Jon has been training me on and off for four years. When we first started, I had zero gym confidence and got anxious the moment I stepped in. Flashforward to now and I'm confident in the gym and my confidence as a person is so much higher. Jon has a way of making you feel comfortable as well as having the knowledge/patience/enthusiasm and humour to make the gym enjoyable. I highly recommend Jon for PT. I've been training with him for almost 3 months now and really enjoy my sessions with him. I found it difficult to motivate myself in the gym but Jon manages to motivate me. He is encouraging and pushed me (just the right amount) and has a wealth of knowledge around fitness and nutrition. He tailors my sessions around what I want to achieve and keeps them fresh and varied.
I have been training with Jon for around 4 years now and wouldn’t train with anyone else. I previously hated going to the gym but having a PT session with Jon is completely different, he allows me to work at my own pace whilst making sure I’ve done a good workout. Jon is kind, professional, friendly and always available for advice about training and nutrition, I’d recommend him 100%.
Jon really knows what he's talking about and can help you identify your fitness and nutrition goals while also providing a detailed plan of how to achieve them with consistency. Training with him is also a fun and easygoing experience.

Jon adapts our sessions and takes into account my needs and goals. He finds the best way for me as an individual to reach my personal goals. If something is not suitable, Jon will look for alternatives.

I've had Jon as a PT for several years now, excluding lockdown. Now I'm nearly 50, I wasn't fit , I'm a Type 1 Diabetic and have epilepsy. I'd been doing pilates for a year and my instructor said I was strong enough to join a gym safely. I was introduced to Jon and we hit it off. My remit was not to make me skinny; it was to make me strong, sustainable and resilient; to get me back up off the floor after a seizure and carry on my life. I usually sleep for hours after a seizure, so resilience was key. It has taken us over a year of diligence, more in Jon's part than mine, to get me to being where I want to be. I'm fitter, healthier, stronger and resilient. I can have a seizure and ok I'm wobbly but I can get up after, I can put myself somewhere safe and I am in so so much less pain. I am able to sustain it. The change in my life is massive and its because of exercise. It's finding a trainer who made sure to understand and help me on such a huge journey. Its ongoing and will always be but today I have the resilience and sustainability to live my life and take part in it; not just exist. I would highly recommend Jon to anyone. He does actually listen, he's great at changing it up to stop boredom and he did exactly what I asked him to do.

Thank God for Jon who managed to keep me motivated on my attempts to get fitter through lockdown! Always look forward to training at the gym each week and have seen great results with diet plans and weekly check ins. Personally find it a massive bonus to have a PT who is flexible, always encouraging and who has a brilliant sense of humour.
I swapped to Zoom sessions with Jon in lockdown #2 and I’m so glad I did. I’ve never done any virtual PT before and was a bit dubious as to whether it would work...but Jon has been brilliant. Giving me workouts to do at home and pushing me with timed sessions during our call. It’s kept me going whilst the gyms have been shut and I don’t think I’ve lost too much strength over the 4 weeks. Can’t recommend Jon highly enough
I have spent some time investigating personal trainers round Maidstone in the past, and never really made a decision, mainly because most don't take the time to really get to know you and what you're about. Its hard to know if someone targets certain goal types more than others.
Jon on the other hand, has given me the time of day and the effort to take a real interest in my needs and desires, whilst keeping them realistic and not unobtainable.
Jon's approach is refreshing, personal and friendly, and I have found him really good value for money so it can be sustainable too!
JMPT has transformed my life.
With the help of Jon I’ve gone down waist size from a 36 to a 32. I feel so much stronger and healthier.
The sessions are tough but very well structured. Jon explains the exercises and breaks them down if I struggle. He keeps my form correct which is important to me as I broke my back some years ago.
All in all JMPT is great value and a great trainer.

Absolutely excellent personal trainer. I lost 3 stone on a 12 week program and kicked my fitness level up a fair few gears! Would highly recommend.

I could not recommend Jon enough. I needed a change but was to scared to do anything about it, Jon put me on the right path and helped me mentally and physically.
Hands down professional and driven by helping people get the results they want always gives accurate advice and never gets anyone to do anything that he would not do himself.
And he has a great personality would definitely recommend
