I started training with Donagh about 18 months ago. Previously I had been completely overwhelmed by the thought of going to the gym and felt totally out of place when I have attempted in the past.
Donagh was recommended to me by a friend; after plucking up the courage to head along for my first PT session, I was made to feel welcome and at ease.
Over the course of the last 18 months I have continued to train with Donagh twice a week. I have lost over 50lb and my fitness level has improved drastically. I continue to work on my strength and fitness and have never felt so good!
Donagh is an excellent personal trainer. He is always enthusiastic, fun, easy to talk too and he continues to keep me motivated..... Dare I say I have actually turned in to one of those people who enjoys going to the gym!! Who would have thought it!!!
Donagh really has helped me make some big changes in my life to improve my fitness and well-being.
Maximum fitness offers a fantastic environment to train, it provides a great atmosphere, full of genuinely lovely supportive people. I can not recommend Donagh and Maximum Fitness enough!!

If you've thought about a personal trainer, then no need to think any more. Donagh is your man. Whatever your level of fitness or whatever your goals are, Donagh will help you achieve them. He has extensive knowledge about achieving and maintaining a healthy body. But not just your body, your mind and soul too. Donagh is one of the most friendliest and polite people I've ever met. He's very motivational and will push you to your limits. Although the sessions can be tough, you'll still have a few laughs and come out smiling.

I've been training with Donagh for the last four months now and have seen better more definitive results in that time than I have ever seen training on my own.The attention to detail with regards the training and calorie counting all the way to the optimal technique on the individual exercises makes things very simple. Add that together with atmosphere in the gym which is always buzzing, the intensity is fantastic and all the personal trainers are literally with you all the way.
I couldn't recommend these guys highly enough and I know training with Donagh I will reach my end goal and transformation.

I've been a member of Maximum Fitness for about 18 months and been having P/T sessions there with Donagh for about 14 months and having never been in a gym since leaving school 48 years ago they are 2 of the best decisions I've ever made!
Donagh seems to know and understand just what needs to be targeted to get you looking and feeling the best you have EVER felt. End of.
I genuinely believe that he feels privileged to work with every one of his clientele and is just as happy to get the results we want as we are! And all done great craic too!
The gym itself is one of the most welcoming, friendly and supportive places I have ever come across with regard to both staff and members.

I have been working with Donagh since December, I suffer with horrific anxiety so have really struggled to get my fitness levels back since having my children. However, Donagh has been a god send. From the second I first meet him this guy put me at ease. he made a safe space with no judgement just love for his clients. Donagh makes you feel welcomeDonagh makes you feel welcome and helps you in anyway he can, including not forcing me to run 😉. I would recommend Donagh to everyone but especially people who don't like the conventional style gyms or people who are anxious about getting into exercise as this he is amazing. I can’t compliment this guy enough. I started training with Donagh 4 months after having my little boy, so I had a lot of baby weight to lose and I really wanted to get my self confidence back. I had a lot of anxiety about training because I felt so uncomfortable with my body and I just felt like there was no light at the end of the tunnel. Donagh is such a positive person, he is an absolute pleasure to be around and my sessions with him were the highlight of my week. After 8 weeks, my results were phenomenal. I was so much stronger mentally and physically and back in my pre pregnancy jeans! I cannot recommend Donagh enough, a total credit to the profession. Thank you so much.

I would highly recommend Donagh as a PT, throughout my time training with him not only did he fully support me on my journey and guide me with his knowledge, but is caring and understanding and above all he makes working out fun! He assisted me in getting myself back into shape following the birth of my second child, which for me was hard. I have been working with Donagh for over 2 years now. The changes in my life are that I generally feel a lot healthier, fitter, my physique has changed, I have built a lot more muscle and my body fat levels have dropped massively. Donagh is always monitoring to see if we are going in the right direction which helps a lot and keeps you motivated. Going to the gym all the time doesnt fit in with busy lifestyles and doesnt fit in with working around the country. Donagh makes you work hard and he delivers on the results or rather makes you deliver on them! I had constant communication with Donagh and always felt like we were in this together. I have worked with Donagh for over a year following two serious injuries and subsequent surgery. At 62 years old I was at an all time low both physically and mentally and doubtful I could gain full health and well-being. I’ve worked with Donagh and is a top class PT that has the personal drive to get you to where you want to be.
I went to him with a historic back issue that I was worried about, it’s no coincidence my back is stronger than ever after working with him.
Without doubt the sessions with him have 50% more effort because he knows how hard to push you even when you don’t think you can go that far.
