James has been brilliant building my workout plans suited specifically to my goals and timelines. Throughout our programmes he takes care to check how I'm getting on both nutritionally and physically to make sure I am pushing but in a manageable way.
Throughout my programme, I've managed to hit all my goals and continued to progress in my training. James has really helped me feel focused when I go to the gym, keep me on track with my diet and I've got my motivation back for fitness after lock down completely sapped it out of me.

I'd thoroughly recommend James/Onside for anyone looking to hit their fitness and nutritional goals. Plans are tailored and simple to follow, meaning there's no excuse other than to give it your all! James is highly knowledgeable and quick to respond to questions. As a female, I've been put off previously by some gyms and PT styles, James however has been so supportive. He's boosted my confidence, I'm enjoying exercise and seeing results!

I honestly can't recommend James enough. Not only does he define a routine and goals that are achievable, realistic and inspiring, but he also provides in-depth, regular feedback to assist you on achieving them too!
He offers a truly personal service, and is available whenever I need him for advice and guidance. His weekly content is great for understanding all the aspects of your training, and on top of all that he brings a real positivity to training which is reflected in everything he provides you.

James has tailored my gym training around a pretty full on cycling plan, enabling me to hit multiple goals at the same time and making sure it's manageable and that I'm not over-training.
I've been with him for over 3 months and I have seen great progress on the bike aswell as in the gym, which I'm really happy about. I live in Wales and so I'm not local to James, however he's always on hand for advice. He's understanding and helpful when life gets in the way, his knowledge of training and nutrition is second to none.

Would really recommend James at Onside PT - James designed a fitness and nutrition plan which allowed me to get back to fitness (and stay fit) after a car accident had left me out of shape and struggling for motivation. I am now back playing football,,living a healthier, happier life and still work with James to maintain this. Would highly recommend
