Alex is a fantastic trainer. From first introductions he has listened to my goals to help build a program to achieve them which has been excellent. The sessions are enjoyable and challenging providing great value. Above that, outside sessions Alex provides additional value offering great insight to help you achieve goals whether it be through nutrition, wellbeing, mindfulness, tips and joining his zoom sessions at no extra cost. Alex is really enjoyable to work with, provides no judgement and has really helped me improve my fitness and health. Strongly recommend.

Alex’s sessions are fantastic, his focus on posture and muscle isolation really help with exercise both in and out of the gym. The variety of exercises and explanation make the classes both enjoyable and accessible while still challenging. Alex is consistently positive and enthusiastic which makes the sessions fly by and makes setting alarm so much easier, especially in the winter months!

Alex is a really good personal trainer - I was never a fan of exercise for the sake of exercise but he has managed to make our sessions fun. It is really worth signing up if you, like me, are stuck on a laptop all day long - he'll make sure you reset and get your "shoulders back and down" .

What attracted me to Alex was his empathy particularly to a sense of community. He also has a motive to do more than achieve ‘goals’ in physique by opening the door to an overall purpose of health and fitness. It chimed with me and I’ve not looked back. Don’t get me wrong, Alex knows how to apply hypertrophy to every inch of muscle in your body, which as I've understood it in a nutshell is the science behind muscular exercise, tone, strength and development. Indeed, his knowledge of anatomy is on par with a surgeon.
At my juncture in life (I'm old!) however I need to balance fitness with an underlying philosophy on health. Alex’s skill and maturity serves that too. His practice on hydration, breathing, diet, meditation all coalesce so that you begin to fully appreciate the moments that make life a joy. That combined with his laser like accuracy for exercise technique and discipline (with an eye on the greater prize) leads to fitness with compassion. As in he respects you as an individual, understands your limits but works with you to go beyond those limits, to replace bad habits with good ones. He’s constantly learning too, so you get all manner of revisions and updates!
So far as I am concerned, his service is exceptional value for money simply because not only do you get the tailored session but you also get to participate in group Zoom sessions. He has an uncanny ability to spot bad technique to the point where you want to anticipate his corrections! Don’t think he can’t spot those even if you have turned the Zoom camera off!
All in all, Alex will be a godsend to your wish for improved health and fitness. He is a valued part of my life and I can’t endorse him enough.

Alex has actually already transformed my way of life. I was eating too much, and the dietary plan really works for me. Doing the workout technically correct is important for both me and Alex, so what I've learnt will stay with me forever and adds to my other training in other fitness areas. Alex is probably the best personal trainer I've ever used. Having had probably 5 good PTs over the years it was only really when I started with Alex that I started to realise how much of my form had issues noone had really found before. Other PTs were great at getting me moving, into the gym, and running through an A-Z form checklist, but Alex does all this and also goes much further into the cause of the issues - if you're looking for someone who'll message you randomly at 8pm with a bunch of videos and research catered to your problems then you've found him - he really goes the extra mile and really does care.
