I have been going to see Hannah, for 1:1 lessons, on and off for the last 2 - 2 and 1/2 years and no matter how long since the last time we have seen each other, she always makes me feel welcome. The atmosphere is comfortable, friendly and relaxed.
Hannah is an excellent teacher with years of experience behind her. There is never any pressure to perform in a certain way or that you have to learn a new move there and then. You learn at your own pace and are able to learn across all the disciplines she teaches (such as ariel hoop, pole, silks, trapeze...)
The lessons are held in her shed. Yes a shed. But don't let this fool you my friends as the inside is spacious enough to be able to swing freely from (or around) any of the appartus you may be using with room to spare. It can be cold in the winter/ spring but heaters are provided to keep you warm and once you get going it doesn't affect you as much.
The difference to your body may not be noticable all at once but over the weeks, months, years you can really see some toning up (especially of the arms!) And the satisfaction of pulling off that move you couldn't do before is, well, you will just have to find out for yourselves.
