It's been almost two years since I joined KFit, and throughout that time, I have massively improved my fitness, health and well-being, shedding six stone in bodyweight. This has been achieved through attending group classes initially, and later a combination of classes and weekly PT sessions.
I had little knowledge of how to train, and had never pushed my body to the limits it needed to progress. Kara isn't your average fitness trainer and PT; she will put so much time and effort into making sure each of her clients are exercising in a way that meets their individual needs. Her sessions are filled with so much knowledge, support and guidance, from the correct positioning and posture, to nutritional advice (Amazing 'KFit Plan' with recipes galore to inspire you), as well as the fun factor, and lots of encouragement.
In uncertain times, throughout the Covid19 lockdowns, being able to do KFit classes via zoom has meant that my progress hasn't been lost. Continuing via virtual classes has been invaluable to my mental health, maintaining my focus and ensuring my health wasn't compromised being stuck at home. That being said, I am so looking forward to getting back to classes at Acorn! 'KFit family' isn't just a class, its a wonderful group of friendly and determined people, who all support each other. Kara's methods of delivering sessions builds on a such positive and inclusive environment, where you can't help but make friends.
So if you want to be 'fashionably fit' in expensive gym wear, and prance around, doing mediocre exercise, KFit isn't the place for you. BUT, if you want to make real lifestyle changes, constantly pushing yourself and seeing progression in every week, then there's no better fitness group than KFit, and definitely no better trainer than Kara.
Just for perspective, I was sixteen stone, and I struggled so much with my confidence, health and self-image. How times have changed! Thank you Kara :)
If you want real, sustainable results, go to someone as professional, caring and qualified as this lovely lady, because she can change your life!

Kara 's knowledge is extensive, she goes above and beyond to help you. She can adapt exercises to suit your ability whilst still giving you an amazing workout. Kara will push you but never beyond your abilities which is hard but you feel amazing afterwards and you progress quickly.

This is my second time round with kara as my PT. The first time she checked out my posture and saw things I never new myself, she new exactly what needed to be done with fantastic results, I then had to have a break after an operation, when I felt I could get back into it I new where to go and she new how to get me back to where we left off I, have now just finished an 8 week course of training with exceptional results, I feel fitter stronger and loads better because I now know how important it is to also eat well, I have lost inches from all over and realy enjoyed every minute even though it was tough, I can't thank kara enough for what she has done for me and will be keeping it up in her classes, nothing is to much trouble and if you want to get fit and healthy she is the person to help you get there. She also makes it fun and not a chore. Kara is an amazing PT with expert knowledge.

My daughter Leah has personal training provided by Kara. Leah has additional needs and can only do seat based exercises. This has not stoped Kara designing a brilliant programme.,Leah is going from strength to strength. We highly recommend.
