Ben is the best! I’ve worked with other trainers previously but Ben’s approach is totally different and so much more sustainable.
He has helped me shift my thinking massively, which in turn has had a huge impact on both my body shape and strength. Not ‘just’ a fitness coach, he looks at retraining behaviours and habit forming psychology - so rather than just trying to punish myself toward fitness I’ve been able to make lasting, manageable and surprisingly straightforward changes.
On a practical level, Ben really knows his stuff and how to get you to your specific goals. Our workouts have been varied enough to stay fun and interesting, but consistent enough to show clear progress. He’s a thoroughly lovely chap and is so encouraging. He doesn’t shout and lets you determine your own limits during the sessions, which I appreciate a lot as I live with MS and these can fluctuate a fair bit!
Over the 6 months I’ve been training with Ben, my weight is down by fifteen percent, I feel epic and flexible, and I can do chin ups for the first time in my life! His help (and his book, which is brilliant) has given me the tools I need to keep getting stronger and I’m looking forward to checking back in later in the year to start fine tuning my progress further.
Have already recommended him to everyone I know – if you want to change, definitely give him a call!

Ben is an awesome PT. I wanted to lose a few lockdown pounds and get out of an exercise boredom rut. I really enjoyed the weekly strength training sessions and having someone to talk to about progress. It was also motivating to see the results of the training in my team sports and, for the first time ever, I can do chin ups! Ben listens, works hard for you, and really knows his stuff.

My husband and I found Ben on google, after watching a video on his site, followed by a taster session we were drawn in by his easygoing manner and pragmatism towards our goals of weight loss and getting fit. After just six weeks of following his simple advice and work out ideas we had dropped a couple of sizes and lost a good deal of the lockdown weight that had crept up on us.

Ben takes a unique holistic approach to fitness and tailors sessions to suit the individuals needs. Before I started my sessions I was feeling a bit down, de-motivated, overweight and unfit. Ben is awesome! I have been training with Ben for 9 months. In that time I have gone from a size 16/18 to a size 8/10 and feel healthier and happier than I have ever been. I am a lawyer working in the city and generally had a terrible lifestyle of long hours, stress, bad food habits, smoking and too much alcohol! Ben’s approach to training is to look at ways to change these negative factors for the long term - as opposed to just a short term solution for loosing weight. I am an all or nothing person so the biggest lesson Ben has taught me is how to maintain the balance of not being either all about work or all about fitness. With Ben’s help I am amazed to say that I have found a healthy middle-ground that I have been able to maintain for several months (even through some very busy (and stressful) work periods).
The process of working with Ben has been insightful, educational and above everything else fun! I love being outdoors so training outdoors (even at 6am on a cold wet morning in Battersea Park!) suited me perfectly. Ben is a kind and empathetic trainer who is able to push you in a way that you personally will respond to.
I plan to continue to work with Ben for a little while longer - I am still finding my feet and feel I am not quite ready to go on my own yet! I still have a number of fitness and lifestyle goals I want to achieve but I know that, thanks to Ben’s help, I am now on the right path.
If you want results, Ben is the best person to call. I reached out to Ben by dropping him an email and meeting him for a coffee (between meetings!) and it has changed my life. There is absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain - call him!

I've been working with Ben for the last few months. I'm halfway towards my goal of losing 2 stone. Since starting Ben has helped me look at what I eat and how much movement I do day to day . I've gone from someone who definitely ate too much and rarely ran to doing 10k runs which is great to say! I first worked with Ben back in 2009 when trying to make a return to playing the best possible rugby I could. I found his training programme and accompanying docs really thorough guidance in such a full-on sport. He really knows his stuff and isn't bad at touch rugby either, :-).
In the years since my rugby days Ben has been consistently awesome whenever we've worked together. His book Change Your Thinking, Change Your Shape is really important in helping me realise how closely tied food, mental space and exercise are. This coupled with his holistic approach has helped me to get through and out the other side (smiling and feeling great) from a number of physical and mental health challenges. With his help I was also able to complete the London Marathon in 2015 and lose 12kgs from December 2017 to now.

I've struggled with weight,body and food issues all my life and have always been stones overweight. I also struggle with depression which makes motivation and results very unpredictable.
As a 42 year old woman I had just resigned myself to being this weight forever. When I met Ben I thought it would be too much for one person to deal with and couldn't imagine someone able to to get results from me.
Ben took on the challenge we faced each week and with different challenges we tried different strategies to see what solutions worked best for my situation and find out what was stopping me getting the body I wanted.
Ben takes a holistic approach and combines a psychological approach with pretty brilliant amount of fitness and nutrition knowledge.
Ben helped me lose 3 Stone, we've had our ups and downs but Ben has always pushed me with patience and understanding and didn't give up even when I wanted to.
Ben enjoys the challenge of a case like me who's never been into fitness and isn't a natural athlete or healthy eater and has to start from scratch. I know he is also very good with the seasoned fitness client who just needs some fine tuning.

I am a newly qualified personal trainer & started working with Ben a few months ago which has been one of the best training decisions i've ever made!
He has been coaching me to run a 5 marathon in 5 day challenge up & down hills in November & I can say with some certainty that it wouldn't have been possible without Ben's guidance & in depth knowledge regarding injury prevention & running rehabilitation.
I went to him with a permanently under active right glute which over a few weeks of Ben's guidance it has become active & functional which is a great relief as I was beginning to lose hope after trying numerous physios to no result. Ben is an excellent trainer, whose years of experience shine through whenever you come up against a problem with your weight, diet, activity levels or movement patterns. If you have hit a brick wall with any one of these then you need him - he knows the tricks to fix things, provides great support and motivation and offers a highly-tailored personal service. I have been training with Ben for around a year and he has totally transformed my lifestyle. From sleeping through alarms, being a regular smoker and drinking copious amounts of alcohol every weekend, I now run around the park 3 mornings a week out of my own choice, do not smoke and drink only when I actually feel like it. He helped me get into the best shape of my life for a trip to Brazil, (fitting confidently into a bikini for the first time ever!) and is now helping me prepare for a climb up Kilimanjaro.
It is not just your physical fitness that he transforms but your mental outlook and overall confidence too. If you are having any neck/shoulder/back pain Ben is the one to see. I had serious tightness in my neck and shoulders from studying at a computer all day. Hi ben i just want to say how much of a body transformation you have given me sticking to your advice on what to eat and the best ways to train on certain body parts has not only changed my appearance but also my mental thoughts , I've been recieving your emails for years now and to be honest to be given the advice you give out a nutritionist and a personal trainer would have cost me probably about 1k i now know alot about your ways of body transforming your body into the shape you would like , being an honest guy ben i suggest you start to now charge for your information on diets and training regimes, i know it all now but many dont , im a low paid male from Hull East Yorkshire and your from London so there is a hell of a sallery difference , i really appreciate passing your knowledge to the public, however i feel you should charge for certain advice im low paid but i would have paid you to get me into the shape i am now , however its bee free, i owe you a pint in your treat day and meal next time im down south, thanks once again your a true star! 👌
