I was looking for a personal trainer before I got married and then met Matt. He has a sound knowledge base, is supportive and challenged me in the gym. This helped me push my boundaries in the gym and my confidence was built up a lot. Before Matt I'd never used a personal trainer and was really nervous, but I didn't have to be. He helped me gain a lot of strength and I tried new exercises I hadn't even seen before. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone - newbie or experienced gym goer.

I have been training with Matt for nearly 3 years. I am not a natural gym-goer or exerciser, so for me the most important thing was finding a trainer who is patient, non-judgmental and could make sessions interesting, and Matt has been brilliant for that. It is evident from hearing him speak his genuine passion for what he does and helping his clients, which is also shown by how he helps with nutrition and lifestyle advice and support beyond the training sessions themselves. Matt is knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about fitness. He is approachable, attentive, good listener and flexible to meet the needs of his clients. We made really good progress within the months of starting training together.
When I started training with him I was very scared of the deadlifts excercise and had a very bad posture. But, with his motivation, guidence and gentle persistence, I got the confidence to lift more and more. When we trained last, I managed to hit 120 KG 💪

I've been training weekly with Matt since October 2020 (in the gym, remotely over Zoom and now outside) and in the last 6 months have noticed a big improvement in my strength and overall fitness. Matt provides a comprehensive service, is very knowledgeable about nutrition and communicates very well with me regarding setting realistic goals. After agreeing these goals, Matt provided a personalised exercise programme, which has evolved over the six months of progress. Matt has introduced me to many exercises which I haven't encountered before, with a sense of humour and a friendly and professional demeanour.
