Maria is an excellent trainer and an inspirational person. She cares about your health and well-being, not fads, and wants everything you do to be sustainable for you.
She tailors everything to your needs - for example, I had knee problems and we have worked to strengthen it alongside my wider fitness goals. I have definitely put on muscle and dropped weight from my waist, and more importantly, I enjoy working out and feeling stronger. It has made my lifestyle much healthier, and her flexibility during the pandemic meant that we continued online, outside, etc, whatever was appropriate.
I would say that she is the most approachable, relaxed and friendly trainer you could ask for - especially for beginners! For anyone who wants to start their fitness journey but doesn’t know how to begin, I would say, try Maria at Power of Fitness.

Maria (Power of Fitness) is fantastic. She's helped me to go from doing very little exercise to training several times a week. Her sessions are always fun - she's super up-beat and positive. Her depth of knowledge is very impressive, and she's always happy to explain the rationale for different movements, in terms of the anatomy and physiology. Also, training outside and on Zoom with Maria has meant I've always felt safe re: COVID. Overall, 5 star!

Maria is an excellent personal trainer. We have been working together twice a week for a number of years.
Maria is always thoughtful and creative. If anything is painful she works to alleviate the pain. If I have been driving for a few days she will incorporate more stretching. Our session are never dull or repetitive as she is always thinking and introducing new exercises.
Ian a fit 70 year old but it isn't always easy. With Maria it always is.
I highly recommend her. The best trainer I have ever had.

Maria always listens to my goals and encourages me to work towards them. I am a university student and train with her when I am at home for the holidays but she keeps in touch with me throughout term time to check how I am doing and encourages me to send her updates and videos so she can help me even when I’m not at home.
