Jacob is the most knowledgeable and patient personal trainer I have ever known. I trained with him over a period of four years. I lead a busy work lifestyle and never quite enjoyed putting substantial effort in training. Jacob was able to work within my constraints, helping me to achieve great results with moderate efforts. He really knows his stuff and shares his knowledge freely with clients. I learnt a lot about movement, flexibility, fat loss, and fitness. Highly recommended for gym rats as well as people like me :)

Jacob is an excellent trainer because he continually invests in his own understanding and education for your benefit. Whilst you sometimes feel like a guinea pig this is because, in my experience, he is dedicated to finding the correct personalised solution for you. Crucially he is an expert in the mechanics of movement which adds a whole other dimension to understanding how to enable your goals - conventional or rehab. Would recommend.

In all seriousness, Jacob is a guru. Its been some months since my sessions with him and still his routines and teachings form a massive part of my day to day life. After complex knee surgery which I didn't satisfactorily heal from, I have significantly better range of motion and capability to exercise and really live life. Being a former Team GB athlete I don't think I could be easily fooled by someone who didn't understand what they were doing, Jacob is passionate and a credit to FRC. I hope to have more sessions with him after the new addition to our family starts to sleep through the night! Jacob is honest, punctual, and spectacular value for money given the benefits he will bring to so much of your life. If you live around London and can easily get on the Jubilee line, you are one of the lucky ones.

Great trainer. I've had a few in the past and they've been good in different ways but Jacob's approach uses some science and techniques I'd never really heard of before so I can only assume he's ahead of the curve when it comes to the research and science. His mobility training techniques definitely work, and work really well. It’s not about how much work you do, but doing the right work - and he’s got that locked down. On another note, his fat-burning programme (Bellyproof) is astonishing if you commit to it fully and follow it to the letter.

I have trained extensively with Jacob, and was one of the first to try his epic BellyProof program, to great success. I always loved his focus on good and healthy movement over the sometimes reckless approaches taken by so many other trainers, and his unconventional style of training and great sense of humour. I regularly refer people to Jacob for personal training. He is one of the few trainers who really understands both movement / mobility training, and conventional strength / conditioning / fat-loss etc. This is very hard to find and I highly recommend training with him!

I followed Jacob's weight loss programme and it worked! He made me love exercising. He is knowledgeable around anatomy, physiology, movement and nutrition following the latest reaserch yet he communicates in a way that a layman can understand. Great motivator.

Doesn't get much better than this.. this dude knows what he's doing and is super friendly. Training with Jacob got me results like nothing else I've tried and as a plus, I know how to train in a wat that's a lot more engaging to me (though that's a personal thing) and know I'm doing something for my overall health beyond looks. Some of this knowledge is bound to rub off on you and make you question mainstream perceptions about training and eating.. I appreciate my body more and that alone was worth it! Oh and learnt some cool moves too :)
