Simon is a very knowledgeable Physiotherapist. He helped me to recover from a painful ankle injury. He created a programme of exercises to help get me back to fitness and also tailored the training to suit my sports goals. He edited the programme as my injury started to improve, and it was great to be able to check in about any issues I was having along the way. I would highly recommend Simon, especially if you are looking to recover from injury.

Working with Simon has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I needed intensive physiotherapy after I was was hit by a lorry in June that left me with serious trauma to my lower left leg and foot including breaks and deep skin and tissue loss. I was in hospital for the whole month for reconstruction that included skin and tissue grafts, long immobilisation and metalware in my foot. The surgeons did not know what I would be able to do in future and they certainly did not expect me to be off crutches and walking for a very very long time. I was devastated as I love sports and hiking and have always depended on them for my happiness. I decided on Simon because he brought had a long career as a physiotherapist working with trauma and could find ways to build myself back up after hospital and while I couldn't move my leg. I was in the gym with Simon within days out of leaving hospital. Simon has really thought about what I needed to support my mobility in the short and long term at every stage in my recovery so far. He thinks creatively about using equipment to build fitness when movement has been limited. He keeps on top of the latest developments in his field has helped me to interpret the different sensations and pain I have experienced and figured out what I need to do to move forward. I am happy to say that I am off crutches and able to walk and am making what the surgeons agree is really good progress. I do not know where I would have been without Simon and couldn't recommend him enough. I am looking forward to continuing my rehabilitation with his motivation and support.

I was looking for a more relaxed approach as I hadn't been to the gym in years. Simon was friendly and approachable, and helped me get back into it. His knowledge of physio helped as I had actually developed a shoulder injury during my gym absence, but I could still work out with Simon's help despite not being able to do many of the exercises I used to.

I started my physiotherapy sessions with Simon about a year ago to treat a tendinopathy injury, sciatica and lower back pain. He is very dedicated to his work and tailored the exercises to my injuries and their progression level. He also took time to ask about my physical goals and activities I wanted to resume, like running, in order that we could work toward that goal. Simon also collaborated with my personal trainer to advise on specific strengthening exercises to ensure a quicker recovery. He regularly follows up on my improvements even between our 1:1 sessions and is available to provide advice whenever needed. His exercises are challenging but a huge aid to my long process of healing and now I am very close to a full recovery. If you need a professional, dedicated and knowledgeable physiotherapist I would highly recommend him.
Thank you Simon!!!

Working with Simon has been really great. I came to him with a knee problem after lockdown and it has now practically gone. The exercises Simon gave me were useful but also not too time consuming - he was always willing to listen if I thought there were too many! He checks in with me every couple of weeks even now that I've moved further away. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Over the last three months Simon has helped me massively with my confidence and form in the gym and I’m well on my way to achieving my fitness goals. He works hard both in and outside of sessions to ensure client success. I’ve been very happy with the friendly, professional, and personalised experience I’ve received so far.

Simon has been treating me for the last few years, as my 5th physio after trying many others. Initially for knee rehab to try to avoid surgery for my torn ACL, however after a second incident during lockdown he proposed for me to think about surgery, which I had. Since then all our sessions have been through video call and I cant thank Simon enough for being patient and always at the end of a message whenever I was struggling or worried that something else had gone wrong. I’m now back to my normal self prior to the injury but am still reassured that if I had any worries I could always message Simon and he would be there with advice if needed. I can’t thank him enough

Been working with Simon on a long term injury for a while and seen so much improvement.
Simon has knowledge of the human anatomy akin to a doctor. He was able to workout what my injury was and provide excersise based solutions that led to the improvement.
In addition he prescribed excerises that i could do which did not impact my injury which helped improve my overall fitness and wellbeing.
Highly recommended 👌 👍

I sustained a serious injury to my knee and thigh which resulted in me having an operation to reattach my quadriceps and to screw back in a large piece of bone to the side of my knee. I needed lots of physiotherapy and Simon’s help and advice was amazing. Especially as this was all during the pandemic lockdown, meaning we had to have the consultations via video. He not only demonstrated every thing I needed to do but was very informative and patient in explaining all. I will most certainly highly recommend his services. I can’t sing enough of his praises to be fair. Spread the word!

I decided to reach out to Simon after a freak accident last Summer. I was initially concerned about permanent damage, but he assured me that as long as I stuck to the plan, it would be highly unlikely.
Simon was right, and along the way he was extremely approachable, consistent with his level of service and willing to listen to my theories and own ideas about how to recover efficiently. Highly recommended!

Simon was great from the initial consultation all the way through my recovery programme and the eventual rolling off / aftercare. He works meticulously to ensure the greatest outcome and I’m very delighted to say after using his services, I’m in more comfort than I have been in a long time due to his expertise. Great communication in between sessions and always willing to answer concerns 7 days a week.

After lockdown and a long time spent away from the gym, Simon was fantastic in building back up my confidence and putting together a training programme to get my fitness back on track. With a long term view in mind, Simon is great at focusing on exercise that becomes a regular part of your routine, rather than a short term quick fix. Really recommend training with Simon!

So glad I found a knowledgeable personal trainer who’s also a physio and knows a lot about health and fitness. Simon was able to enhance my understanding of how to get the most out of my fitness routine. He also updated my plan regularly and shared it with me. His knowledge is second to none! He was also very flexible and able to deliver Personal Training sessions in the park near my house at a time that suited me. Highly recommend his services!”

Simon helped me get back in shape and into a pain free state after I had a slipped disc 2 years ago. He got me onto a routine that has been sustainable and one that allowed me to get back to some normality.
He also kindly offered to help and provided me with tips regarding managing back pain during my current pregnancy when I reached out.
Highly recommend Simon. Thanks so much Simon!

Simon has helped me as both as a physio and a personal trainer and is very knowledgeable and professional in both fields.
For the personal fitness side of things he was able to tailor a program to my particular needs, sports specific exercises and drills to help me in my chosen sport.
Unfortunately I had a rather bad fall and made a large mess of my shoulder which set me in a different path for over year really. Simon was able to set me on the road to recovery. He is a great communicator, knows his subject extremely well and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who has a need a of a physio or personal trainer.
It’s of great benefit to me having a personal trainer and a physio in one package.

Simon was a great PT. I needed someone able to work with my knee and ankle injury and Simon has been able to provide great services. He was flexible and kept following up on the program. I was unfortunate to have Covid19 impacting our session and then had to move out of London so couldn't finish my sessions.
Thanks to Simon i have developed my knowledge on how to deal with knee and ankle pain with different stretches and exercises.

Simon has been training me through 2020. His approach is a mix of the science of fitness and good old fashioned motivation to stretch to your goals. He understands that fitness is practical and relates to what you want to achieve in life - he is excellent at understanding me as a person and my goals. Most importantly, he is also a very nice person with life experience and a sense of humour that really helps when it is cold and raining when you need to train. Highly recommended.

Simon was my physio and then personal trainer for 8 months following knee surgery. After having 80% of my cartilage removed in my early 30's I was extremely worried for my future and very weak after a long period of inactivity. Simon reviewed my comprehensive medical notes and came up with a structured and sensible plan in order to get my knee back to normal levels of mobility and slowly build up my strength after surgery. Simon is a very knowledgeable physio and personal trainer who was very happy to answer my (numerous!) questions and worries and kept me calm and on track with the plan. Two months after surgery I was walking 8-12km a day on a hiking trip and 6 months later attended a yoga retreat. Cannot recommend Simon highly enough.

A very bespoke service with a personal treatment plan created just for me and supervised regularly. Now fully recovered from my dislocated knee. Could not recommend Super Fit any more highly.

Simon is a fantastic personal trainer. He helped me recover and protect my back - his qualification as physiotherapist is a sound recommendation for his credentials. He is also able to provide guidance and exercises remotely via video. He designed a personal plan for me which worked wonders despite the impossibility of meeting face to face. In imes like these when meeting is impossible/prohibited, you can rest assured that Simon can help you stay fit and healthy.

Simon has been key in helping us to physically prepare for our event. Each individual session, and the overall program, has been well considered, bespoke to our needs and goal, and effective. Simon’s interest and depth of knowledge is readily apparent, and his background as a physiotherapist has been invaluable for us. Simon is friendly, encouraging, and always willing to go the extra mile to provide support. We’d highly recommend Simon to anyone seeking an experienced personal trainer (or physiotherapist) with great technical ability and effective application, and to anyone looking for genuine and sustained results.

I recently relocated abroad but Simon was a great help over the couple of months I saw him. He is very knowledgeable and professional, with a positive attitude, and gave me faith that I could run again after a series of injuries. I have progressed tremendously and owe this to Simon's support and direction. Thanks again!

I have recently relocated away from Limehouse, however, over the course of the last year, Simon really helped me to build my confidence with exercise again after a series of injuries when I was finding it difficult to get going. He was also always very professional during our sessions and his physiotherapy knowledge really made a difference in how he approached the type of activities which would help me specifically. Thanks again Simon!

I was so pleased to find Simon for training! As I've had problems with my lower back in recent years, it was imperative that I find a trainer who could work with me safely and without exacerbating my injury; Simon's physio background meant he was the perfect man for the job! Workouts with him are also fun and productive - I've toned up loads and dropped a dress size since we started!
D. W.
Simon is professional and personable. From initial contact through to ongoing communication, Simon is easily accessible and responds quickly to messages. Due to my job, sessions are irregular, but Simon is always available and flexible. Sessions are enjoyable, personally tailored and productive. Simon is extremely knowledgeable and shares that knowledge as he teaches you the exercises, explaining the physiology, which I find extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Simon to anyone seeking a personal trainer.

Strongly recommend Simon as a highly skilled PT and physiotherapist. Over 50, overweight and overdue an attempt to get fit, Simon has guided and motivated me as a PT, supportive and non-judgmental. Additionally, as a physiotherapist, Simon has identified and successfully treated long standing knee and shoulder issues that I’d reluctantly accepted as permanent, having experienced only marginal improvements with other physios. I’ve lost weight, lost inches and gained stamina, strength and physical confidence, whilst having great fun. Excellent.

Worked with Simon both as a physio and a PT. Simon helped me work through and recover from two long term injuries I had been struggling with and also helped me put together a number of great training routines. Simon is very knowledgeable, keeps things simple and grounded in current research, which for me has led to the best results I've seen in over 15 years of exercise.

Simon was able to help with a shoulder injury I received from ice hockey. He was able to, over the course of his treatment plan, address the injury through in-session work and by providing a tailored recovery workout plan. Simon was able to explain the injury and the timeline for recovery in a simple, easy to understand way. He was very helpful and I would recommend his services.

Simon has been a formidable personal trainer. From the beginning of the training sessions he worked on and kept tailoring the program to my then physical shape and objectives. He kept on diversifying the sessions to both keep me motivated and help me enhancing my performance towards reaching out my objectives. The sessions did not only include effective exercises series but also information about their effect on the organism. I strongly recommend Simon!

I contacted Simon regarding my shoulder pain that had come on gradually and then became so bad that I took myself to A&E. Simon was very knowledgable and recognised what the problem was almost immediately and helped me to understand how and why it was causing me so much pain. Simon then told me a series of simple exercises which have since helped with the pain and I no longer seem to have any problems with my shoulder. Simon was very thorough and considered in his approach and his wealth of knowledge definitely helped me to understand what I needed to do in order to recover quickly.

I am a healthcare professional in my late 40’s and I could see it was important to have a better balance with my hectic frontline NHS career and taking care of myself. Around the same time in February, I also moved back into full time cardiac ultrasound work. I was physically and mentally broken within two weeks. I had sustained a broken shoulder injury 14 months before and previously torn the other shoulder snow-boarding. My self-esteem was low and I wasn’t feeling very hopeful to improve my health and fitness.
I made enquiries at my local gym, with an interest in PT support. Simon from Super Fit is not only a PT, but a clinical physiotherapist with an excellent CV. This gave me a glimmer of hope. When I met Simon for our free introductory meeting, I told him my first priority was to be pain free and continue working in my profession. I felt listened too and just hopeful enough, to buy a training package with Simon. I’ve led an active life and have been to multiple physical therapists over the years for my injuries and even changed careers to reduce the impact on my body simply carrying out routine NHS work. Acute and chronic injury also carry psychological barriers. I wasn’t going to be Simon’s easiest customer, but I was open to giving it a go.
I’ve been having weekly sessions with Simon since February. For more than 4 months I’ve been living and working pain free. I stopped taking daily over-the-counter pain killers a long time ago. I trust Simon 100%.
Every week Simon is still listening to where I am at, which he demonstrates immediately by adjusting our sessions – true bespoke training. Simon also introduced me to integrated stretches though out training, rather than official warm up/down sessions.
Simon is professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and uniquely non-judgemental. There is nothing I have to prove, but how I want to improve. Like Simon, I have also done an MSc. It is meaningful to me to understand in detail about the work-outs he has me do. I don’t think it is even possible for me to exhaust his incredible knowledge-base of the body. I showed interest in running recently and he asked to video my running style on the treadmill. I demonstrated a strong pronation. If I had gone out running without knowing this and his follow-up instruction, I would have sustained another injury.
Simon started small with me, and I nudged him to progress me quicker. Simon then took the time to help me understand the ‘why.’ I now look back over this year and can understand the need for the slow and steady pace Simon supported me through, to now being active and vital in my life again. It took me a while to realise that Simon always had an overall plan with how training would be best for me. I just needed to trust his process. Simon has been an exceptional guide at a crucial time of my life. I am really grateful to him.
Pain is not my norm anymore. And if I do experience pain after a physically challenging day in the NHS, Simon has taught me the stretches to alleviate it. I don’t need pain meds or to see my osteopath, I can help myself. This is very rewarding.
It is now refreshing for me to have a new goal, ‘fit for life.’ I look forward to Simon’s continued support. He has my highest recommendation for anyone wanting to improve their life.

I have no hesitation in recommending Simon as a PT as well as physio. He has been helping me with an ongoing injury; his knowledge and patience has been a huge help and has led to great improvements. Can't recommend enough.

I'm very happy to recommend Simon as a highly experienced and incisive PT. Having had a break from exercise for a few years, I decided that a PT would be a great way to re-establish some health & fitness habits. Simon has an impressive career history as a physiotherapist, wellbeing coach and personal trainer. He understood my needs and goals, and was able to create a bespoke training programme that suited my level of fitness, and took into account minor injuries and limitations. He was able to modify my programme by pushing me forward or slowing things down when necessary. Within a few months I noticed a significant improvement in fitness and strength. I’m looking forward to working with him again!

Whilst it is easy to point out that Simon stands apart from others through his medically informed approach and academic background in physiotherapy, this does not convey how different he is. As an ex professional athlete, I know how easy it is to become injured by ill-considered training particularly when chasing an Instagram “ideal” and I know how skilled a coach has to be to repair the wear and tear that our bodies endure; Simon is able to coach his clients with an informed sense of how our bodies work to ensure injuries are avoided whilst achieving real-world fitness and mending the aches and stresses of sedentary life. He does this with enthusiasm, energy and serious commentary that adds the secret element essential to coaching, belief in what it is possible to achieve.
My experience of working with Simon over two years is that he found the way to make a tired body sing again without the side-effects of strains and pains. He gave me the push (repeatedly) to step away from my excuses and procrastination to start reaching for fitness goals that excited me for the first time for many years. I am now stronger, more disciplined and aspiring to do more. In my book, that is the best testament as to what a real trainer can achieve.

Simon played a key role in my meniscus repair rehab: if it wasn't for him, I would have stayed on the sofa for the 6 weeks I had to be on crutches and 50% weight bearing. Simon showed me exercises (even cardio!) that I could do while on crutches and followed me throughout my rehab until I was able to walk again: he taught me some exercises for strength training, we did some physiotherapy and also taught me how to walk properly again. He is a fantastic trainer, who I would recommend to anyone also because he his a physiotherapist and can follow you for any kind of requests you might have!
K. W.
Simon is an excellent, knowledgeable and very professional physiotherapist. Already one single session has usually reduced my backpain a lot and has had such a positive impact on my well-being. I can highly recommend Simon to anyone who is looking for a great physiotherapist.
A. F.
Simon has treated me successfully a number of times over the years to help resolve various sports injuries and advise on exercise plans including reviewing my running gait.
When he started Superfit I signed up for a thorough personal evaluation which helped diagnose the chronic back issues I was having and give me a realistic focus for my rehab. He’s very knowledgeable but always tries to explain things in layman’s terms so you can visualise the biomechanics of what is happening and hence how the stretches and exercise will help. I’d thoroughly recommend him.
W. J.
Simon is professional, knowledgeable, and an all-round quality PT. I've been working with him for about a year (including lockdown over Zoom) during which time I've experienced consistent steady improvement in strength, technique, and motivation to train.
L. M.
Simon at Superfit is super knowledgeable, super patient and also just a super friendly person.
Simon’s knowledge is exceptional and he can show you how to train properly and get the most of the exercises.
He can spot the tiniest adjustments to make to an exercise to ensure the right muscles are engaged to the fullest.
Having suffered with fairly constant joint injuries and pain due to hyper mobility (knees, hip, elbow, ankles, foot, wrists so far....) he is teaching me how to control my joints better which sounds simple but several NHS physios, gps and other personal trainers have not been able to do so before.
He is truly the best personal trainer/ physio I have ever met (and that’s quite a few!)
M. S.
Simon is a fantastic PT and I would highly recommend him! Over the last few months I have gained significant confidence in the gym, seen an increase in strength and lost body fat. He is very supportive, motivating and knowledgeable - couldnt have asked for a better PT. Thanks Simon!
-.
Superb trainer - having not been to the gym in a long time I was nervous about jumping back in.
Simon provided a schedule that was perfectly adjusted and was non-judgemental, professional and encouraging throughout.
100% recommend if you are wanting to jump back in!
C. W.
Simon has tremendous depth of knowledge - he catered exactly to my sporting interests and analysed precisely what I needed to do via his consultation and thorough assessment in order to achieve my goals. His advice was specific, scientific and his advanced physiotherapy background was clear in his training/postural advice - he links the two perfectly together. Highly recommend.
J. G.
I saw Simon because I had injured my knee from too much cycling. I found him very professional and knowledgable. And most importantly my knee is now better.
f. b.
I was referred to Simon for physio after an ankle operation for rehabilitation. I was very happy with his help and advice: he explained the issues so I understood the purpose of the exercises, and was able to arrange appointments to fit around my work commitments.
L. M.
I would highly recommend Simon / Super Fit as a unique blend of PT and physio - I have learned so much from my sessions!
I have had PTs before - but all based on weight loss rather than form and understanding why / what and how you should be performing each exercise. Simon helped me understand how to carry out exercises that not only would help me train/tone but also correct posture and look after a foot injury I have.
Great PT!
S. M.
I had constant shoulder pain when I saw Simon, but he quickly worked out what was causing the problem. He prescribed some exercises to alleviate the discomfort, but more importantly, he showed me how to move in a way that avoided me constantly re-injuring myself. Problem solved!
I. C.
Simon fixed my shoulder and neck pain over 3 treatments 100% recommended
A. M.
Simon helped me to regain strength and confidence after some long month of running injuries, with a simple and efficient program and reviews every couple of weeks, now back running injury free :)
c. c.
Simon is an excellent physio. Would 100% recommend him.
B. S.
Great explanation add guidance. Restored my range of motion within 10 minutes.
