, informative, and supportive. At the start, I was quite nervous but keen to get started. After my first few sessions in the welcoming and well-equipped studio, it all feels very manageable and I now have some personalised training plans that I'm really enjoying working through. Crucially, I understand why I'm doing what I'm doing, and how it specifically benefits me, thanks to Shannon's guidance and explanations (on both training and nutrition). I particularly like Shannon's realistic and attainable approach, which is about overall balance, rather than fitness fanaticism! Shannon is very knowledgeable in both exercise and nutrition. Her programmes are carefully tailored to your specific needs and she chats to you each week to assess any changes she feels have to made, altering the training session where necessary. Shannon creates a perfect environment for exercise and there’s plenty of laughter too!
