I started attending Scandrett Fitness boot camps after a few years of making excuses for my inactivity and expanding waistline.
I found the boot camps to be extremely friendly and welcoming. The exercises catered for all levels of fitness and ability. I soon found myself attending both the Tuesday and Sunday sessions and feeling more energetic and better for the effort put in.
The sessions are always different and thoroughly enjoyable with a great atmosphere and good humour in the group. Iain encourages people to push themselves that little bit extra that can make big differences
I also started PT sessions with Iain. During an initial consultation clear targets and achievable goals were set. The sessions are tailored to my targets and always enjoyable. Targets are monitored against and after 8 weeks I had lost fat, gained muscle, improved my overall fitness and reduced my resting heart rate. I also sleep allot better
Scandrett fitness has changed my lifestyle for the better. I still enjoy very regular trips to the pub and takeaways but it now feels like I am earning those treats.
I have tried fad diets and they don’t work in the long run. A good exercise plan combined with generally sensible eating means consistent changes to my body shape and overall well-being.
I would highly recommend Scandrett fitness and PT sessions with Iain and seeing the turnout and enthusiasm at each boot camp, so would many more people.
I regret not starting the sessions sooner but late is better than never, give it a go!

Couldn’t recommend Iain more, absolutely fab personal trainer! Before meeting Iain I was training alone and 100% unable to run any large distances. This year I have taken part in two classes run by Iain - couchto10k and better body BOOTCAMP.
- Starting couchto10k I physically couldn’t run for more than 1minute. Iain gave me the push and encouragement I needed in order to reach my goals and I will be running my first 10k race this weekend!!! Running within a group was great - Iain was able to lift our spirits even on the days where we didn’t feel like running! I never would have done this if it wasn’t for Iain’s help & guidance along the way!
- Better body BOOTCAMP is a fun but challenging class. Joining a fitness class can be super daunting but Iain makes you feel so comfortable - always challenging and pushing you to do your best! The class is for all abilities and is always full of laughter - I never ever thought I’d enjoy a fitness class as much as Ido now!
After completing my 10k this weekend I will be 100% sticking to the training and classes - feeling so much fitter and healthier!! Thanks Iain👏🏻👌🏼🙋🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️

I would love to say a massive THANK YOU to Iain!
I first signed up with Iain for 8 sessions, then went on to have another 8.
Each and every session has pushed me and I certainly feel an ache the next day or so, even in muscles I didn’t think existed!
I am a mum to 2 young boys and have struggled with anxiety and depression. I had lost a lot of fitness and motivation, but Iain has been amazingly understanding and supportive, and I’m now getting back into a routine and healthy eating.
Iain’s knowledge is second to none! We laugh every session and I’ll definitely be back for more!
I recommend Iain to everyone I talk to, he is a great person and so approachable. Even days I felt I couldn’t work out, or even get out of the car, (thanks to anxiety) thanks to Iain, I did and worked even harder.

Iain has been a fantastic coach. I used to be fit and healthy, but since having a child, I've become so unmotivated and lazy. When going to the Boot Camp, Iain really gets me motivated and makes sure I push myself to the best of my abilities. He's a great laugh too so we always manage to throw in a bit of banter!

Been going to the couch to 10k group since it began, thoroughly enjoying it. Iain takes his time with each member and gives tips and pointers to help improve. The session are progressive so perfect for beginners looking to improve or try something new, it is a very sociable group and everyone is made to feel welcome. Iain is easy to talk to, friendly and very professional. So if you are looking for a challenge, pop along. I can also highly reccomend iain's personal training packages, totally tailored to suit each individual.

I signed up with Iain initially for 8 weeks as I had become bored and slacking with my usual workout routine and needed someone to boost my motivation and push me to reach my goals. I couldn't recommend Iain enough! He made me feel so comfortable and motivated from the very first initial consultation. We discussed what I wanted to achieve in great length and then discussed how we was going to get me there. He gave me the confidence and self belief that I could push myself and achieve what I wanted. He pushes me to my limit at our weekly workouts and also with my home workouts! I look forward to our weekly workouts and never fail to leave there aching but also laughing and smiling :) I enjoy workout out with him that much that myself and my partner even go along to the weekly bootcamp sessions with him! If you are looking for someone to give you the kick up the butt or just someone to genuinely be by your side guiding you through your journey to achieve your goals then scandrett fitness is for you! I am a dress size down and enjoy it that much I have signed up for another 16 weeks. Great guy, great classes, great achievements! :)

Highly recommended personal trainer. Iain is an outstanding personal trainer and is clearly highly skilled and experienced in his field.
He works in a relaxed yet highly organised way and has been great at designing and adapting exercises that work well for me
He has a very personable , professional and sensitive approach and is ideal for anyone looking to improve their fitness levels, lose weight or simply want to enjoy exercising in the fresh air

For the last 15 years I have been a yo-yo dieter. Lose weight in the summer put it all back on plus some in the winter. This January I weighed the heaviest I had ever been and hated what I saw everytime I looked in the mirror.
I have a stressful job and was starting to realise what the term "burn out" felt like.
My children had left home and I was struggling with that, I felt useless.
I've never been into exercise, I did the C25K a couple of times but never carried on running.
I've never been to a gym, the thought of it makes me cringe.
Then I saw a post on FB in May about personal training with Iain Scandrett. I thought about it for a couple of weeks and then built up the courage to contact him. BEST THING I EVER DID. Following the initial consultation I booked 2 sessions per week for 4 weeks for myself and my daughter. I was happy that Iain could come to us and we could exercise in the privacy of the garden. We absolutely loved the first session. Iain encouraged, motivated and supported us. He gave us advice on exercise and nutrition. When we finished the 4 weeks, we booked in for another 16 weeks as we were so pleased with the results.
In the 6 months I've been training with Iain I've lost weight, lost inches and dropped nearly 2 dress sizes. Most importantly I feel so much better in myself, my energy levels have increased, I feel happier in myself and the stresses of the day are quickly gone following a session.
I now also attend the bootcamp and boxfit classes when I can, both of which are excellent. I didn't think I would ever enjoy exercising like this but Scandrett Fitness makes it fun, every session is different and you are always encouraged to give 100%.
I've finally found a way to maintain my overall health and wellbeing 😊.

I signed up for Iain's Fundamentals to Fat Loss course over four weeks and found it excellent for motivating me to lose the final half stone in a long weight-loss journey. Iain provided plenty of bespoke nutritional advice, all backed up with documentation and guidance on how to keep a food diary. The recommended exercise regime was excellent and took account of existing health conditions and old injuries. The programme was also great fun! Highly recommended.

I've been going to Better Body Bootcamp for a couple of weeks now and i absolutely love it! I really struggle with exercising and keeping fit because i tend to get bored easily. Bootcamp is different to anything i have ever tried, it's always fun and never the same! There's new exercises every week with lots of different activities involved. I never get bored, Iain makes it fun and interesting, explaining what we are going to do and why. I was surpised to find myself counting down the days to the next bootcamp session, and i always left with that good feeling ache in my muscles. I also really enjoy being outside with the elements, it's a challenge to get out there in the cold, but once i'm there i'm so glad i did. I recommend Scandrett fitness to everyone, especially those who are like me and struggle to get motivated.

I have been attending Iain’s boot camps since the summer and also have had some personal training from him .
Iain is really motivated and is interested in what motivates you ,he helps you set realistic goals and has such a positive attitude .His classes are always varied and fun ..you don’t actually notice how hard you are working .He gives good dietary advice and is keen to ensure you understand the changes you make are for the long term and take time to achieve .I also attend the Boxfit classes with Dawid these are also good fun but at the same time challenge you .
I’m really pleased with how I’ve toned up and my clothes fit so much better ,I have made some changes to my diet and feel much more energised .
All the sessions are held outdoors which I surprisingly found I really enjoy ,I've trained in sunshine ,rain and fog ...I’ve yet to experience a snow session ! I’m sure it will come though.😬
If you looking for a good personal trainer or some fun challenging classes you should give Iain a try ...you won’t regret it !

Great class suitable for all levels of fitness as you can go at your own pace - Ian always there to push you on to do your best - very friendly group of woman and men of all ages. Since doing the classes I have definitely seen and felt a difference to my shape and strength- much more so than when I went to the gym. So great to be outside especially after a day in the office. Definitely recommend the classes to everyone. Come along you won’t be disappointed 😀
