My teenage son and I wanted to improve our fitness to help with our other sporting activities, to do something that worked for us both (with quite different age/strength/fitness levels), and to spend some father/son time doing something enjoyable. Our sessions with Jamie have achieved all those things. He is easy to get on with, he helps us both drive for personal advancement - together and independent of each other - and he includes a range of exercises that keep us interested, and which he quickly flexes if we have preferences or injuries from week to week (and also during national lockdown restrictions). Recently I have had a more serious injury (nothing to do with Jamie), and he has taken the time to speak to my physio and adapt our training to take the injury in to account, and to still keep My son interested. I would thoroughly recommend Jamie!

‘I started training with Jamie with the purpose of loosing some weight, get fit and fell better about myself. Since I have been training with Jamie my overall strength and fitness has improved, so much that I’m able to do exercises that I would have never been able to do on my own. Our sessions are always hard work and he makes sure every exercise is performed properly. Jamie always tries to accommodate the sessions to suit me and is very motivating and passionate for his work. He helped me understand the importance of eating right for better results. This is life changing for me and I’m loving it, the results I get every month are so motivating. I used gyms in-house personal trainers before, but I was very tired of feeling like on conveyor belt of a production line: tired of not getting enough attention to my own specific goals and training needs. Also I really wanted to focus on tailoring my workout in order to concentrate on achieving a certain body shape.
I was interested in weight training to achieve a more defined body without growing massive muscles and turning out looking like a gorilla. I first saw Jamie at his regular gym and I noticed his own work out technique and the obvious result he has able to achieve on his physic (yes, the photos on his website are real!). That for me was the deciding factor: I thought, if he can do this for himself surely he can help others do the same.
I started training with Jamie about 6 months ago and I am really noticing the results. I am training for less hours than before but my body is looking better than ever. Jamie is carefully selecting exercises tailored to my own goals, he does not rush things and he is very meticulous with technique, which ensures every exercise is done right and achieves best results.
Jamie is very patient but firm at the same time, he is also a very nice down to earth guy. I enjoy our regular chit chats and catch up sessions, whilst training.
Oh sorry, before I forget… “Good looking, incredibly funny and yet so knowledgeable”… he asked me to write that 🙂
No seriously I would highly recommend Jamie, he really knows his stuff, you will get the results you want and spend some time with a great guy!

I had worked with personal trainers before I started with Jamie. But none of them were able to help me achieve the results I have obtained working with him. From the start he made it clear that one session a week was not going to be enough. We agreed on two sessions and a commitment to a calorie controlled diet. Jamie prepares for our sessions making sure that I keep progressing and improving, and now, after working with him for seven months I am lifting some heavy weights. But instead of becoming muscular, I have become toned. The results of our work together have been phenomenal with almost 20 lbs lost and a redefined shape. I have the photos to prove it.

Training with Jamie for almost two and a half years now, I find that Jamie is dependable and flexible in addition to being extremely good at what he does, i.e. the best trainer I’ve ever worked with. Every session is different, targeting my goals of improved strength, greater muscular definition, and weight loss. Importantly, he's good fun to chat with during the session.
I’ve seen (and others have noticed) real physical changes and will continue with him for as long as he’ll have me as a client!

I’ve been training twice a week with Jamie for 1.5 years now. He is extremely dedicated in helping me to reach my potential - no session is the same and they are constantly fun yet challenging. At the start, the thought of squatting heavy weights filled me with horror. Now it’s one of my favourite exercises (the jury is still out on the lunges though).
If you want to see results but also enjoy your time working out, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jamie (as I did to my friend Sarah).
