I started training with Chris a couple of months ago as I wanted some support with strength training while going through some medical treatment. Chris has gone out of his way to make sure that I have a workable programme based on my current needs and checks in regularly, adapting things as required (with approval from medical professionals). Anything I’ve asked that he is unsure about, he will research and get back to me. I feel safe and well supported by Chris, he obviously knows his stuff and keeps himself up to date within the ever changing fitness world. I really enjoy my sessions and would highly recommend to anyone who needs a friendly push to meet their goals :)

I started training with Chris in January and 3 months in i can honestly say it’s the best decision i ever made! I was a complete newbie to the gym with no idea how to achieve my fitness goals and Chris’ ongoing guidance and support has been second to none.
I feel so much healthier both physically and mentally and i am confident in using the equipment in the gym and training on my own which is a huge achievement for me.

I have been training with Chris for almost two months and i can already see big changes and feel so much happier in myself. Chris is an insane guy and an even better PT. I’ve worked with him on and off for 3 years now and after using other people previously he is by far the best and most professional PT I have ever worked with. He tailors your plan to your specific goals and needs and will adapt things if I don’t feel comfortable with them! He motivates me during a session and continually keeps me motivated throughout the week using my fitness pal and the fitness app to ensure I am accountable.
I wouldn’t ever want to use anyone else now - real sound professional guy that knows how to have a laugh!

Over nearly all my life going to the gym thinking I knew what to do. I actually didn't and I still looked and felt the same and never progressed.
It was time to make some changes. So I thought I'd invest a month with Chris. Three months later I'm still seeing him.
After 2 weeks I felt physically and mentally better.
The skills and knowledge Chris has passed on through our sessions has given me the confidence to use the equipment around the gym and proceed doing what Chris has set me to do on my own weekly.
Unfortunately a couple of weeks ago my back spasmed and I was out of action.
Me being me would of pushed myself and tried to keep soldiering on.
Chris on the other hand was amazing at guiding me what to do and what not to do. It killed me but everything he did helped me get back quicker and stronger.
Now we are back on track and I'm enjoying getting back to normal with our weekly sessions.
I couldn't recommend Chris enough. If you want results and guidance to keep you on track then definitely book a session, I guarantee you'll want to book more.

I've been training with Chris for several months now and he's been brilliant. Even though I'm in my early 20s I have a chronic joint condition which restricts my mobility. Chris is always very considerate and knows when to push me and when not to. We've been working together to build strength and preventing the condition from getting worse and I've noticed such a change. Whilst I used to suffer regular dislocations I have only had one since I began training in February. Chris is also really fun to train with, he's a good laugh and a great motivator. Would reccomend him to anyone who feels anxious in the gym or needs a gentle (but affective) push into fitness and better health.

Having looked at the Personal Trainer information on line and on the notice board in the gym, I spoke to Chris as he looked to cater for my needs. Those being, strengthening my back and knee joints, toning up, losing some weight and generally getting fitter. A tall ask forme. From first speaking with him, it was obvious he was so knowledgeable about what training I needed, as he explained how I would benefit from each workout. I signed up for 4 sessions, 1 a week. I can honestly say that it was the best thing I had done for some considerable years. Each session was slightly different. He added some exercises and dropped a few, as he felt were benefitting my progress. I won't lie, each session was challenging. Unfortunately come to the end of my training. I can't believe how good my back and joints are feeling and I generally have more energy. I now look forward to the gym as Chris has showed me what I need to do to continue going forward as well as showing me how to use the gym equipment PROPERLY. I would 100% recommend that if you are thinking of using a Personal Trainer, speak to Chris.

Chris has tailored a programme that is just what I was looking for. ( I’ve been a gym member for years but needed a bit of a push and to unlearn some bad habits).
He also provided some recipes . I’m not using them to diet so I ignore the calorie counts but they’re easy , tasty & useful.

When your how can I say it "of a certain age" exercise to me is as important as your over 50s wellbeing check at the local Docs. As someone who been going to the gym for a number of years I was getting to the point of working hard but not achieving alot. I decided that I needed a more detailed exercise programme that would lead to a stronger core and also to check on any bad habits that i've developed. I chose Chris as a possible trainer based on the way he operates in the gym. I observed that he operated with his Clients in a very organised fashion and he had the aura of "motivater" about him. I booked a free warm up session with him on a Saturday and it was as I expected, professional and thorough. I spoke to him afterwards and explained what i was looking for and after listening he said he could devise a supervised programme that would suit me and it could be developed as time went on. To cut a long story short I'm now on my 3rd month with him and it's been great. Easy to work with, listens to you and he is forever pestering you(in a good way) on your thoughts, progress and aspiration. Some times it's not what you do it's the way that you do it. If your looking for a bit of a social touching your toes, forget it. If you need to get stronger and gain some exercise confidence you wont get anyone better. Thoroughly recommended.

Chris is an amazing personal trainer I have seen a substantial amount of improvement in the past few months because I used to be slow and couldn't jump really well and now I jump almost 5 inches higher and I am in better shape! His programs work well because they are all attributed to my sport which helped me improve in the sport

I started working with Chris to help me lose my pregnancy weight, I was a little worried to start but Chris was amazing and so welcoming and made me feel comfortable straight away. Chris is amazing at his job he doesn't just help with your fitness he also helps with your diet plan. Chris is very passionate about what he does and you can see that in ever session he does with you he is always on too form. He works you very hard and you don't get away with anything, he is very supportive and gives you good banter. I would highly recommend Chris he is a great person trainer and I really enjoy working with him even when he gives me battle ropes which he knows I hate 😊

Chris is a fab trainer with great sense of humor so every session is filled with positive attitude which empower you to work out even harder. I started training with him last Feb 2020 and his personalized workout program helped me with my goal— strengthening for manual handling at work. I am a nurse and my body strengthening workout personalized by Chris definitely made my work life easier. Even with Covid, Chris has made ways to still coach me virtually(Zoom). He adjusts to clients’ preference and can do indoor, outdoor, in the gym, group sessions, and even virtual classes.Highly recommended!

I have been working with Chris for a couple of months now and am really enjoying it. He’s kept my program updated and changed it up to keep interest as well as pushing me. I’m really enjoying the weights and have been taught some good techniques which have transferred into daily life. I did not enter this program to lose weight as many do, with good results, but I’m feeling stronger, more energetic and introduced more cardio to my weekly routine because of this, so as a byproduct have lost weight/ changed shape for the better.

Not only did he emphasise the importance of good form in working out, but also how vital it is to be aware of the intake of food in your body. I’ve used PTs before but Chris has definitely been the best, and that’s why I’ve stuck with him. He makes you work hard, and is results driven, but he mixes it up and tries to make it fun. I would recommend him 110%. Chris knows his stuff and is always willing to share his knowledge with you to obtain your goals.
