I highly recommend Ian. He is friendly and a great trainer. I have been training with Ian for at least 5 years and our sessions are always varied and fun and push me to work to my abilities and potential. My strength and cardio endurance have been transformed. Our sessions also allow me to escape work for an hour and bring balance back to my mental wellbeing. Try a session - you won't regret it!

I trained with Ian for a good 2 years. I had been working out of my own to try to gain muscle mass for some time and getting nowhere. I approached him for a few tips / one off training sessions, which turned into a weekly routine. He helped me go through cycles to be able to lift heavier and get the results I was looking for.

I cannot rate Ian highly enough. I have been training for over a year with Ian and I am getting fitter and stronger with each day. Ian is extremely professional, always on time and also flexible to move sessions when required.
The sessions have a huge amount of variety so you never know what you are going to get - but that's part of the fun and the challenge. Ian is passionate about his business and this shows, he will push you to be better, fitter and stronger and he encourages you every step of the way.
He takes a lot of time to program the sessions to tailor to your fitness level but what I really like is that sessions he gives you, you know that he has done himself so he understands full well the "pain" you are experiencing during the session. And yes, the sessions are always tough, but so rewarding when you see progression.
During this crazy year and once lockdown had lifted, Ian has gone the extra mile to cycle over to me and we do training in the park close to my house. This has actually been amazing for me and has really helped my mental health to keep spirits up in very uncertain times. The workouts are tough but we have a good chat along the way and meet some interesting characters in the park which add to the variety!
If you are looking for a passionate and highly experienced PT to help you achieve your fitness goals, I would highly recommend reaching out to Ian - he is an excellent PT, loves his job and is a genuinely nice guy.

Ian made sure to constantly change our exercises (including number of sets and repetitions) and had always the right words to motivate me.

Being passionate, knowledgeable, reliable and hard working is what makes Ian a great Personal Trainer. The main reason why I like to train with him, is because whatever the workout is prepared for me, he has been there and done it himself before. Thanks to this he has perfect understanding of how it may feel and he will guide you through the routine very specifically. This will definitely maximise your potential. What is more he owns and provides a variety of equipment, which in busy times is not always available on the gym floor, so we can proceed with out routine rather then adjust it. It’s also great, if you fancy a workout in a park with rower and a barbell 😃💪🏻

My training routine had become stale and I had a niggling shoulder injury. I was fortunate that Ian had the space to fit me into his schedule for around 18-24 months. Ian's PT sessions were challenging, engaging and also a lot of fun. He introduced some really interesting programmes and work outs including Olympic lifting which was particularly enjoyable. Ian has vast knowledge on all things exercise & fitness, his client base includes elite athletes to first time gym goers, and everything in between. A true professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
