Rik, is a brilliant PT, patient and empathetic to his client’s needs. He individually tailors a programme to achieve all your goals, including ones you didn’t even know you had. His approach is real and feasible and is very much about adding health and fitness to your daily life, making it a sustainable way to follow through. I am glad I found his services, when I was so close to giving up because of a never ending dialogue I kept telling myself. My journey may not be a quick fix but I will get to there with Rik’s expertise. Highly recommend.

I have had the pleasure of working with Rik for 12 weeks during the lockdown - thank goodness for 21st century technology! Rik took the time to get to know me and get to know what my goals were and tailored a plan which worked well for me and my goals. One of the first things we discussed when we started was diet. This is usually a very touchy subject for most people, but with Rik’s knowledge and guidance we very quickly uncovered the error of my ways, in a way which wasn’t at all judgemental but more so very positive. Rik’s in-depth knowledge and understanding is made evident as he not only shows you how to engage in an exercise, he also gives detailed explanations of the benefits each exercise has as well as what muscles groups are being used.
When you first meet Rik you will be greeted with his calm and gentle nature which will automatically put you at ease, but when you get into the gym, you see his passion for fitness come shining through. I throughly looked forward to and enjoyed our sessions! Once upon a time, the thought of squats and burpees would make me nervous, but since working with Rik I feel a lot more confident with both!
Training with Rik hasn’t just been about fitness, his encouragement and guidance to approaching difficult situations has made me stronger mentally and use as a learning curve for future endeavours. Training with Rik has also resulted in drastic improvement with my fitness and health, I cannot thank and recommend Rik enough!
